  1. The SAV file takes that long? That's..... ridiculous. I would understand a ROM taking that long, but that's a very long time for a sav. Well, your error from before was probably that the flashcart isn't capable of communicating with the Wii. Only a few are (Cyclo, etc). If you can edit the sav file on your retail cart, then that will most assuredly work for you.
  2. Yes, that's correct. That should work. What flashcart are you using, though? If it's the Cyclo, there shouldn't be a connection problem if you're using somewhat recent firmware. Also, if you have a EZ 3in1 slot 2 flash device as well, there are alternatives to getting your sav file than using Sav Sender. But if Sav Sender works, great. Your secret ID can be seen in Pokesav, or on any pokemon caught by that OT when viewed in Pokesav/Pokegen/whatever.
  3. If you can edit a sav file on a retail copy of the game, or on a flash cart... I'm pretty sure it will work if you make the Trainer ID, name and SID identical to the original game. From your description, I don't really understand how you're trying connect to your wii. You're not trying to do it WITH your computer, are you?
  4. I'd be willing to bet we'll see an Electric-Bug pairing with this new Dentula pokemon that was revealed. The first part of its name means electricity and the second is part of tarantula. Also, I'd be willing to bet that the English name will end up being Electula... the play on words is just... too perfect of a match.
  5. 98% sure this is incorrect, and the data is stored in the sav file. What makes you think the whole pokemon is stored in the Walker?
  6. It wasn't necessarily a mistake. It could have been a conscious choice. Furthermore, it's not a cultural difference.
  7. Maybe they'll change the plan this time around and only give it to people who purchase something. Didn't the pre-order and movie events usually coincide with a DVD release in the US?
  8. The Legality Checker must be updated specifically for each event, but it hasn't yet because this event just came out.
  9. Oh yeah, huh. Interesting... That kinda makes sense, too...
  10. God, are you serious? The top screen is wider because there was room for it. Games can be in more of a "widescreen" aspect, and it will allow better viewing for actual movies. It is NOT the same aspect ratio as the DSi LL. The bottom screen is about the size of the old screens, which is just fine. Your old DS games will have all the proper controls. Making the bottom screen wider would have made the system itself significantly wider. So what if the screens aren't the same size? The proportions are the same, your old DS games aren't going to be "stretched" to fit the wide aspect ratio. They'll appear exactly the same.
  11. Looking at the clearer image, it seems both Liberty Island and Ellis Island are also presrent.
  12. Post was merged into the thread. Re-posting it so people will see it.
  13. It's all. The second two places you mention are part of NYC, btw. The central island, with Hiun City, is Manhattan (with the Bronx north of there), and Brooklyn is the landmass in the southeast (with Queens north of there). The western part is part of New Jersey, but it doesn't look like Staten Island is included (which should be south). http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/1a/5_Boroughs_Labels_New_York_City_Map_Julius_Schorzman.png/616px-5_Boroughs_Labels_New_York_City_Map_Julius_Schorzman.png I wonder if Liberty Island will be around.
  14. Seriously? Come on. It even has Central Park. There should be no doubt now what the basis is.
  15. Nope. It's like a daruma. Hence, the "daruma" in its name. Look it up.
  16. After seeing the new image of the region, I'm leaning more and more towards it being based on New York. Hiun City is looking very much to be like Manhattan, flanked by the Hudson and East Rivers. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e3/Manhattan_Highlight_New_York_City_Map_Julius_Schorzman.png/250px-Manhattan_Highlight_New_York_City_Map_Julius_Schorzman.png The shape of the other landmasses is almost identical, as well. Especially the one in the east.
  17. Greencat: You know what I meant, and everyone knows there will never be an Evil Pokemon. Rilou Aura Sphere Now: The anime is based off the games, not the other way around. And there are rumors floating around that the game plot may not follow the same structure this time around. Nothing is confirmed yet, but expect something soon. I've been talking with Serebii about some of the stuff that's been floating around, and the plot may not focus on badge collection. A few things that seem interesting so far: Team Plasma and Team Neon, Professor Araragi, possible Jynx evotluion... There'll be more for sure when this all hits the webs, and without seeing the real pics/scans of Corocoro, we won't know for sure until then.
  18. Not possible. The only way to do it right now is either in-game or manually. I don't know if anyone plans on working on anything.
  19. We have a chatroom.
  20. No. The Japanese pronunciation (original pronunciation has a soft "c" sound. In English, the c part should sound like "see." This is also wrong.
  21. Yeah, I'm not sure what happened here unless you modifiied it somehow. Yeah, and it's wrong.
  22. So... is your PCP a female?? Also, no such thing as "Notch ear" Pichu.
  23. I highly doubt that Nintendo would ever outright refer to ANY pokemon as "evil." ^ Is what I was getting at. If this game has a yin/yang balance theme, it'll most likely be in the sense of ACTUAL light and dark, not good and evil.
  24. "Light" and "Dark" by no means equal "Good" and "Evil." Not even Darkrai is "evil." It's just emo.
  25. Right, but it doesn't properly generate the pokemon. Doesn't set met location, doesn't generate IVs, doesn't generate a PID (if it's non-static), and may not set the proper encounter data (from Plat and HGSS).
