  1. Nicknames have limits. Only use 10 characters for Pokemon names and 7 for trainer names. PokeGen will do the rest.
  2. This is not a bug. Names need to end in 0xFFFF.
  3. Every single time I see one of these threads asking for help, I do a search and find the answer in the first damn link I click. Stop being LAZY.
  4. How does someone do that without doing all the work for you? You're not giving someone a starting point. You're not asking questions. You just want it done, which is equivalent to begging. Since you obviously misinterpreted my last post, let me make it clear that the post wasn't made in an attempt to elicit negative emotions from you.
  5. Instead of asking for someone else to do the work for you, why don't you try to understand it yourself and ask questions specific to what you don't understand? If you don't understand ANY of it, you probably shouldn't be trying to do it anyway.
  6. I hadn't planned on including a Korean translation. Getting the data for generation 4 games (and possibly even 5) would be too annoying, if not impossible, for me to do, considering I don't know the language at all. I don't want to put in the effort to provide the necessary information to allow someone else to gather that data either. (It needs to be in the right order and it needs extra stuff added to it that wouldn't be expected.) Given this, your only option is to have a partial translation that doesn't include the lists, but I'm never going to publicly release it that way.
  7. Splitting the code and doing one segment of it at a time will work. You just can't view the Pokedex until the full code has been used. Activate a segment > load the game > save > repeat until the full code has been entered. AR limitations are great.
  8. Funny. I did a single search on these forums and the FIRST thread I clicked, on the 2nd page of the results of "Gracidea", resulted in an answer that would've prevented this thread. You obviously didn't put much effort into it at all.
  9. There is nothing missing, and hence this isn't a bug. You just don't know what you're doing. No, I'm not giving you a direct answer because it's indescribably simple to not only experiment and get the answers yourself, but to read the forums.
  10. This technically isn't a bug. PGT/PCD support is minimal and is even being removed in the next release. PokeGen isn't currently meant for those files.
  11. Why do you care about valid/invalid PIDs? The game doesn't care.
  12. Bond pointed out that opening the combobox, typing in a partial name, and pressing enter will clear the editbox. If this is what you meant, you severely failed at detail, because opening the combobox prior to typing isn't something everyone just automatically does. That isn't a bug. Edit: I just remembered that you mentioned it only does that for the ability combobox, which you seem to be correct with. (Now that I've got real information to actually produce the issue...) I don't have an explanation for that part.
  13. It does nothing. Even on XP.
  14. This doesn't happen for me. Enter does absolutely nothing.

    I'm still waiting.
  16. If there's no thread (resolved or unresolved) in the bugs section, make it if you think it's appropriate.
  17. You might try reading tooltips before making such claims. The happiness tooltip, since I'm sure I have to specifically say which.

So how about an example of how you open and read the contents of a file in C#?
  19. You're doing something wrong.
  20. That was a lack of detail checking on my part. (And a lack of reading.) There's definitely something going wrong, and I'm seeing it now as well, now that I know what I'm looking for, specifically.
  21. Oh... .mew and .groudon files... I guess PokeGen is missing those. I'll have to adjust my priority list.
  22. What version of the program are you using? I'm seeing no problem in the beta. Edit: Nevermind, I'm seeing no problem with either. Could you provide a .pkm file that's causing this to occur? Or is it just ALL of the ones you try?
  23. I don't consider bug reports annoying at all if they're valid. I see what you're saying now though, I'll check when I get a chance and edit this post with the results.
  24. There's an issue that causes Pokemon dragged into the boxes to always be placed into box 1, but aside from that, nothing else has been reported. I don't see how this could even be doing what you're claiming if you're using the same .pkm file when doing both things.
