  1. Just how many threads did you click? Are you familiar with the way forums are typically organized?
  2. Target game option. Use it properly.
  3. Those absolutely do bad stuff. They write the same value to all of the Pokedex data, which isn't how it works. You're correct in that using PokeGen is the only option for valid data.

That's easy to say when you're not doing the work!

Let's get this back to the top. I'm sure if I stickied it, it'd get looked at even less.
  6. Then you didn't have the right value as 0, or you didn't actually update the Pokemon in your game.
  7. Did you even read what I posted...?
  8. That code is for Black, not White. It's also only the code for a single Pokemon. Have you saved your game after using that code? If so, you may be able to fix it by generating codes for Pokemon in box 12, slot 30, and box 13, slot 1. As in PROPER codes for WHITE, not BLACK. You'd need the codes for both of those Pokemon to be enabled at the same time for it to work.
  9. The tooltip wasn't made as clear as it should have been regarding this. As long as the right value is 0 and the left is non-zero, it'll produce the result you want.
  10. Are you even using the latest version?
  11. You need to provide a more clear example, with detail, of what you're doing to produce this problem. If you can't even reproduce it yourself, it's possibly not going to be easy for me to do so.

24 hours on a weekend and 6 votes. Sigh.
  13. What do you mean by "put in"? Do you have the unedited data from directly after Poketransferring? I don't want something that you've modified. Edit: Nevermind, it's not needed. The value will be available in the next release, but I'm pretty sure your .pkm file is wrong, even with the 2007 "correction". Edit 2: Nevermind again, no additional location value is necessary. Too much confusion.
  14. Can you upload the .pkm file? Before PokeGen touches it, that is.

I'm personally leaning toward Mystery Gift editing. I have a feeling I'm the one that's going to have to decide, because people don't really seem to watch the forums very much. Edit: Item editing isn't that much to add, really. I may just do both, but I obviously need one to start with.

Can you elaborate on this? I don't use it, and never have. Are you saying you'd prefer it even if I added support? (If his were more functional, I mean.)

I think I was vaguely aware that Pokesav's had problems, but I didn't know for sure. That's sad, especially after this much time and it being such a simple problem. I think Grovyle did a good enough job with his. Mine would be different, but I'm not sure there's much to improve upon.

The same can be said of Pokesav for items. My point is that I'm betting people use Pokesav for the Mystery Gift portion too, despite Grovyle's program existing.

Doesn't the Black/White one also have Mystery Gift support...? I know generation 4 does. Anything that's added would get added to the code generator, if applicable.
  20. The updates to fix language display are almost done, and I want to make sure I don't feel like I'm spending time on something new for nothing. Edit: Fail poll typo that can't even be fixed as far as I can tell.
  21. Thanks for clearing that up.

    Translations

For those that have translated, or are capable of translating, keep in mind that when I change tooltips or other things, I have no accurate means of translating those myself in order to properly update all the languages. Therefore I simply overwrite other languages' strings with English changes until someone gets around to updating it for me. Keep an eye out for such changes with each program update. Thanks!
  23. 3.0.0b32 FIXED: The Pokérus was previously being written as 0, 0x10, or 0x01, which is incorrect. You can now specify the upper value and duration of the Pokérus. This also means these values will be perfectly retained when loading existing Pokémon. (Thanks to Bond697/Mat and xfr for making the information gathering process for this change easier.)
  24. The PID determines which ability is given to the Pokemon upon evolving. Using the PID Finder with the target game set appropriately will yield one that does what you want.
  25. Ignoring the Dream World ability thing that has nothing to do with a problem in PokeGen, I'll comment on the capitalization. I have very limited experience with the online battling stuff, and don't particularly care to deal with setting up my router in order to test it. (It's not a matter of laziness, there are issues with my ISP at the moment.) If you or someone else can provide screenshots/pictures, that would help. Also, two .pkm files that represent the problem and the normal case would be useful. However, I'm skeptical that there's any sort of problem in the Pokemon data.
