  1. I'm seeing a lot of debate about the legitimacy/accuracy of the interview in that French link. I'm not saying it's true or false, but the fact this is being discussed is something to keep in mind for the time being until we have better confirmation.
  2. I'd personally be interested in this. Last I checked the Retrode still didn't support N64 save backup, and iirc all other dumpers are rare and expensive ancient hardware like Dr V64/Dr V64 Jr.
  3. Unfortunately I think Eeveelutions are overplayed at this point, and personally have no interest in seeing any new evos. A Dragon-type Eeveelution would be the only thing I'd have the slightest interest in. Either way I'd applaud any completely new pokemon additions, hopefully more than just these three UBs and the obvious Mythical or two.
  4. That sounds like a cop-out excuse tbh, I don't see a legitimate reason not to include a few more Alolan forms. At least it seems to imply there could be other new pokemon besides the three new UBs. That's surely a positive. Assuming they weren't referring to returning old pokemon. Though I wasn't sure if they were saying there will be a new evolution for Eevee or what, "different possibilities for Eevee".
  5. @theSLAYER There's no language option. Someone gave me those images, as I don't own the non-English variants.
  6. FYI to anyone who has the temptation to buy this cart, the rom is in possession of private collectors, and we know the nature of these GBA devcarts mean they can be rewritten (thus possible repros) if you've found the software needed to do so. Never trust a loose devcart. Also, the price is way too expensive (worth much less than 1k imo), when even with asinine overpriced roms, I could theoretically obtain the French, German, Italian, and Spanish variants of both the 10A and Aura Mew roms all together for slightly less than what the seller is asking for this single cart. But anyway, I guess it's a good time to post these images, which I've kept private for a long time.
  7. I guess I'll put in my two cents as well: -Lycanroc's New form: Neutral. Interesting concept, but I still wish it's 3D model looked more unique from Midday. Artwork looks way better. -Necrozma's New forms: Grew on me a lot over the months. Hated them at first, but like them a lot now. Which is surprising, because I'm not a fan of Kyurem's fusions. I like Kyurem's fusion concept, but the design would likely be a lot better if we got the Original Dragon. -UB Burst and Assembly: Love them both, and I love UBs. Though Assembly > Burst -UB Adhesive: Don't really care for it too much, but don't hate it. Least favorite UB. Still think it may be a Mythical. Otherwise, I hope the evolution theories are true. -New Z-Moves: I like Z-Move animations, but overall I don't use them that much. And if used in excess, said animations are too long. So I don't care either way for getting new Z-Moves tbh, but I like the lore behind them. Likely will be abandoned next Gen as a Gen 7 gimmick, as Megas were for Gen 6. -Ultra Dimension travels: Traversing Ultra Space is one of the things that has me most excited about this, in regards to traveling to other dimensions. I like the concept. In regards to past legends, I hope it takes you to small parts of their home region. For example, Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave, but can't leave due to some sort of obstruction, or the wormhole blocking the exit. I don't want the battles to commence as soon as you enter the wormhole, like the Hoopa portals in ORAS. -Rotom Dex O-Powers: Beneficial for their purpose, so that's good -Mantine Surf: Neutral. Would prefer actual surfing routes between islands, similar to Hoenn. I like exploration in pokemon games, and this doesn't offer that. Similar, but less interesting, to ORAS Soaring. Reminiscent of Yellow's Pikachu Surf, which is fun on occasion. -Return of Festival Plaza and Battle Tree: Festival Plaza sucks big time, but expected to return. Hope next Gen brings back a PSS variant. Battle Tree is fine I guess, I stopped expecting Frontier to return a long time ago, especially after the ORAS tease. -Alola Photo Club: Useless, personally. May use it once or twice -Valley of Pikachu: lol... likely pointless mascot pandering -New Cap Pikachu: Not too interesting, like all Cap Pikachus, but I like it as an event collector. -New Move: Mind Blown: Cool. Deals a lot of damage though, so idk if it's practical. -New Story: Looking pretty good. Glad to see it isn't just Necrozma shoehorned in at the Altar like Platinum or Emerald, rather more deviation like BW2. I like Ultra Megalopolis and the URS. Story is important for pokemon imo, because other than completing the pokedex and event collecting for postgame, I very rarely have touched competitive since Gen 4. Hope the hints at Zygarde in SM actually are followed up on, not just something used to shoehorn in the new forms. -Island Trial changes: Hope they aren't too similar to SM. I don't have a problem with them though. Was hoping for the theoretical Gym postgame though. Overall, I still want Gyms back next Gen. Other things to mention, -Larger Pokedex: One of the most important things personally. That's how I spend my postgame. Really hope we have NatDex returning, as I said before. Then I'll have more of a reason to make an Alolan-Born/Native National Living Dex like I did for XY. With past legends returning, it's looking more likely. I'm still worried though. Hope we have new Alola forms, and possibly a few more new UBs. Still don't know how the pokedex arrangement will work out. Hope more than just one new mythical. -New Areas: Hopefully other new areas to explore, not just small gimmick areas like Valley of Pikachu. Hopefully Ultra Space is fairly extensive. Alola was thankfully a bit less linear than Kalos, but still doesn't have the exportation aspect of the older generations. Exploration is important, personally. -"Easier to catch and train pokemon": I hope this means fixing crap like ultra rare SOS exclusives like Mareanie and Sableye. I don't mind low encounter rates, but this concept was nothing but a tedious pain when completing the dex in SM. ----- I'm hoping with this being the last 3DS main Pokemon game that they go all out and make it as best as it can be. At the very least, it is looking like it may be the best 3DS Pokemon game, despite certain things I would change or things prefer to return from other games. Hopefully it's satisfying enough to hold the gap we know we'll have to wait until the Switch games in 2019/2020.
  8. This is pretty interesting; quote from Serebii: "It confirms that the game is further detailed than people believe with there being further post-game story content than before, saying it is far more in-depth than Pokémon Platinum and that the story is twice that of Pokémon Sun & Moon's." ----- Edit: http://www.siliconera.com/2017/10/17/pokemon-ultra-sun-moon-isnt-a-sequel-has-a-different-main-story-with-other-worlds-to-visit/
  9. I had a feeling they'd do that with Ultra Space like they did with the Hoopa portals in ORAS, since they usually seem to make all pokemon available one way or another per generation. And with ORAS they didn't shiny-lock any of the portal legends, allowing the first shiny Reshiram and Zekrom. I don't think Zygarde will be obtainable through Ultra Space though, but maybe. Other than Zygarde, I think only UBs, Tapus, and certain mythicals are still shiny locked. Depending on how the UB ultra spaces work, hopefully we can catch them as shiny this time. Otherwise we'd still have way too many shiny locked pokemon that'll likely not all get distributions.
  10. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in the past, particularly since I don't think we've been able to "legally" run into this scenario, but when receiving a Z-Crystal that you already have from a mystery gift(since Z-Crystals are infinite), this short dialogue event is shown. I noticed it when I started receiving the multiple Ash Pikachus.
  11. Yeah, @ 2:04 Kommo-o and Arcanine double battle, matches that screenshot. I figured people were jumping to conclusions, that screenshot was too blurry to confirm/deny anything IMO.
  12. I suppose this may not be the best place to post this, but if anyone in North America needs a Marshadow code, you can shoot me a private message. I just got four today, but only needed two.
  13. Unsetting flag 825 will show the sprite, along with fixing constant 155 for the event trigger. Can confirm it works for both Ruby and Sapphire. I also just tested the above Regi flags, and they work for Emerald as well. Rayquaza at 773 works for RS only. ----- Other legend/static battle flags I'll try to document are: RS: Island Lati, possibly the roaming Lati Emerald: Rayquaza, Island Lati, possibly roaming Lati, Mew, Deoxys, Ho-oh, Lugia, Sudowoodo FRLG: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, eastern and western Snorlax, possibly roaming Johto beast, Deoxys, Ho-oh, Lugia. I don't think I'm forgetting anything. Groudon and Kyogre in Emerald may be difficult with the randomly spawning caves, but we'll see. I'll try to find the time. For some I'll probably have to grab some used savefiles off Gamefaqs that haven't had anything battled yet.
  14. I was actually working on documenting all the Gen 3 legend/static rebattle flags last month, but since then I've been distracted or too busy with other things. I can post what I have. Regirock Battled: 935 Set Regice Battled: 936 Set Registeel Battled: 937 Set These work for RS, haven't tested with Emerald yet. I can try to find time to document more battle flags this week. Stuff like Kyogre/Groudon in the Cave or Origin weren't working. I could respawn them, but not trigger them to come towards you(since you can't actually press A in front of them).
  15. So with that new Alola Rotomdex advertisement/toy(or whatever it was) showing Cosmog at 387 and Marshadow at 402, (implying Cosmoem 388, Solgaleo 489, Lunala 490, Necrozma 400, Magearna 401), which only leaves room for 9 UBs in between. We now have 10 UBs, so either that Rotomdex thing is somehow incorrect, or there will be UBs after Marshadow. A new mythical is almost guaranteed at this point since we get one every single year and the Switch game won't be out until 2019/2020. Though I find it odd if they'd add just two new UBs before Marshadow, and one(or more) after. The possible scenario I can see here is that UB Adhesive is only seen used during the story by the URS, and not obtainable in-game, only to get distributed later on. Sort of like AZ's Floette, but actually being distributed this time. Either that, or a clustercrap of pokedex organization. Though that still has me thinking about the National Dex in general. Whether or not it will be in USUM this time(hopefully), but rather the NatDex in PokeBank. Will all three(or more) UBs be after Marshadow (803, 804, 805), or will they shift Necrozma, Magearna, and Marshadow upward to place the new UBs with the others? It seams a logical reason why there was no NatDex in SM (and PokeBank can easily be updated), but someone had said the TCG has Marshadow at 802, so I don't know if that'll actually be used in consideration with the new NatDex arrangement or not. I'm definitely very curious about all of this though. And I hope the NatDex is back in USUM, because filling the dex has always been my favorite part of post-game, and the 302 in SM was too easy, and if only 402 in USUM, that's only marginally better. Edit: I also noticed how UB Adhesive looks somewhat different from the other UBs, and actually resembles "pixie" mythicals in general.
  16. I recently replayed the game and used a Poliwag on my team that was transferred from VC Yellow. Since becoming champion, I noticed PKHeX marks my Poliwrath as illegal due to the Alola Champion Ribbon being "invalid".
  17. OT: "MT. Tensei"... Is that a reference to the movie or something?
  18. Ok, that's probably your problem. Click the Mystery Gift section in PKHeX and delete flag 0627, not just the wondercard. That and a zeroed-out Game Sync ID should be all that's necessary. Let me know.
  19. Maybe I was just lucky with the Game Sync ID being only necessary, but I'd think it'd be the case for everyone. Is this with a backup save before you originally received the wondercard, or did you manually remove the it? If you removed it manually you may have forgot to remove the flag that says you've received it.
  20. Did you actually replace with all 0s, or did you just leave it blank?
  21. I just tested again by only zeroing out the Game Sync ID, and it worked. So that can confirm it's all that matters in regards to the server.
  22. I had mentioned this last week and wanted to report back with my findings. So when trying to receive the Hoenn Cap Pikachu with my backup save before the Original Cap was received, with edited TID/SID/G7ID/OT, it was still staying I had already received the gift. What finally allowed me to receive Hoenn Cap Pikachu was editing the Game Sync ID. And for what it's worth, I never used Game Sync with this game.
  23. You could always use the Mystery Gift tool to receive the tickets from the legit wondercards
  24. Sure. The more I thought about it, I definitely remember someone mentioning it back then that there were two variants. I guess it slipped most people's mind that it existed. -file deleted- //--post merged--// @theSLAYER I somehow must've missed seeing the wc6 was also uploaded on this page. Though the PKHeX legality issue is still there, so I suppose I'll need to make a bug report. @Kaphotics
  25. Wasn't there two wondercard variants of this event, one that doesn't force 3 IVs of 31? Why I'm bringing it up is because I noticed PKHeX marks my Diancie as illegal due to not having 3 31 IVs, yet I know it's legit because I received the wondercard myself from the GameStop code in 2014. Viewing the original wondercard data in my X it shows it indeed does not force 3 31 IVs, but this one shows that it does.
