    Can this Talking Point please stop? Game mechanic discussion happens here, and there's a number of us who do play with legit Pokemon, or people like myself who hack AND also have a number of legit.

    Did you receive the Secret Key via Mystery Gift (picked it up from the delivery man in the Pokemart) or did you hack it directly into your Key Items? If you hacked it into your items bag, it won't work.

    There's no reason it can't exist in the off-topic/debate forum. Other boards might have a different standard, but I'd hope we think our users can handle mature subjects, religious, political, or otherwise. If it becomes personal, they should be reprimanded, regardless of what the subject is. It's also not really something to worry about, since Debate seems to be relatively low traffic right now.

    You'll need a flashcart to actually back up your save file. Pokesav can also be utilized with an Action Replay, but you can only make codes to put onto your cart. Your cart's save can't be transferred to your computer. This is a very short answer to your question. I don't own a flash cart, so anyone who wants to go more in depth, feel free to.

    Announcements would be useful for updates to rules and policies for already registered users. For users before registration, a FAQ/rules on the main site can have a link near the Forums link, and maybe somewhere in the registration process.

    I'm not an AR expert, but I think he's asking why he can't use the alternate forms on Battle Tower Wi-Fi, despite having the code for alternate forms punched in. My guess would be you need both the "Use any Pokemon in Battle Tower" code and the "New forms on Wi-Fi code" activated. However, I have no idea if this would really work. The Battle Tower Wi-Fi might not be the same as regular Wi-Fi battling. Or the two codes activated simultaneously might cause the game to crash.

    In addition, there's no way to legally get Aqua Jet and Belly Drum on the same Marill. You're free to trade for hacks here, but just thought I'd let you know.

    He's never made a thread, per say. But he's posted a lot in each Pokemon thread. The current one is here. I just linked to the first page he posted on. His SA name is Doug Dinsdale. Something Awful's forums are a one-time fee to post in (and another one-time fee for extra features, like search). But they are free to browse. You just have to put up with some annoying advertisements. He also made a handful of posts in this thread here. Not sure if he posted anything beyond that page. I have some tidbits that he's posted throughout the past couple threads somewhere in Serebii. I'll see if I can dig that up. He also did an "event" giveaway. He randomly captured a bunch of Pokemon with his OT/ID#, and nicknamed them "Dinsdale." I got an Onix.

    Nor have I. But it's not really a perk that just water Pokemon get (RestTalk). Now if it can use Wish, Recover, or other similar HP recovering moves, then I'd say "Oh, it can heal itself too." I'd say Suicune is the only viable RestTalker. Everyone else has better things to do. Vaporeon can Wishpass, Swampert can actually do damage and attack, and Tentacruel needs to stay awake so it can spin away those rocks. The other 3 you listed, as you pointed out, are usually much better off playing offense than defense. Though a little bit of bulk can help them out greatly.

    Swampert can't heal itself outside of Rest/Talk, which most Pokes get. It does have Refresh, which can remove status. Suicune doesn't even get Refresh. Vaporeon is by far the best healer. It absorbs water moves with it's ability, can Wish(pass) and is bulky enough not to care about Toxic/Will O Wisp damage for at least a few turns.
