  1. Hmm the problem might be shineness. Did you use the PIDIV generator for shinies? Or you just ticked the Shiny box ? Also it would be great if you could upload the shiny pokes so i can fix them.
  2. Here's the highest IVs you can get for Hidden Power fighting : 31/31/30/30/30/30 Swampert can hurt Shedinja with stone edge, but not many use it so it's fine.
  3. Jolteon has a weak ATK, so it's much more useful to replace double kick with something like Hidden power Ice, or Shadow Ball. Hidden power Ice and Thunderbolt has always been a good combination. As for Starmie, you could try using Grass Knot instead of Thunderbolt to counter the likes of Swampert.
  4. It's ok, but please next time use this thread : http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2640 HeartGold Ho-Oh : It will be in the 25th slot of BOX 3. I caught it with with a Timer ball btw.
  5. Make sure to teach Torterra Leech Seed and Wood Hammer.
  6. It doesn't matter, Akothegreat's statement confirms Pokesav can neither read nor generate more than 1 roaming pokemon, I've also tested using 2 roaming pokemon, and indeed, only 1 poke shows up in the map. This issue will remain unsolved unless COM addresses it directly. I don't know if this applies to Pokesav HGSS though.
  7. You need to be more specific. Different levels and kinds of constraints need to be respected for your Pokemon to be legal. Jirachi can only be obtained through event, Rotom can't be caught outside Rotom's Room, Arceus can only be caught in Hall or Origin, Shedinja can't have Agility and Swords Dance at the same time, etc.

  9. You want to follow Randomspot555 and Wraith89 pieces of advice, Using Focus Sash and pkmn that can get rid of Shedinja's counters and set up Rain Dance or Sunny day greatly helps it eliminate its biggest threats. To answer your question, try teaching Shedinja X-scissor and Protect as well, as for the held item, Focus Sash is a good choice, it may not protect Shedinja from Status changing attacks like Lum berry does, but it saves it from Weather effects like Sandstorm and supereffective attacks. X-Scissor is TM81, Protect is TM17. Although Shadow Claw is more powerful, Shadow Sneak allows Shedinja to always move first. Sucker Punch does the same but it's not a STAB move since its type is dark but can help you against Normal type or another Shedinja. Protect can be removed/added depending on how you plan to use Shedinja : if you plan to use a lock-down strategy, keep Shedinja hidden until you fully identify an opposing pkmn moveset, and use it accordingly. Protect is useful in this case. Or you can just switch in Shedinja anytime to cripple an opponent with Will-O-Wisp or Toxic and then switch out. Aerial Ace can be a good choice too, it may not give you a bonus like X-Scissor does but it will never miss your target. This is particularly useful against pkmn with high evasiveness. I've faced a Shedinja in the Battle Hall and it had Aerial Ace. Not much to tell about EVs, you should know by now that it is required to equally invest in both Attack and Speed. So here are our best options : Shedinja @ Focus Sash / Lum berry , 252 ATK&SPE, and 4 for DEF or SPD moves : - Protect / Will-O-Wisp / Toxic - X-Scissor / Aerial Ace - Shadow Sneak / Sucker Punch - Swords Dance Note : It is also possible to use both Protect and a status modifying move in the same moveset.
  10. This is the official page of Pokestock, the "pokemon management tool" that allows you to edit pokemon for both GBA and DS games : http://advanceworld.hp.infoseek.co.jp/PokeStock/ And this is the latest version (11.5) : http://u1.getuploader.com/PokeStock/download/37/PokeStockver11_5.zip Ask someone who can read Japanese like Guested, maybe he could retrieve some information about that editor (and how to download it >.>). But honestly i think the only way to convert GBA pkmn to DS is simply to migrate them. The pokemon structures are different in each game (even between FRLG and RSE). For example, GBA games use a 80/100 byte structure for pokemon data, and DS games use 136/236 byte structure. Not to mention the way they are stored in boxes/party slots. I remember Codemonkey85 tried to understand how the GBA save file algorithm is determined, as well as the offsets of the stored pkmn. But i don't know where he got with his research.

    Best Wishes

Merry christmas to all Boxing day was intense btw.
  12. You are probably using the patch containing katakana names for pkmn, instead of english names.
  13. Can you tell me which pokemon ? if its grayed out, i'm sure its a genderless one (Ditto, porygon, etc.)
  14. @Rafi_boi_101 Here are the AR codes for your 4 pkmn, its for Platinum and they will replace your party slot from 1 to 4 respectively: Infernape : Pikachu: Sceptile: Yanmega: @chaos_scrap Gallade (will replace 5th slot of party, code for Platinum) All codes were tested with the game and the legality checker. @Ray_ND, i can give you a code, but which game you want your scizor for?
  15. In the early battle frontier matches (21 assuming you kept winning), your Hitmonchan might survive especially if it has Iron fist, But it will definitely struggle when facing most OU pkmn, so i recommand replacing it with better fighting pkmn, like Machamp or Medicham. Shedinja CAN learn swords dance, all you need to do is follow these easy steps : 1. Make sure you have an empty space in your party. 2. Level up Nincada to leve 25 and evolve it. 3. Teach Ninjask Swords Dance. The resulting Shedinja will have a duplicate of Ninjask's moveset. This can be applied to any move Ninjask learns through leveling up (slash, agility, etc.).
  16. He means you should edit your save file directly to have the roaming pokemon immediately written without having to use an AR code.
  17. I've already played this game and unlocked every dungeon, with the last one being a pain in the ass with its 99 floors and strong opponents. However i strongly recommend this game. I've enjoyed it to the last mission and the reason many people get bored of the redundant explorations, is because some extra dungeons need different jobs to unlock them, which require a lot of patience, especially if there is a legendary pokemon you want to recruit. The storyline is amazing and it finds continuation in special episode 5. The sprites animation are well executed and the environment visuals are magnificient. There are two things that might convince pokefans not to play this game: The amount of items you have to collect( There are 1351 items in total, and some of them cannot be obtained except under special conditions) and the need to keep feeding your hero (starter), otherwise he will pass out and get ejected from the dungeon. People who are used to playing the core games (Red,Blue,Silver, etc.) know they don't have to deal with the hunger factor, hence they'll probably get bored quickly of wasting time finding food for filling their hero's belly, unless they want to use AR codes. But still this is a Nintendo game, and Nintendo always make sure to give the best presentation to a game and to keep it entertaining for all ages. Unfortunately this game has too many challenges and the mission structures and requirements are enough to make the impatient and the quick-tempered regret having bought it. Finally, i'd say if you really want to play this game, you have to decide whether you want to be patient enough to take the challenge or if you think you won't be able to get over your frustration, because this game is way harder than the GameFreak ones.
  18. You've changed the OT gender (original trainer). Not surprising why it crashed your game. What you need to do is click on "Generate" right above the PID\IV button, and choose the gender then export the code.
  19. 2. Power swap / Guard swap ? If you could rewrite the 2nd question in proper ENGLISH, then maybe we could understand a little better.
  20. Pirate_King, which game are you requesting the pkm for ?
  21. I see, the ROM crashed because the emulator's startup is set on GBA bios (Nintendo logo). This happens with bad ROMs. Anyway, Jayc's example has it fixed so it should work.
  22. OMG... Please use spoilers MastaAura : [ spoiler ] [ /spoiler]
  23. You must "save Options" when you change the control keys for No$GBA to remember. Try this example and see if everything works fine. No$GBAfixed.rar
