    You know these don't spawn the mon right? All it does it have it seen in the Pokedex. If you're using Citra, you won't need this.

    I've tested by sending my save to another team member who has yet to connect to the internet. He could see the items, and use the Dynamax crystal. It appears that the item description (encounterable species) is stored on the save from the update data, if no newer game update data is present on the console. Need more looking into this.

    Will give it a go in a few hours time. I initially thought that may be the case, however my testings shows that the system I was working with may already have the update data, so I'm gonna have to tweak some settings before I try it out later in a few hours time.

    It *may* be possible that if you load the save on console that had the update, save the game, then load said save back onto a console without any updates (such as your hacked Switch), it could potentially work. Send over your saves, I want to give it a try. edit: needs more testing.

    The event Meowth has a bitflag specifically for Gigantamax. So if HOME doesn't add it (let's say by random chance) to any of your existing mons, then it wont happen.

    The same issue existed for LGPE; while the game stores the language byte for the save in the "trainer block", it refers to the display language in a totally different area.

    @Kaphotics as of 191115e, I can confirm this problem is still there. I'm assuming it's a If Darmanitan and Greater than form id 0 type of thing.

    Yeah it because they aren't in the game. Exeggutor's form options also missing because of that. It'll be an issue if their form dropdown box doesn't appear in SMUSUM or LGPE, but thankfully they do. Anyhow thanks for the report, continue keeping an eye out!
