  4. Now it's better your pokemon were not over-leveled when they fought the "steel leader". Nice one PF
  5. Pokemon caught or available only at a certain level can get moves that are below their current level through the Move Tutor guy in Pastoria City. As for the number of steps for hatching, I have the same question also. BTW, it looks like that this topic should be moved to Small Help Section.
  6. ^ yeah, that's why it's better to use dusk balls in catching Heatran, cause that "lava monster" is inside the cave, be it night or day, dusk balls will still have 4x catch rate
  7. ^have you been trying the SR technique? i mean you can bring about 30 dusk balls, if you run out of pokeballs, then, soft reset your DS and yeah, you need repels too... uhhm, catching heatran is expensive, isn't it? lol anyway, good luck then.
  8. ^been telling you, Dusk balls have higher catch rate than Ultra Balls when you are inside caves or during night time (even if you are outside caves) give dusk ball a try
  9. what i mean is that... that "event Regigigas" is in Level 100. lol and BTW, i have no problem in getting that "event Regigigas" directly from PP event download. i use pokesav i believe you have to catch all 493 instead of 483
  10. ^Dusk Balls are better than Ultra Balls in catching Heatran don;t forget to bring some too, and good luck For me, the hardest pokemon to catch is Beldum. Others may not find it hard, but a pokemon with such a semi-insane catch rate and "recoil effect" is truly very hard to catch.
  11. Please add me, Platinum FC: 3695 6614 4344 Name: jieduck
  12. ^that's the way to get the 3 Regis, you must have the "Event Level 100 Regigigas" in your party to trigger the event for the 3 Regis. And after you caught the 3 Regis (ensure that they are in your party), you can then proceed to Snowpoint City Temple and catch Level 1 Regigigas. Thus, you will have 3 Regis + Level 100 Regigigas + Level 1 Regigigas in Platinum
  13. Finally, my first ever level 100 pokemon (legitimately leveled, without the help of any external interference or rare candies) in Platinum is my Latios he's EV-trained too I'm now training my Lapras, currently at level 91 (he's already EV-trained)
  14. i do not hate any pokemon, but at least, i "least-liked" some. and the "most" least liked pokemon for me are: [sprite]412[/sprite][sprite]265[/sprite][sprite]415[/sprite] they keep on appearing in my honey trees, always spoiling my munchlux hunting! so as with combee (male) & that "worm"!
  15. for me, based on looks, my favorites are: [sprite]393[/sprite] & [sprite]395[/sprite] piplup=cute empoleon=elegant reminds me of the battle between those two, i couldn't remember which movie was that, i think in "The Rise of Darkrai"?
  16. I will choose Palkia. I dunno, but that two-legged Dragon is more appealing to me than the other two. I'm an avid Pearl Fan, that could be the reason
  17. My Lapras is now at Level 89 and as Wraith said, this one is a monster! I spared him from being an HM slave, he is now one of my top favorites, i love his water absorb ability and in-game-Gyarados is no match to his thunder bolt So far, I am still sticking to my previous HM slaves: Bibarel & Tropius And since i've got two(2) "hacked" Mews from GTS recently, i might just use those Mews as my HM slaves! LOLZ!
  18. My favorite Dragon Types are: [sprite]445[/sprite][sprite]373[/sprite][sprite]330[/sprite][sprite]149[/sprite][sprite]381[/sprite][sprite]484[/sprite]
  19. it will be, PF. my shiny geoguy is now a shiny graveler and my shiny staravia is now a shiny staraptor Haven't catch/encounter any shiny since then wow! congrats. it will soon be a shiny mightyena :grog:
  20. another cool battle from two of the best battlers and i really enjoyed reading your war story, wraith. hope to learn more from you
  21. ^congrats! last night, i gave a shot with my new team (Garchomp, Scizor, Latios) with the same movesets as posted earlier, and i took a rest and will continue tonight. I'm on a 42-winning-game-streak tonight's battle will be tougher with Palmer's Regigigas, Cresselia & Heatran
  22. i just finished EV-training my LAPRAS, and now, i'll train him to the highest level. currently, he is at level 90. As PF said, I also want to experience the joy of having a level 100 pokemon out of legitimate training, (without using rare candies and other "external" means) through in-game battling EXP
  23. And oh, I forgot, I have a Level 100 Regigigas
  24. The moveset given to my Chomp has been doin' well as my Lead, effectively encountering most leads in the Battle Tower up to 51-streak, but that was before when I had a Flygon with Fire Blast. But since Flygon is not around anymore and there is Latios with Surf, i'll give Fire Blast to Chomp in favor of Physical Aqua Tail. Actually, my strategy in Battle Tower does not require frequent switch-in and out for my Scizor that's why X-scissor is there. It's a very powerful STAB move for him. My Team is weak to Ice even before Flygon was there. I just "elevated" my Flygon to a certain degree since I am sure that you know the slight difference (statwise) between Flygon and Latios. in fact, Flygon is 4x weaker in Ice, while Latios is 2x weaker. That is why I opted to change Flygon and include Latios to my Team.
