I'm new to pokegen and not terribly computer literate. My problem is that whenever I try to save the PokeGTS.us DNS code my DS tells me that the data I entered is invalid. :confused:

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread. So, I'm new to using PokeGen and the ir-gts and I desperately need help on how to access the IV event Suicine and Celibri pokemon and trade it to GT for SS, and then I'll recolate it to Black. If anyone could help I would love it!:wink::biggrin:

Im trying to save edit pokemon heartgold on my 3ds using checkpoint to back up data and pokegen to edit. However, when i transfer the save to my computer, pokegen doesnt recognize it. Im sure that im using the correct .sav file and that checkpoint is fully updated. My pkmn heartgold is not bootleg either. I tried loading somebody else's save on pokegen and it worked, so i figured that there's something wrong with what i did. Any suggestions? Ive been trying to get this to work for a while, so any help would be appreciated.

The Pokemon Generator code doesn't work for making eggs and it always gives a ? with "FNT" written. Is there a different software needed to create Drastic Codes? I really need a Scraggy Egg. Infact no code has ever properly worked for generating Pokemon from PokeGen

I'm going to use it against my friends, who are already aware that they're not legal. I already made the files, just put them in your PkHEX service and trade it to me. My in game name is Sceptile, and my friend code is 4743-0960-3800. So like I tried downloading pkhex on my Chrome book laptop and it didn't work out as planned. So whoever made pkhex can you make a version for chromebook. So I use pkhex on the go. Thanks.

I am aware that Pokegen is most likely no longer supported and has been abandoned in favor of moving on to the newer gens PKHex has ascended to a level that some onlookers of Project Pokemon never even thought would happen three years ago, with the widespread availability of 3DS hacking and knowledge we've gotten recently it should come as no surprise that most efforts have been shifted towards research on XY/ORAS and eventually Sun and Moon later this year... However, I wanted to bring Pokegen back to everyone's attention in hopes of making it as streamlined and useful as PKHex has become, some features that come to mind are: Box Data Report Showdown Import/Export options (Including Battle Box option for 5th Gen) Realized Savegame Editor option (This thread comes to mind, hopefully we actually get intelligent replies here) Basic legality check (If even possible, as far as I know .xfr has gone off of the face of the Earth and the most we'll get is some implementation of Legal.exe) Various other options that might fit under Savegame editor that are seen in PKHex such as Trainer Info, Event Flags, and Hall of Fame Editor At the very least I wanted to rally support for the knowledge of 4th/5th Gen Savegames and PKM files, hopefully this can reach the dev(s) to tie up some loose ends myself and the general community would like to see taken care of. Alternatively, I might take it upon myself to implement some of these features so it can be available to everyone, and also to prevent lack of interest and knowledge similarly to Gen 3. :bidoof: Some other things I wanted to refer to: :bidoof: Pokesav Legal.Exe (Abandoned, PokeCheck was able to accurately check PKM files for illegalities) Pokecheck (Which maybe be a majoring factor in why the general community would want this in the first place) -
So on wifi-battles stats like "Has 32BP" shows up, and "Has hatched 2329 eggs". Is there any way to modify this number/stat within Pkhex? Its very nice to gen legit pokemon with pkhex, but what good is it if stats like "has hatched 0 eggs" shows up? I would suggest this as a modifiable option within Pkhex:biggrin: It would be unbelieveable to see someone with 10 shiny pokemon and 200 hatched eggs. To make it seem legit, you should be able to modify the number of eggs you have hatched

I've been genning Pokemon for a while, however my 2ds I used to gen was broke by a friend and I no longer have anyway to send over one last Pokemon. I have the file but have no way to get it to my game. Thank to anyone who helps or knows someone who can! -

As you all know, the QR Code Injection exploit has been patched by Nintendo. I came across this news only today when I attempted to gen a team into my game with the QR Codes. Will somebody do so for me? Images are here - removed -

I am currently trying to run an event distribution for an online group among my friends, and I want the Pokemon to have a different OT than my own. However, when I generate the Pokemon in Gen 4 or Gen 5 (I'm planning on transferring them to Gen 6 before trading) the OT is always blank. I've tried every method I can to get the OT name to stay imputed and work, but every time it's always blank. I'm using 3.1.13 PokeGen. Does anyone know a way around this, or what I'm possibly doing wrong?

Hey everyone I am stuck in an odd situation and each time I try to battle my friend wirelessly with my shiny hoopa the comm error screen pops up while we are choosing are pokemon. From what I can tell it seems pretty legit to me but I may be overlooking something. I have tried multiple times with many multiple combinations of memories and still I cant get it to work. Anyone have a ekx file that does work? Thanks in advance also here is an example of a hoopa I have attempted to use but like I said I tried several different variants; Moveset: Psyshock Shadowball Hyperspace hole HP Fighting. Met route 2 OR cherish ball modest level met 100 memories : Hoopa met Bicentennial at... a riverside road. Bicentennial threw a Poké Ball at it, and they started to travel together. The Pokémon remembers that it got nervous. Hoopa became Bicentennial’s friend when it arrived via Link Trade at... somewhere. The Pokémon remembers that it had fun. Thanks in advance as I am off to bed and any help will be extremely appreciated ! -
Title says it. I can't seem to save the changes whenever I edit this file. I've successfully done it at a japanese black and white 2, english hgss but strangely not at this file. POKEMON DIAMOND (J).sav -
Hello!! so heres my dilemma. i am trying to pokegen using an action replay and my pokemon white version. I've been using Pokemon Generator 3.1.13. I have an entire folder containing "legit" pokemon files so the pokemon can get through pokemon transporter to my Y version.( It has worked before the wifi was shut down so i know the pokemon files are working properly. ) i copied the generated code and placed it in my action replay, turned on the game, when i was in the game i pressed the activating button (Select) and went into my pc. When i clicked on "move pokemon", the error "An error has occured please turn off the power" pops up instead of my box with the pokegenned pokemon. Is there a way around this? and what exactly is the problem?? -
Hi guys! So I have been using PokeGen for AWHILE now and I thought of making a program for people. I will post pictures for what it looks like. The program lets you pick a save or PKM file to download. The files currently on the program are saves requested by others that they can not get through the pokebank. The location they are downloaded from are just my dropbox account and if asked for, I will try to provide a source code. I have an EXE build and a JAR build. The EXE build requires the .NET framework. NOTE: NORTON ANTIVIRUS MAY PICK THE PROGRAM UP AS A SONAR VIRUS BECAUSE IT DOWNLOADS FILES FROM THE INTERNET! Hi guys, Im trying to create a legit Pokegen-Mew File which makes it through the Pokebank.
