    Pokegen

It's manual, but that may change with the next release, or soon after that.
  2. Are you adding a new Party Pokemon without increasing the party size?
  3. Or have some basic knowledge of what happens during the actual Poketransfer process. KazoWAR's program is absolutely not a necessity.
  4. ...you were comparing Shitsav PIDs (generation 4) to PokeGen in Black/White mode PIDs (generation 5)...
  5. You know, I could just say "Guess what? 0xFFFF has been encountered. The rest really, REALLY doesn't matter." (Because it doesn't. However, at least this has slightly more merit than the whole PID garbage.) Low-value characters in generation 4 ARE valid characters. Perhaps OCD.exe is the issue. Edit: There was a problem with the way they were being written. It'll be fixed.
  6. Leave the PID finder alone. I hate it. I might save this one for Bond697. He needs some practice. Edit: This is actually a result of the other issue that you linked. The PIDs are correct, the display of the ability value is simply wrong.
  7. I noticed this a while ago and forgot about it. It's applicable to all combobox controls.
  8. I was aware of this one. Edit: It's already been fixed as well. I believe we discussed this on IRC as I can't find any sign of where I know I told you what the actual problem was. (It's a display issue only. The PIDs are correct.)
  9. I just saw the equivalent of: ...and it reminded me of when I had just started programming.
  10. I hope it's done that badly because of limitations of the language. I doubt that's the case though.
  11. It does work. It abides by the AR code formats. It's not my fault the hardware is so limited. There is a way to shorten the codes, but whether or not it'll be enough, I don't know. I also can't say when that'll be done. Also, I'll pretend that "legality" bs doesn't exist in your post.
  12. Have fun maintaining an annoying list of data just to allow utter idiots to get Pokemon working online.
  13. You're correct, and I wasn't aware of this.
  14. If I have to further explain this, you're on your own. I've done way more than I should have to already. What's even better is the fact that you can't use the codes regardless because you only have an AR with no save file editing capability (Which you're already aware of.), yet you're still asking things like this. Then you have the audacity to start to get hostile with me when you're the one wasting others' time by not spending your own to figure out your OWN problem. (Note: If you REALLY think that the Pokedex code length is determined by the currently selected Pokemon in the main dialog or something [wtF?], why not deselect one and see if the code length changes? Oh wait, that'd mean helping yourself.)
  15. Uh... I have no idea why you'd think it works that way. There's a whole dialog for the Pokedex that makes it clear how it works. The dialog also has some buttons on it, with very clear labels, that accomplish a particular task with a single click. Yes, I'm aware of the patheticness of the AR hardware. The only option at this point is to use a save file, unless you have enough knowledge of AR code structure to fix the code yourself.
  16. http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=13204&system=DS&locale=en_US What makes you think the Pokedex data is the issue here? I know the short codes floating around fill the data improperly, but I'd be surprised if that's actually stopping internet battles. Also, I filled my Pokedex with PokeGen (Since, you know, PokeGen does it properly.) and was able to do a random battle just fine.
  17. Support of generation 3 was never good, but it did exist toward the beginning of this program becoming public. Searching can probably give you a link to it. Don't ask me for one.
  18. This is taking it a bit far. The amount of data I'd have to gather and maintain to do this is unacceptable. The program already makes the whole process pathetically easy, yet people still mess it up. I'm not going to further accomodate stupidity.
  19. It'd take almost no effort for you to find an answer to questions here.
  20. Yes, but it most likely wouldn't be wrong in a way that would cause the AR to freeze. One more thing you might want to try is removing all of the lines (they're only at the beginning) that don't start with 0, 1, or 2. However, keep the first (starting with 9) line and the very last (starting with D2).
  21. The first line of all codes generated by PokeGen is the button code. The last line of all PokeGen codes is a closure kind of thing. Split the Pokedex code up into at least 3 segments and place each segment between copies of those two lines. I don't know if that'll solve the problem of freezing though.
  22. It doesn't sound like it's going to matter, but did you actually apply the button activator line to each one? If you didn't, they're just going to be writing non-stop from the second the game ROM is loaded, which can cause problems.
