    If only she didn't have that wretched hat, a regular beanie or whatever she originally had would have been fine. I could deal with the overalls, they are tiny details on a sprite, and I doubt I'll be battling her a lot (if at all) anyway...but that hat. Its almost bigger than the rest of the sprite. lol

    Hey Guested, I never thought to ask, but does it specifically say that the girl player is NOT the girl from Crystal? or is it just assumed from the vast design change? Personally, I see more and more evidence that she is Crystal, just minus the blue hair since this ISN'T Crystal. Also, seems like they just didn't want blue hair in general, as even the mom is now a brunette.

    I know, I know, but he had to be on the rag or something. When it all comes down to it, we actually don't have ANY rights at the store, the receipt states they hold the right to refuse any return. -.- Guy just felt like being an ass I guess. Oh well, I'll just keep it and throw it in the corner with the other double dozen games I never play anymore. Maybe I'll head to a different Gamestop sometime in the future and turn it in with all those other games... and get one in return...and it'll probably have to be used... cause they are cheapskates. lol Anyway, I have around another 7 Pal Parking trips to do, but that will wait till tomorrow. I've already transferred around 150 Pokemon today, and frankly, I'm tired of doing so. lol

    The article is wrong, that was written when we had only half a cropped page of the CoroCoro scans and people were throwing out rumors on 2ch. All the pages have now been scanned and there is NO, NONE, NADDA, mention of Mewtwo or the Lati twins AT ALL. Even the official HGSS site has updated with all the info CoroCoro provided us with, and still NO confirmation of Mewtwo and the Latis. http://www.pokemon.co.jp/special/hgss/news/

    The buttons you listed still work the same as they did for DPPt, if you notice the touch screen lists the buttons for the corresponding options. ie.     Well, the guy at the counter today must have been PMSing because he wouldn't take it back. After a bit of bickering I got him to offer me store credit, which at this point and time is useless for me, so I just kept the game. Be better off throwing it on eBay than trading it in for cash. Its really a pain in the butt though when people decide to take out their troubles on you, its not like its my fault. PS. Going to finish eating, then I'll begin Pal Parking again.

    Yep, that it was. I've officially started pal Parking, but I've gotten next to nowhere. lol 48 Pokemon, split between my Emerald Hoenn Pokemon and the FireRed(LeafGreen sav) Orre Pokemon. It'll still be a while though, I'm getting ready to take back.

    No, I'm returning . Since I just bought it on the 7th to do this and get me my single OT versions, I had 7 days to return it for my refund. Just hopefully I don't sleep all day past their closing time, I haven't been sleeping much lately. I want my refund. :kikkoman:

    Hmph, he was like the Joker to my Batman, always just one step out of my reach. lol Anyway, since I didn't get any help, =P, I just used the emulator at 200% speed, a catch all Pokemon code on LeafGreen, and went into the Safari Zone to just start chucking balls at everything I saw. Took three trips, but I'm now officially all traded. And just in time too, because if I return the game by later today, I can get a full refund. So I'm going to bed, and I'll start Pal Parking in the morning...er, whenever I wake up.

    The Red Gyarados is fantastic, a little fat in the mid section, but nothing to really complain about. Entei is a little skinny in the neck, the left side of his hair fluff could be a bit wider. Love the pose though. Ho-Oh, I hate it. I was hoping it would be almost an exact copy of the original Gold sprite, only 4th gen style. -.- ugh, why do they always do this to Ho-Oh. Lugia looks alright. Its not the greatest sprite. I personally like its DPPt sprites better than this one, but its not terrible. Jagged Ear Pichu, its a Pichu with with with an ear cowlick... It is important to note though that all sprites before the official release should be seen as beta sprites that are possible to change. So don't get TOO attached.

    I would hope they make it a little more useful than other Pichu, but that can't be done just by moveset and nature alone. I could see it with a bit higher stats, but I dunno if they would go through all the trouble. Peems more like its supposed to be a "token" Pokemon more than anything. And yes this rumor of their inclusion was proven false for now, because the source of said rumor that got everyone's hopes up recently said that this months CoroCoro provided proof of their inclusion, which obviously was not the case. And as I said before, that isn't to say they won't be included in the final product, they are the last 3 non event Pokemon not available in the 4th generation, but we likely won't get any information to prove they are included until after the game comes out and a player unlocks whatever method is required to battle them, ala Platinum's Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. I personally do hope that they are included, as I A.) would like to see a complete set of obtainable Pokemon all within one generation again, and I B.) love me some legendaries.

    Yes Kanto is in, people need to stop doubting this. It is a remake, and will include all the basic feature the originals had (except maybe Headbutt Trees, as all the screens where they should have been, no longer seem to have them.) It was obvious it would be in the moment the remakes were announced. Though if you want proof: Both the in game map and the drawn map show the routes that head towards the Pokemon league, which is IN Kanto. The drawn map also feature the route heading towards Viridian. The drawn map also has the Magnet Train, which with its shown route only has one other stop IN Kanto.

    From the looks of things the Lugia and Ho-Oh having new abilities, and the Latis and Mewtwo being included is false for now... Though the other legends may still be included and just not in the scans as a surprise for the players. It'd be strange to leave just those three out of the non event Pokemon. Jagged Ear Pichu can also not be evolved or traded, so its a one of Pokemon for the game you are playing only.

    I could, but if I was going to be setting the date ahead on my DS like 3 dozen times, I was wanting to transfer my Emerald Pokemon to one sav AND the Pokemon to another so I wouldn't waste the effort I was putting in.

    No, because the Hall of Origin Arceus will activate the event, that is how I originally did the event on my US Platinum. I just never paid attention that the Arceus within Platinum didn't have the Fateful Encounter flag checked ( I originally thought it did.). So obviously both types of Arceus work and the FE flag isn't required, I assume just the Dex data and any Arceus will work.

    I swear, this isn't even funny. I go through all the trouble to save every four laps around the kooky Professor's fountain, where you normally fight Chobin, so that I can soft reset for the female Surskit. So I eventually get the beep for the pokespot on the third lap of my round, one before I would have saved. So I go to check out the Pokespot, and its a freaking female Surskit. -.- I wasted all that time trying to prep to get one, and it just pops up to mock me. lol Anyway, now all I need is Totodile from Mt. Battle, which will be done in like 2 hours, give or take my enthusiasm. BTW, any of you have a regular 128 GBA sav for any of the games but Emerald? I don't want to have to go out and catch 70 plus Pokemon in my GBA game just to trade to as fodder. My Emerald has over 100 Pokemon on it, but they are all needed and in the process of being Pal Parked. Lemme know please...

    Well, you have to figure Lapras can walk on land anyway, same as a sea turtle. I'm sure the other water Pokemon will "walk" on land too, but Lapras could do so anyway without flopping like a fish out of water.

    I don't know where you see Lapras on its hind flippers. Its on its belly with large flippers up front and small flippers in the back beneath its shell.

    Dunno, i would have to imagine so, unless it is ONLY the Movie 12 Arceus that activates the event, and not just any Arceus. Then It will likely use the FE flag like Shaymin and Regigigas did in Platinum.

    Hm, I take back what I said about the FE flag on the Platinum Arceus. I never really paid attention to the thing and just assumed that since it was going to activate the event like the other legends do in Platinum, that it would have a Fateful Encounter flag like the Movie 12 one would. Apparently any Arceus will activate the event, as long as it is registered in your Pokedex, which would seem to be how the game checks for this event?

    I don't see why a feather the Pokemon lost would give it a new ability, but who knows. I do think they will be Key items though, so you can't GIVE them to the birds. Would be more like a Gracidea deal... And no, the Gyarados being supa special, as well as the Mewtwo and Latis have yet to be confirmed. I'm hoping for CoroCoro scans today since it will be Monday in Japan, but we may have to wait a few more days as CoroCoro isn't officially released till Wednesday in Japan.
