  1. Most websites hate Internet Explorer 7/8 because of this : http://acid3.acidtests.org/ Chrome scores 100 in the acid3 test while Firefox 3.6 gets 94. If you use IE for that test, you will get 20 to 50, which clearly shows IE releases don't support several important plateforms. But the latest Internet explorer developer preview shows notable progress, especially for its support of HTML5.
  2. One of the reasons Registeel is not used in OU is because he is outclassed by Skarmory as a physical wall, who has the precious advantage of having a recovery move, access to Whirlwind and a Ground immunity. That pretty much convinces many people to use Skarmory instead. As for Rhyperior, yes he has Solid Rock, which is a great ability. but the fact that he's slow, has a 4x weakness to both Water and Grass (3% with Solid Rock), weak to several priority moves and a 45 base Spdef relegated him to UU, where he is more comfortable. And even in UU he's not popular... But building a team focusing on giving him all the necessary support to reach his maximum potential is possible. Some good partners would be Modest Zapdos, who counters almost every Rhyperior's counters and Blissey who would absorb status-inducing moves that may target Rhyperior. Not to forget Hippowdon, one of the best leads and Sandstorm provider for Rhyperior. Adamant SubDanceRhyperior with 132HP, 192Atk, 168 Spe and 16 SpDef EVs, is the best you can provide this support for. With 404 HP, 400 Atk, 296 Def, Solid Rock, enough speed for Swampert, substitute + Sandstorm SpDef boost, Rhyperior will hit very hard. Aside from this role, Rhyperior doesn't have a lot of options, Rock Polish didn't achieve much and the bulky set is outclassed by other walls. Not to forget there is no Pokemon in OU Rhyperior can force to switch and almost all of them have at least one supereffective move to deal with him. While Rhyperior requires a lot of support to be effective, it is easier to just pick another Bulky Ground who at least isn't weak to every OU Pokemon.

  4. Any type 1 PID is valid.
  5. Sure, my FC is in my profile, see you at the wifi club.
  6. Your Dragonite is hacked because you made it a type2 Pokemon while catching him at Mt. Coronet. Pokemon in All Gen IV games must be found with type1.
  7. Sendpkm doesn't work because those are box Pokemon (136 bytes), transfer them to your Party and then reupload them with Sendpkm.

  10. I removed the space between / and spoiler, and now it works.
  11. Well the game developers decided that the 85h offset serve a new purpose in HGSS, the Eevee given by Bill has 18 too for that offset.
  12. Your Heatran's PID isn't valid because it's a method2 (type2) PID and not type1. If you wish to edit Heatran with Pokesav I would suggest using "type1" PIDs only.
  13. That was actually interesting to read.
  14. The Trash Bytes are invalid, try fixing them with the Legality checker.
  15. Hi Codr I've noticed that whenever I try to save new EV values of a given Pokemon, the old ones stay no matter how many times I save. If you have time to look into it that would be really appreciated. (:

  24. Hi, At this point of the game, I think the best HM slave would be Wooper/Quagsire, He can learn 5 of the 8 HMs. He can help you with battles as well thanks to his good typing. You can breed Lapras with Dratini to get Dragon Dance on Lapras, but I think the moves Lapras learns by leveling up, TMs and tutoring are powerful enough. One cool breeding experiment you can try early in the game, is to get Nasty Plot on Togepi, assuming you've received a female Togepi from Elm. But Most importantly you need the National Dex. So here are the steps : 1)After getting the radio card at Goldenrod City, you can switch to the top left station on Wednesday to listen to the Hoenn sound 2) Now you can find Plusle/Minun who can learn Nasty Plot and breed with Togepi. You can find them in Route 33 for example, which is between Azalea town and Union cave. 3) Level up Plusle/Minun to lvl 51 so it can learn Nasty Plot. 4) Breed Plusle/Minun with Togepi and the baby Togepi will get Nasty Plot, but not extrasensory. If I'm correct, you can't have a Togepi with both these moves anyway.
