Pokesav for Platinum keeps shutting down randomly. What is wrong with it? I can only work with it for a few seconds before it shutts down.

On both the Diamond & Pearl poke sav and the Platinum one it won't load my NDS file. I have tried to change the settings on my NO$gba so it saves .sav files, but this is not properly loaded by pokesav and cannot be loaded by No$gba. I was wondering whether there was a solution for this problem.

for some reason, when i type in a name for my pokemon or the trainers, it wont show up. It works fine on my windows xp on my older computer, but it wont work my laptop that has vista. if anyone has a version of platinum or pearl pokesav that has that issue fixed, please tell me.

Yesterday Pokesav screwed up the r4 SAV file I was editing and I ended up losing the legit lv100 Froslass I had traded over from my original Diamond. (I know, stupid me for not backing up first.) Anyway I managed to reconstruct a new, legal Froslass with exactly the same stats and exactly the same moveset (Grudge-Confuse Ray-Shadow Ball-Ice Beam) as my old Froslass and traded it back to my original game. I then decided I didn't want Grudge anymore so I went to the Heart Scale dude in Pastoria. When I went there, though, the only moves that the new Froslass could remember were its default moves Powder Snow, Leer, Astonish, and Double Team, and not any of the moves it would learn through level up like Destiny Bond (at lv59) or Blizzard (at lv51), or even the moves it used to have as a Snorunt like Hail (at lv40) So, is there any way to use Pokesav to make Pokemon remember ALL the moves theyr'e supposed to learn through level up using heart scales?

I have a pokemon now, a fire type. still in beginner town.

Ok, call me a totally retarded, because this question kinda is. I was wondering if the Pokesav for Plat has EVER updated (-specifically the Japanese). On http://pokesav.umimi.com/ the last date on the Plat version is 2008/10/23. I'll take a guess that this site is the "main" site. In the back of my hmind I ponder (aka OCD obsess) if the guy has submitted a new version, etc. (Maybe even on 2ch?) 0.06 works pretty damn well - except for the Event flags, and they're running a lot of people (including me) up a wall. In the end, if it's no, I'll fucking live with it. Just... I wonder... I couldn't find it on Google Japan, so I figured I'd run it by you guys *braces for impact*

I already have the pokesav files made. A friend of mine tried to open them on his pokesav and it didn't work. He claims that I have the wrong version even though I just downloaded it off this website. He fixed up my mistakes and created these files http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LF0XW7RB I tried to open them up on my pokesav and it didn't work. I don't have action replay so I wanted him to send me the files Via wifi but he can't get them running on his action replay. here is my WIFI code: 2536 0256 0129 If someone can send me these pokemon over wifi that would be great. and if those files dont work tell me and I'll send you the version of the files that come off my pokesav. I start playing Pokemon Platinum and I save the game. The SAV file is 154 KB so I can't open it with PokeSav because its neither 256 nor 512. So I go to Shuny to convert my files to 256. I put it in the BATTERY folder in my no$gba folder. I opened up PokeSav and edited my pokemon then saved it. When I go to play it, my pokemon don't have the edited stats and moveset and whenever I get rid of the original SAV file and leave the new one, my saved file in the game is gone and I have to make a new one. Am I missing something here? :frown: Tried it with 512 too, same result.

Hey guys, first time posting here. Not sure whether this belongs here but here goes. I hacked a Caterpie in my Platinum game. I didn't hatch it from an egg but took it straight from the box in the PC. Pretty retarded. Now, when I look at the summary for it, the Pokedex entry is ??? Is there any way to fix this? I've tried to meet it in a random encounter, I've tried hatching it, but it still doesn't get added T_T And I've already saved my game. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm relatively new to the idea of the flash cart. I've only ever heard it randomly in pokemon trading forums when people would ask if i used an r4 or an m3 or such to hack check an event pokemon. I finally decided to start doing some looking into and i have a good few questions that i just simply have not been able to find a clear answer to and was hoping someone on here would be able to help me out. 1) FIrst off, I don't have any type of flash cart but i am planning on ordering one tomorrow i just haven't decided which would best suit me. I have a ds lite. Don't really plan on getting the dsi... I was thinking cyclo or acekard2i. 2) One of my first questions is I assume i'll have some kind of manager tool to manage all of my dowloaded rom games. So through this manager would that be how i get to a pokemon .sav file and then to a specific .pkm file for editing or hack checking? 3) Next i was wondering can you trade a pokemon from a rom game to somebody's real pokemon game? Or battle from a rom game with somebody's real game? 4) Also i was wondering how i would go about transfering one of these .pkm files from my rom game to my actual diamond or platinum game. I have an action replay, could i somehow use that in the process? 5) Is there a way to get a pokemon from my actual game to my computer to hack check it? And how would i do that and what would I need? Basically i do a lot of pokemon event trading and such and am wondering how not having the actual pokemon game will affect me? And how i can go about hack checking my events on my real game now that i will have one of the flash cart devices. Thanks for any and all help.

I have the AR code for the pokemon I want, but my AR won't work. Could somebody please use their AR and pokemon Diamond to get the pokemon, and then tread them to me? This would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Here is the code, and I set it to having one pokemon in party, so put one bidoof in the party or something.

Something weird has been happening when I use Pokesav. However for the last one it's just messed up. Is there any idea to get rid of this? It appears every time I open Pokesav. I even deleted it and downloaded the program again and still the same thing.

So i was using the pokesav,so i save blah blah i turn on my ds and go to the PC to move my pokemon and i see Question marks on empty slots and when i go see my party the game freezes and the music keeps playing O-O idk what happened can anyone help please....

Hi guys i just recently joined here and was trying to use the pokesave file, but i seem to be having issues trying to find the event tab so i can add the wonder files as well when i tried to edit my pokeball qunaitites and used the save file they remain the same in game Any idea? Thanks

Hey guys! This is my first post on this forum, so bare with me here =P. The other night I went and downloaded Pokesav for Heart Gold and Soul Silver to conjure up some Pokemon for when the games eventually come out in the United States. I've gotten pretty good at Pokesav over the past few months, but I'm still somewhat confused over creating Pokemon for HG/SS, mostly because having to edit Hex values to get the proper "location met". My goal is to have these Pokemon appear as if I obtained an egg in Platinum, then traded it over to Soul Silver, and then hatched that egg in New Bark Town. I want to make PKMN for my Japanese Soul Silver game, but I am not sure of what order the hex values need to be set for them. I want to know what the hex value set up and order for a PKMN I breed from an egg in SS looks like when making it in Pokesav so I can make it correctly and look legit. I want to make a few PKMN to use and I want them to look like I bread them in my SS game. So I need to know what hex values to use for it to look like the egg was received from the Daycare Couple, hatched somewhere in Kanto or Johto, and look legit. If someone can show me a picture of a HG/SS Pokesav party PKMN edit screen fully filled out for an example that would be awesome and I would appreciate it. I very recently dowloaded pokesav to make some minor adjustments on my platinum sav file. It worked fine and i was able to tweak a few things. I was going to use pokesav again today but when i open to sav file, all that comes out as my name is ‚|||||. None of my pokemon, items or any other data appear anymore except for my money. Im using no$gba emu to play the plat rom and evrything works fine so it has to be pokesav right? all help is appreciated:confused:
