    actually, i have already accessed the Resort Area, but not the Ribbon Building ========= yeah, thanks for this. it looks like that i'll have to win two contests only 'coz today i got another one from that ribbon girl in Sunyshore. :grog:

    I need an advice. Where and how can I get at least 10 ribbons to one of my pokemon? What do you recommend? I have acquired the following, are there any other ways other than these: - Ribbon Girl in Sunyshore (1 each day) - Beating the Elite Four (I got 1) - Effort Ribbon in Sunyshore - Footprint Ribbon - Beating the Battle Tower Tycoon (got 2 ribbons for 50 game-winning streak) Thanks

    actually, it's not a gold trophy yet, just a silver trophy, but I received a gold print or something(?). Yeah, it looks like that the game was programmed to use Ice Beam once they are facing a dragon type pokemon, that's why i brought in scizor, after any failed attack of Garchomp, i would immediately swith-in scizor , and bingo, the ice beam/blizzard or any ice attack would hit scizor, naturally, he would resist that, and go on with the sweep, hahaha.

    Whew! what a fight! I've beaten Palmer (at the Battle Tower) for the second time. My team: - Garchomp @ Choice Band (lead) - Flygon @ leftovers - Scizor @ Life Orb Palmer's: - Regigigas @ ??? - Heatran @ Focus Sash - Cresselia @ Leftovers I now have a Gold in Battle Tower I just started at the Castle (first 7 battles cleared)

    WoooTTT!!! I just captured another shiny!!! from the Trophy Garden, yesssss!!!! Thanks, Mr. Becklot!!! now i've got two, my shiny geoguy & staravia (i named it "sparkle", the geoguy's name is "nugget") cool!!!

    yup, i love calling pokemon by "names" anyway, can you confirm about the availability of trapinch or vibrava in Platinum (Route 228). i'm really getting tired of fighting/seeing those pokemon that i mentioned

    thanks for the confirmation. however, what really makes me feel suspicious that trapinch/vibrava is not catchable in Platinum is that according to Serebii's pokedex, "Trapinch: Game-Platinum; Rarity-None; Location-Trade from D/P" And i have been trying for two days now (each about 3 hours of PokeRadaring in R228), but without success of encountering either trapinch or vibrava. i get tired of fighting the cactus guy, hippos, ground moles & rhyhorn :mad: maybe, my effort (and luck) is still not enough.

    for me, as a new pokemon gamer (i started only on Pearl), i find Platinum alright and the improvements are noticeable. my only disappointment ('though i'm not 100% sure, hope that someone would confirm this) is that trapinch/vibrava is NOT obtainable in Platinum (trade is really not an option for me ) but over-all, i really find the game cool, especially the Battle Frontier, the Battle Recorder, the Torn World and the side quests, all of those I consider great.

    Yes, definitely i'll buy. but maybe, i'll keep it untouched 'coz i'll be using my R4 and play with the ROM version first

    Yeah, great help especially for me being a noob. thanks Wraith personally, i always consider empoleon, vaporeon, gyarados and starmie for water-types.

    i'm naming my pokemon in "Tagalog", Philippine language. if your not a native speaker, try giving names in your native tongue, it's cool

    'though i cheated on the following: - masterballs (50) - TM's - items for EV training & hold items - "evolving" scyther to scizor (since trading in my case is difficult) i still have respect with the game. i played according to the storyline, and now, i am in the Battle Frontier, training my best pokemon. As for Greencat, i can't give you any advise on how to "quit" game cheating addiction sorry.

    I really like water types, i'll go for Totodile and besides, i like pokemon that are really looking "fearsome"

    for legendary.. (great HP, and ability (better than the altered forme), yeah!) for standard.. (wow, so fast!)

    Yeah, right, some pokemon that were evolved "too early" might miss some powerful moves that could be learned only in their unevolved forms, just like Roserade. If Roselia evolve before level 43, Roserade will not learn Petal Dance and Aromatherapy. i experienced this

    Go PALKIA!!! yup, i like all of them, but Palkia is my first legendary from the 4th Gen.
