    Why is it my Deoxys did not change form after "interacting" with the meteorites at Veilstone? Is there any other procedure to do that?

    ^it would have the same effect even if it is not pure dry. actually, when it says "sour-dry poffin" both beauty & toughness will be enhanced. and those are high leveled poffins (level 32!), six to seven poffins are enough to max out "beauty". and don't forget to level up after maxing-out the beauty. if you will really go for making your own poffins, make sure that you will not feed that Feebas with poffins below level 12. if the "sheen" have maxed-out, and you haven't achieved "max beauty", there'll be no way to max it in a legit way...

    @Okami: Congrats. Now, i can throw away the thought that Feebas do not exist in that lake. And please ignore my PM (it's been in your inbox since half hour ago, lol), i'll just try my luck on finding one although i already have a bred Feebas from my shiny MILOTIC.

    I agree with both of you, but at least, in breeding, you are "seeing" results, unwanted or not, and just repeat the process until you get satisfied. And satisfaction will be totally dependent on yourself. Unlike trying to locate & catch Feebas, it's like facing a "blank wall" :frown: It would be easier if catching Feebas requires surfing only, the tedious part there is that you have to surf & use fishing rod, throw it at least 5 to 6 times in each tile :mad:

    i just bred a Feebas from my shiny Japan Event MILOTIC, however, i do not feel any satisfaction after doing that.. Locating and catching Feebas is a real challenge, and you know how you feel after overcoming a challenge, isn't it great? So, i'm wondering why some others resort to hacking, trading or migrating and get contented? Anyway, i respect their opinions, but for me, I will still try my best luck for that "fugly" muddy "carp! Conclusively, hunting Feebas within the game is a real big challenge.

    yeah, just keep on running/walking and eventually, you will see "flashing" spots in the map, proceed to that location and do that "screen tapping" thing I love Platinum, yeah! I've got a chandelier last night! hahaha! for 120,000, cool! Cynthia always visits me, well, I have a crush on this lady, hahaha!!!

    I love this one: i am now using it as my lead in the in-game, the original togepi egg from Cynthia and this also: this guy swept my Battle Tower Team (Garchomp, Flygon & Scizor!) all in one hit

    Nintendo made Feebas hard to "locate" maybe due to the fact that Milotic is considered by many to be the most beautiful pokemon. In fact, to evolve Feebas, you need you max it's beauty.

    To add in all the important points that pokemonfan had shared, please note that your rival can be battled weekly (he is standing at the entrance of the Gym Leaders/Trainer's Room in the Survival Area) with high-level pokemon too. Moreover, there are Trainer's at the Pokemon Centers that could be battled everyday as well, 'though their pokemon are at a fixed level. Whew! I love Platinum!
