  1. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?14379-READ-BEFORE-POSTING
  2. There are cases where Pokemon from older games retain the values from those older games.
  3. This has been suggested before and is on the list of things to add. It's only possible when a save file is loaded, of course.
  4. Download beta 29.
  5. This is fixed in beta 29 thanks to Dark_by_design's willingness to test.
  6. Redownload beta 29 if you can't run it on Windows XP. There was also a second update done to fix filenames starting with 16 "F"s if the Pokemon has no PID. (This wrote the Pokemon data wrong in the file as well.) 3.0.0b29 ADDED: Dragging/dropping is now possible from PokeGen to folders to create .pkm files. In addition, it's also possible between instances of PokeGen. FIXED: Tooltips wouldn't display if balloon-style tooltips are disabled. (Found by "sdfghjklkjhgfds sdfghjiuy" ...) FIXED: A rounding issue was causing stats to occasionally be off by 1 point. (This only affects the stats displayed in PokeGen and the stats given to party Pokémon. Depositing into the PC or generating a Pokémon for the PC causes all stats to be recalculated by the game to the proper values.) (Found by Anveena.) FIXED: The update system wasn't processing the download data properly in certain cases. This could cause updates to not be recognized or not be downloaded. (Found by Dark_by_design.) FIXED: Loading a save file from the command line or by dragging the file onto the executable would cause the list of box numbers on the main dialog to not have a selection. This was causing issues with viewing/setting data, and possibly other things. FIXED: Dragging a Pokémon from the party to a box slot where a Pokémon already existed would cause the box Pokémon to disappear. (Found by LazurWulf.) FIXED: In rare cases, dragging non-file objects onto PokeGen could cause errors. FIXED: There was a minor memory leak related to Pokémon icons.
  7. The program has help built into it for a reason. Time was spent to put it there for a reason. Try using it before you expect others to do even MORE work for you. Aside from the fact that it explains why the escape sequences are hidden, you might also try reading the forum sticky.
  8. i need speaking english good because not doing so is annoying... so how can i get these people to learn so i don't have to read their stupidity.
  9. Any behavior that isn't correct is a huge problem to me. Especially ones that interfere with the operation of the program in general.
  10. I'm pretty sure the issue has to do with ISP/router/TCP configuration. If I'm right, the case where this actually becomes a problem is extremely rare.
  11. The 0.0.0 definitely suggests a bug with the program. I'll PM you.
  12. It's possible that it's a bug, however, I'd check to see if you have any software blocking PokeGen from connecting to projectpokemon.org. Attempting to diagnose a bug would be pretty difficult in this situation without extensive help on your part. The newest version's link is always available here.
  13. This is what happens when you generate Pokemon for the PC and not the party.

Since you've now gotten childish, you get a closed thread. I did a search just to make sure I wasn't making myself look stupid. The first thread I clicked, as is usually the case, had the answer. Isn't that incredible?

We're still waiting for you to search.

    I make vegetable Pokemon. They're #00FF00.
  17. I think this could possibly be one of the worst forums ever to try to discuss something intellectually challenging. On the topic, however, I like how everyone is making the assumption that entry into a previous point in time must mean you're still in the same universe and therefore will affect future events.
  18. It would've helped if it was mentioned that the Pokemon was being generated for the PC instead of the party. I'm experiencing the same thing when generating a PC Pokemon, since the game recalculates the stats. Edit: This was caused by a rounding issue and has been fixed for beta 29. For the record, it was giving Reshiram a stat of 125.99999666213989, which was then truncated to 125. Floating point numbers are great.
  19. I asked for verification of more than that. Even better, upload a .pkm file of it.
  20. Just as a note, and I feel like this has been covered already elsewhere, if you want to use the name "PokeGen", just make sure it's clear that it wasn't made by me.
  21. "SONAR is known for its false positives. Many vendors of legitimate software complain that their products are quarantined by this feature." I can't do anything about software that tries to block users from using their PCs.
  22. I tested and got identical results in-game compared to PokeGen. (As in PokeGen produced 125 along with the game.) Can you verify that you did in fact make a L50 Reshiram with a Modest nature, 31 attack IV, and 0 attack EV?
  23. For the sake of consistency, it does need something like this.
  24. As was posted in the other thread, this code has issues. (Not Bond's fault. It was mine.) The latest beta of PokeGen now produces a fully customizable Pokedex code that works on the AR and has no issues that I've found.
  25. I only said the utilization of multiple cores could be done. I didn't say I'm going to. I can almost guarantee that I won't. I hate the PID finder and everything it represents. (Since it's sort of relevant, the PID finder already runs on a separate core from the main window as is necessary to provide visual updates during the search process without slowing it down.) As for multiple results... I still don't see the point. If you want a more varied PID, change the IV parameters or any other parameters. That's what they're there for. Edit: Bond697 has the ability to contribute to PokeGen's code. You can always try getting him to add the things you want, but good luck!
