Is this bad, because I won't have problems if I save twice right? I edited quite few things but when I do something with pokesav now it will always say my Savefile is corrupted but when the game loads the previous one it will have all my hacks:confused: Will I still be able to play online or against friends with a semi-corrupted save file? Or is there some way to fix this? (In Platinum on my R4 btw) -
I am new to using the pokesav (Platinum). I have used some of the individual codes (input through the AR), but would like to be able to edit a save file. My question is how are you able to access the save file from the game card? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Alright. I bought the Action Replay DSi and backed up my Pokemon Platinum save. It has the extension ".duc". This apparently isn't usable in the Platinum Pokesav. So I went to the Shuny site (Save Converter site) and tried converting it to a few save files... they were opened up, but everything was completely wrong on the PokeSav application. No Pokemon, random play times, no inventory, no pokemon in my PC box, etc. It was just random mixed up stuff. Could someone please help me figure out what I should do so I can use Pokesav? Thank you.

Hi, I try yo use pokesav to import a pgt file on my platinum save but when i receive the the gift (the Korea battle series arcanaine) the name of the pokemon and the OT name only appear as a bunch o ?. Can anyone please help me. I try to use PDC-Safe but i was only able to load the pdc file on save, not the pgt file. Thanks in advance

I did not see this coming. I got an Action Replay DSi in the store, and loved the improvments. EVERYTHING about it was improved. I play with the Save backup/Restore feature, and they made the touch screen usable, and also removed the comment feature. For those of you who wish to convert save files from / to this, just know this: all the tools for the Action Replay Media Edition will work on this device. (Just make sure the save size is the proper size, for you people with flashcarts with 512KB saves for every game) The point of this thread is to state that tools are not required for the ARDSi DUC file.

Hi, I'm new to these forums. Can someone please help me convert my save file from 1024kb to 512kb? I have a Pokemon Platinum .sav file that that is 1024kb. I am trying to bring it down to 512kb so I can edit it with pokesav. I tried to convert it through http://shunyweb.info/convert.php but I get an error that the upload has failed.

I was playing around with the tweaking glitch in diamond [info on tweaking] and sure enough I corrupted my save file by doing so. I have reason to believe nothing more than my map coordinates are corrupt and that all of my pokemon are still in tact. This all happened a few months ago. Onto my pokesav issue... I recently bought an Action Replay DSi which comes with the ability to make backups of your game saves. I ripped my save from the Diamond cart and popped it into the computer to discover it was a .duc file. I then plugged the save into this converter to create a 512kb RAW .sav file, as was suggested in the pokesav FAQ. When I try to open the .sav file in pokesav, everything appears entirely corrupted. I got an error "invalid file" when I tried the same thing with PPSE, just to see if it would open there. As a sort of control experiment to test whether my save was really completely corrupted, I tried ripped, converted and tried opening my Platinum cart's save in the platinum version of pokesav. It still gave me a lot of corrupted information even though my Platinum save isn't corrupted in any way. When I converted the save, I tried autodetection [which gave a 512kb file], forcing 256kb and forcing 512kb. None of the three resulting files worked. I tried making a code to run directly on the Action replay, but I don't know when to activate via pressing L+R to set the coordinates. Trying to take off the button activator didn't work either [though I'm not experienced enough in code-making to know if I did that right or not] I can upload the .duc files of my diamond save to mediafire if it would help.

ive decided that i should probably help out here some. for requests, i will accept anything with semi normal IVs, just post what pokemon, minimum IVs, nature, Ability you want, etc. I can do shiny pokemon too, just ask. These pokemon have the correct PID, ability class, and everything else, i will make them look exactly like legit pokemon unless requested otherwise. Note that i cannot actually trade these over WIFI as i do not have a ds with a working L Button. I can however PM the code to anyone who has an action replay. if this is the case, i will post it as a mystery gift Pokemon

I need the event Arceus pkm file and the pickachu coloured pichu pkm file. Cheers. EDIT: I solved everything, converted save, tweaked no$gba and now i'm playing heartgold on no$gba, which supports AR codes fully. Just did the arceus, celebi and pichu events... awesome...especially the arceus event, best event ever! -
Alright, so the title says it all. I am wondering how one brings a pokemon file from the gameboy to the computer to check if it is legit. We have access to the R4....just kind of lost on how to get the pokemon out of the game and onto the computer. Any help clarifying this will be greatly appreciated. -
Hey all. I've run Pokésav HGSS through AppLocale. The JAP characters show up, but I can't open the savefile. Whenever I try, it gives me an error. But when I run it through Pokésav HGSS w/o AppLocale, the save opens fine... Any suggestions? I know this issue has come up with some people before, but with the DPPt versions of Pokésav... so recently i've been trying to make use of the legality checker, but i'm having some problems in doing so. when i get the file from my rom, it's as a .sav file which opens perfectly in pokesav. however to use the legality checker, the file needs a .pkm extension. how exactly do i go about "converting" it? i tried to save it as a .pkm file through pokesav directly, but .pkm isn't listed under the "save as" option. i downloaded framework, but truth be told i have no idea what i'm supposed to be doing with it.

I'm using Pokesav HGSS and when I try to open my HG save I get an error. I noticed my file is only 152KB. Is there a way to decompress it or something? Thanks.

I'm curious as is there any way to edit the pokemon on My Pokemon Ranch. You can copy the save to an SD card using Homebrew Channel and Savegame Manager.

A similar topic was back in July but its over a month old and I didn't want to get in trouble for reviving an old thread. Basically I'm looking for a completed save file of Pokemon Colosseum with all pokemon including Jirachi and Ho-Oh if possible. I need them in .gci format. I've seen the ones up on gamefaqs. One looks perfect but it is in .gcs format and despite my best attempts with a hex editor and a tool called gcs2gci I can't convert it. The other two saves there that are in .gci format are awful. Can anyone help me out with this? I'd really appreciate any help. Thank you.

I put my sav file into pokesav and it wont load my details properly, it just comes up with all blanks, and once i make changed and save it, it wont load in my game the file im using is 521kb, saved directly from my game, how do i get it to work with pokesav? i heard you had to "convert" your game save file somehow but i dont know where/what to convert it into

Hmm I don't know if this really count as a request, but does anyone have a PKMN file for a Latias that can pass the Vs. Recorder checking system and looks legal? I don't think this requires my in-game info since it can count as a Pokemon I Pal Parked. I would prefer it if it was this type of Latias Latias @ Life Orb Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Recover - Surf - Draco Meteor With great IVs and so. I have Pokesav and I used it but it was mostly to make bred Pokemons. I never tried it for Pal Parked Pokemnos so I wouldn't know how to make them legit. I just need the PKMN file since I can do the rest myself. Thanks.
