  1. This is my feeble attempt at a competitive team for the VGC in philly. any advice would be great. Hold items are not chosen yet and any info would be cool. Garchomp Jolly Sand Veil Hp:6;At:252;Speed:252 Physical Sweep -Dragon Claw -Aerial Ace -Fire Fang -Shadow Claw Hippowdon Carefull Sand Stream Hp:6;Def:252;SpDef:252 Sandstream Wall -Slack Off -Yawn -Rock Slide -Crunch Armaldo Carefull Battle Armor Hp:2;At:252;Def:128;SpDef:128 Physical Tank -Rock Slide -X-Scissor -Aerial Ace -Metal Claw Lucario Timid Steadfast Hp:6;SpAtt:252;Speed:252 Special Sweeper -Aura Sphere -Dragon Pulse -Dark Pulse -Water Pulse Magnezone Calm Sturdy Hp:6;Def:252;SpDef:252 Special Wall -Discharge -Flash Cannon -Metal Sound -Magnet Rise Omastar Calm Shell Armor Hp:2;Def:128;SpAtt:252;SpDef:128 Special Tank -Water Pulse -Icy Wind -Earth Power -Sandstorm Well thats it. Figure im trying to go a little heavier on the D than the standard. lookin forward for responces
  2. This thread is to discuss your opinions on team galactic in the anime. Like are they efficient, not in it enough, cool, or maybe you dislike them in the anime and turn the TV off when they are in an episode. What are your thoughts. I think team galactic isn't in the anime enough. They are pretty cool and efficient I think it makes the episodes better because there operations are all planned out right down to the letter and the good guys are constantly trying to keep up. They should be in it enough. I loved the episode losing its lustrous and the one that followed it. Please comment!
  3. Curse Of Darkness Team inspired by Legacy Raider's Curse Tyranitar team ------------------------------------------------------------------ Introduction: ------------------------------------------------------------------ Around the D/P Era as well as early Platinum I ran a bulky offensive team on shoddy as well as WiFi, the basic strategy behind it was to use Dual Screen Bronzong lead to set up rocks and D/S so it could make things easier for DD Tyranitar to sweep. http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46608 This was by far one of the best teams I ever used, it got me the most wins and hardly more than 3 members died, after a while I believed the team reached it's limits so I retired it till a few days ago. On smogon I saw a RMT post by Legacy Raider promoting (I believe) Curse Tyranitar using Pokemon like Gliscor and co to make things easier for him to sweep (Gliscor dealing with fighting moves as well as psychics and other stuff dealing with things that hinder Tyranitar's sweep don't remmber the details as for some reason it got deleted). With the team posted I noticed the team resembled my team with new additions to fit the Platinum metagame, basically what the team did was make me want to rework my old team using some things LR used. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Team Line Up ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------ In-depth look ------------------------------------------------------------------ Metagross @ Leftovers Ability: Clear Body Nature: Adamant (+Attack, - Special Attack) EVs: 252 HP | 236 Attack | 12 Defense | 8 Speed Bullet Punch Earthquake / Meteor Mash Stealth Rock Explosion ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Taken straight from the Smogon dex with Leftovers over Occa Berry. Metagross as a lead is very interesting, the purpose of this set is to set up rocks while dealing with some of the common leads in the metagame like suicide leads. With his typing and ability Metagross provides my team with useful resists, when Stealth Rock is up normally save Metagross for later so I can check some dragon Pokemon (predicted Outrage etc), normally this Pokemon is Salamence as Salamence can be a pain to kill when played right so it is important I keep Metagross alive as long as I can. The EVs give Metagross a bit of bulk as as I am not really interested in out speeding other Pokemon, the move sets goes either way for me, I tend to use Meteor Mash over Earthquake most of the time so I can attempt an early sweep but that would mean steel types resist all of my moves, Explosion is to take out a key member as a perfectly timed Explosion can be game breaking for this team. Gliscor @ Leftovers Ability: Hyper Cutter Nature: Jolly (+Speed, - Special Attack) EVs: 252 HP | 40 Special Defense | 216 Speed Swords Dance Earthquake Roost Stone Edge ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Now this is a member I am very fond of. Gliscor acts as a fighting check (I think) as well as a great supporting Pokemon for my team, with his speed, decent attack and defense stats he is normally one of the last members standing late game. The move set is so that i can stop stat up users that are outsped by Gliscor as well as ruin some other sets for Pokemon, this has helped me stop Pokemon from stalling with Recovery as well as screw up switch ins, Roost gives Gliscor well needed recovery and the rest deals with fighting Pokemon and Heracross as well as Pokemon weak to ground. The EVs are so that Gliscor can have as much health and speed as possible while having a ok attack and defense stats, I haven't used this set in a while so I don't know remember it fares against Lucario. Zapdos @ Leftovers Ability: Pressure Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack) EVs: 252 HP | 80 Special Attack | 176 Speed Thunderbolt Heat Wave Roost Hidden Power [Grass] ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Zapdos is one of the defensive cores of the team that is able to check stuff like Swampert that give this team a lot of trouble, I felt that Salamence was dead weight on the team, which died too soon because of the Life Orb + Stealth Rock + Sandstream combination. Zapdos also aids in beating Scizor which is a thorn to Tyranitar, my old team used to have major problems with SD Scizor especially but the addition of Zapdos with recovery as remedied that. Uxie @ Light Clay Ability: Pressure Nature: Impish (+Defense, - Special Attack) EVs: 252 HP | 180 Defense | 76 Speed Reflect Light Screen Memento U-Turn ....................... Comments & Suggestions: This is the first time I have ever used Uxie and I must say he/she is a fine addition to this team. I consider Uxie to be the Mesprit and Bronzong mixed together, my old team had Bronzong set up screens while crippling another pokemon while I had a psychic immune to ground scout what my opponenet does, Uxie accomplished these taaks by setting up screens and crippling with memento, if I want to save him/her for later I U-Turn out of there. Scizor @ Choice Band Ability: Technician Nature: Adamant (+ Attack, - Special Attack) EVs: 248 HP | 252 Attack | 8 Speed Bullet Punch Superpower Pursuit U-Turn ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Scizor with Choice Band is an excellent addition to any offensive team that needs a raw revenge killing Pokemon, with Choice Band + Stealth Rock you are looking at killing alot of Pokemon denting enough to be killed by other offensive pokemon. The key to this set is making sure you are not predicable, this means most of the time you are going to need to use the odd pursuit, but I mainly stick to U-Turning ass scouting is a massive help, with U-Turn I can plan what my next move is gonna be, though this does not work against his main counter that being Heatran, a well predicated Superpower decimates his ass, and if it is not Scizor I am still doing hells worth of damage providing a ghost does not come in and kill me. This is also the perfect trapper imo as well as the best set for Scizor, Choice Band + Bullet Punch will indefinitely deal with Gengar, and if he decides to switch out, Pursuit deals with him, Gengar as well as everything that is weak to Pursuit is in a no win situation when in the same ring as Scizor. (Another lazy repost) Tyranitar @ Leftovers Ability: Sand Stream Nature: Careful (+Special Defense, - Special Attack) EVs: 74 HP | 252 Attack | 8 Defense | 176 Special Defense Curse Crunch Substitute Stone Edge ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Credits go to Randomspot for showing the set. Anyways Curse Tyranitar is a beast, that is all I have to say, after two curses and stuff Tyranitar becomes a very difficult Pokemon to take down providing everything that kills him is weakened/taken otu beforehand. This set is a little different to the the normal set found on Smogon, as I don't like Rest I decided to use this set. Basically you sub as early as possible and curse up behind the sub, with Tyranitar's decent special defense and attack while being boosted by Curse he should be able to clean up late game. The move set is what I am having problems with, Payback is a powerful move but I feel Crunch will be better suited for that move slot, with the other moves I have the option of using Stone Edge, Earthquake or Crunch, it is hard choosing a good move for it. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The End ------------------------------------------------------------------ Ok so I know that the team is not perfect, I am considering dropping Salamence for a Latias as well as trying out Celebi, the Curse set has been working well for me. (I have been lazy in this rmt, sorry). ------------------------------------------------------------------ Change Log ------------------------------------------------------------------ Gave Tyranitar Crunch and Stone Edge Changed Gliscor's spread Changed Gliscor's move set Changed Gliscor's nature and ability Mesprit and Salamence gone New members being Uxie and Zapdos ------------------------------------------------------------------ Change Log ------------------------------------------------------------------ Coming soon
  4. [sprite]385[/sprite] Jirachi @ Damp Rock Ability: Serene Grace EVs: 252 HP/176 Spd/80 SAtk Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Rain Dance - Thunder - Stealth Rock - U-turn --- Weaknesses: Ground, Fire Resists: Normal, Flying, Rock, Steel, Grass, Psychic, Ice, Dragon Immune: Poison Jirachi is the lead rain dancer, and mid-rain dancer. Stealth rock is to provide additonal dmg against switch ins, and allows Dugtrio to OHKO Tyranitar. U-Turn is to switch out after doing his job, allowing him to return mid-game to restart Rain Dance in case of a long game. Thunder provides a powerful attack in Rain, with a 60% chance to paralyze. [sprite]051[/sprite] Dugtrio (M) @ Choice Band Ability: Arena Trap EVs: 40 HP/252 Atk/216 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Rock Slide - Night Slash - Sucker Punch --- Weaknesses: Grass, Water, Ice Resistances: Poison, Rock Immune: Electric Dugtrio traps and kills Tyranitar and Blisseys. With a choice band and high attack, Dugtrio can OHKO Tyranitars who have been damaged by stealth rock, and 2HKO Blisseys. He can also trap and kill certain electric types such as Electivire. The Jolly nature is to allow him to get first attack on a single DD Tyranitar. Sucker Punch allows a strong priority attack, Night Slash can be used against a switch in who's resistant to ground/rock, and Rock Slide provides a strong attack against fliers. [sprite]419[/sprite] Floatzel (M) @ Life Orb/Left Overs Ability: Swift Swim EVs: 226 HP/252 Atk/8 Def/24 Spd Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def) - Bulk Up - Waterfall - Ice Punch - Return --- Weaknesses: Grass, Electric Resistances: Steel, Fire, Water, Ice Floatzel is a powerful physical sweeper. 24 speed will allow it to outrun all threats in the rain, and Bulk Up is used to enhance it's already powerful attack. STAB Waterfalls provide a powerful attack, Ice Punch takes care of fliers or dragons, and Return gives a strong normal attack for near perfect coverage. Life Orb is used to boost his already powerful attack, although I may use Leftovers instead. [shinysprite]272[/shinysprite] Ludicolo (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Swift Swim EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Surf - Grass Knot - Ice Beam - Hidden Power [bug] Weaknesses: Flying, Poison, Bug Resistances: Ground, Steel, Water Ludicolo was chosen as my special sweeper for it's potent attack and unique typing. Flying, poison and bug moves aren't usual in the OU tier. Surf was chosen over Hydro Pump because I value accuracy over power. Grass Knot was chosen over Energy Ball because it generally deals more damage, and can 2HKO Gyarados. I have to watch out though, because without Energy Ball, Vaporeon can stall out Grass Knot. Ice Beam gives a strong attack against fliers and dragons, and Hidden Power Bug was chosen because it has a high chance to OHKO a Celebi who was struck with stealth rock. [sprite]260[/sprite] Swampert (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Torrent EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd) - Earthquake - Ice Beam - Surf - Rain Dance Weaknesses: Grass (x4!) Resistances: Poison, Rock, Steel, Fire Immune: Electric Provided Jirachi opens against a Pokemon who counters it, his goal is to set up stealth rocks, then U-turn out to Swampert. Swampert has good resistances, and only one weakness. His immunity to electric attacks also provide a good switch-in against electric types that Dugtrio might not be able to handle. (Zapdos is one). Other then that, Mixpert is a good attacker, with powerful earthquakes, ice beams, and STAB rain-danced surfs. [sprite]212[/sprite] Scizor (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Technician EVs: 176 HP/100 Atk/56 Spd/176 SDef Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Pursuit - U-turn - Roost - Bullet Punch --- Weaknesses: Fire (x4!) Resistances: Normal, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Grass, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Dark Immune: Poison Scizor. He's a strong attacker, and in a rain dance team, fire attacks are lessened against him. It doesn't completely negate his weaknesses, but it does provide some leeway. A slow U-turn allows a good switch-in, pursuit can also handle celebi and latias, and Bullet Punch is the strong attack we all know and love. Roost allows him to heal. I used this set for a surprise value, as most people expect a swords dance Scizor, but I may switch him to standard since I'm not sure how well this will work.
  5. The objective of this team is to outlast the enemy while damage over time effects take him out. [sprite]260[/sprite] Swampert (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Torrent EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd) - Stealth Rock - Earthquake - Surf - Ice Beam Weaknesses: Grass (x4!) Resistances: Poison, Rock, Steel, Fire Immune: Electric Provides necessary resistances to rock and fire, is another Tyranitar counter, and is a great opener. [shinysprite]460[/shinysprite] Obama (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Snow Warning EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Substitute - Leech Seed - Blizzard - Grass Knot --- Weaknesses: Fighting, Flying, Poison, Rock, Bug, Steel, Fire (x4!) Resists: Ground, Grass, Water, Electric Abomasnow is used for Snow Warning. He'll open with sub, and proceed to leech seed. Blizzard is used since it has 100% accuracy in hail, and Grass Knot is an additional STAB attack. [shinysprite]365[/shinysprite] Walrein (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Ice Body EVs: 220 HP/244 Def/46 Spd Bold nature (+Def, -Atk) - Substitute - Protect - Roar - Blizzard Weaknesses: Fighting, Rock, Grass, Electric Resistances: Water, Ice Standard Stallrein. Switching Substitute and Protect basically allows for 32 turns of stalling which equals up to 200% caused by hail to the opposing team, more if I have SR and toxic spikes out. Roar is there to outspeed the standard Skarmony who tries to whirlwind from my stall, and blizzard is for a strong accurate STAB. [sprite]473[/sprite] Mamoswine (M) @ Choice Band Ability: Snow Cloak EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Ice Shard - Stone Edge - Bite --- Weaknesses: Steel, Fighting, Grass, Water, Fire Resists: Poison Immune: Electric Mamoswine is the main sweeper of the team. Surprisingly fast, and insanely powerful. Earthquake will one-shot Scizors, and he outspeeds them. Ice Shard is a STAB priority attack, Stone Edge gives additional coverage, and Bite was thrown in to mix things up. (I really had no idea what to use in that last slot, so I went with more coverage) [sprite]073[/sprite] Tentacruel (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Liquid Ooze EVs: 252 HP/120 Def/136 SDef Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Toxic Spikes - Rapid Spin - Knock Off - Surf Weaknesses: Ground, Electric, Psychic Resistances: Fighting, Poison, Bug, Steel, Fire, Water, Ice Tentacruel serves to counter Infernape and Heatran, set up toxic spikes for additional stall damage, rapid spin remove SR, spikes, and knock off to remove leftovers which are countering the hail damage. [sprite]472[/sprite] Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Hyper Cutter EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Roost - Earthquake - Stone Edge Weaknesses: Water, Ice (x4!) Resists: Fighting, Poison, Bug Immune: Ground, Electric Gliscor is the answer to Lucario and Tyranitar. The Jolly nature and speed ev's allow it to outrun all Lucarios, and go for a OHKO earthquake. Roost restores health, and swords dance allows stone edge to OHKO Gyarados, Dragonite, and Salamences after a SR/Hail. Please note that Spd is Speed, and SpD is special defense. This confused random before, but since this is how Shoddy exported it, I'm leaving it. Threats: [sprite]212[/sprite] Frankly, I don't have anything that can beat it's Bullet Punch. Gliscor resists it, but I've been told Scizor won't be OHKOed by it, and the second Bullet Punch would finish it off. Not only that, but it's immune to the toxic spikes Tentacruel sets up. I guess the only thing I would do is suicide Gliscor, and then finish Scizor off with Swampert.
  6. RANDOMSPOT555 EDIT: To stop the random complaining, while at the same time able to maintain some humor in here, all gimmick teams can go in here. As in, teams that would in no way function outside of being complete jokes. Sound good? Okay. Introduction So are you tired of fighting those ugly uber teams unprepared? Well, I devised a team that's foolproof and will ALWAYS defeat. Ready? The Roster [sprite]129[/sprite] Magikarp@Focus Sash Flail Sweeper 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed Jolly Nature - Splash - Tackle - Flail - Bounce With Magikarp you're going have a blast! So here is the idea. Since it rains in ubers thanks to the abundance of Kyogre, Magikarp's speed will double. Then Magikarp will get hit by Thunder, and Focus Sash kicks in, absorbing everything. That Kyogre will laugh so hard he will begin setting up, while Magikarp proceeds to Flail the fish, becoming a 5-4HKO to a max HP Kyogre with 1 HP while Calm Mind does 0 damage to the Red fishy! Take that! It's also 25.73% - 30.12% against a minimum HP Kyogre... so it's a guaranteed 4HKO! Also, a max HP Arceus is 6HKOd while the Extremekiller's Swords Dance will do ZERO damage against the fishy! This wonderful fish is gonna own people tonight! [sprite]011[/sprite] Metapod@Leftovers Physical Wall 252 HP/252 Def/6 SpD Impish Nature - Bug Bite - Iron Defense - String Shot - Tackle The premier physical wall of this team. With + 6 defense, he can take an unboosted Arceus's Extremespeed for a total of 12.17% - 14.47%! And he can take him down with a 63HKO Bug Bite while Arceus can only manage 0 damage with Swords Dance! That Bug Bite can also eat off a Pinch Berry... so if Metapod gets Salac or Liechi Berry... they're in for it! [sprite]014[/sprite] Kakuna@Choice Band Choice Bander 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed Adamant Nature - Poison Sting - Bug Bite With Choice Band, expect things to die horribly. Max HP Steel-type Arceus is a 25 HKO with a Choice Banded Bug Bite! In an environment where Psychics are prevalent, a Kakuna can easily switch into a Swords Dance or Calm Mind and kill off stuff with Bug Bite. To give you a perspective Deoxys-A can be 2HKOd if its negative natured. This Kakuna will NEVER get walled, EVER! [sprite]266[/sprite] Silcoon@Leftovers Physical Special Wall 252 HP/6 Def/252 SpD Careful Nature - Iron Defense - String Shot - Poison Sting - Bug Bite A backup bug... walls stuff like NOBODY else can do! [sprite]268[/sprite] Cascoon@Choice Band The Tanky Sweeper 252 HP/252 Atk/6 SpD Adamant Nature - Bug Bite - Poison Sting - Tackle Walls stuff AND kills stuff! This thing kills stuff like NOBODY has ever done before! If you are unfortunate to meet up with this member of this team, just hope his awesomeness Cascoon will spare you from the wrath of his evil eye! [sprite]349[/sprite] Feebas@Focus Sash Magikarp's Ugly Stepsister 252 HP/6 Attack/252 Speed Jolly Nature - Mirror Coat/Hypnosis - Protect - Waterfall - Flail You thought Magikarp was awesome? Just wait until you see the ugly stepsister! With Focus Sash, she is not OHKOd by the likes of Kyogre and WILL reflect it back with her UGLY stare (Mirror Coat), frying that poor killer whale into dust. If you opt for Hypnosis, the opponent WILL be outsped by the ugly stepsister in the rain and will be hypnotized into sleeping thanks to her UGLY stare and continue to Flail them and STAB Waterfall in the rain. This one's SURE to cause stuff to die horribly! FEAR the UGLY STARE! Any comments? Please rate!
  7. Upon Random's advice, this team is now going to be a Sandstorm team. [sprite]142[/sprite] Aerodactyl (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Pressure EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Stealth Rock - Taunt - Earthquake - Rock Slide --- Weaknesses: Rock, Steel, Water, Electric, Ice Resists: Normal, Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire Immune: Ground Aero here is my lead in. Taunt can stop the opponents Pokemon from setting up, I try to get Stealth Rocks out as soon as possible. Focus Sash ensures it survives to do this. Earthquake is to counter Infernape and other ground weak lead-ins, and rock slide is another option. I've chosen Rock Slide over Stone Edge due to it's greater accuracy. Basically, get in, set up rocks, then suicide. [sprite]448[/sprite] Lucario (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Inner Focus EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Aura Sphere - Shadow Ball - Hidden Power [ice] - Agility Weaknesses: Fighting, Ground, Fire Resists: Normal, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Grass, Ice, Dragon, Dark Immune: Poison Considering Tyranitar is a physical attacker, I'm making Lucario a special attacker in case of any physical walls. HP Ice is for dragons, which my team lacks coverage of, and the rest is obvious. [sprite]248[/sprite] Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 74 HP/252 Atk/8 Def/176 SDef Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Crunch - Curse - Substitute - Fire Punch --- Weaknesses: Fighting (x4!), Ground, Bug, Steel, Grass, Water Resists: Normal, Flying, Poison, Ghost, Fire, Dark Immune: Psychic Switch in on something that's scared of him, use sub, and then curse my way to good attack/defense. Fire punch is for additional team coverage, and crunch is a basic STAB. [sprite]385[/sprite] Jirachi @ Leftovers Ability: Serene Grace EVs: 240 HP/160 Def/34 Spd/76 SDef Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Wish - U-turn - Body Slam - Ice Punch --- Weaknesses: Ground, Fire Resists: Normal, Flying, Rock, Steel, Grass, Psychic, Ice, Dragon Immune: Poison Jirachi is support with wish, scout with U-turn, and status inflicter with Body Slam. He's actually gotten me a few kills with body slam. Ice Punch is for coverage against dragons, or a last resort against ghosts who switch in. [sprite]472[/sprite] Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Sand Veil EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Roost - Earthquake - Stone Edge Weaknesses: Water, Ice (x4!) Resists: Fighting, Poison, Bug Immune: Ground, Electric Jolly nature + speed EV's allow it to outspeed Lucario's and smack them with Earthquake. Swords Dance is to boost attack, and with stealth rock, Stone Edge can then OHKO all Gyaradoes, Salamence and Dragonites. I went with Sand Evasion over Hyper Cutter because the 20% evasion was too good to pass up. I also went with leftovers over a yache berry, since proper prediction can nullify my ice weakness with roost. [sprite]395[/sprite] --- King Dedede (M) @ Petaya Berry Ability: Torrent EVs: 14 HP/232 Spd/252 SAtk/12 SDef Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Agility - Substitute - Surf - Ice Beam --- Weaknesses: Fighting, Ground, Electric Resists: Normal, Flying, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Water, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Dark (Niiiiice) Immune: Poison Empoleon is the special sweeper. Use agility, follow with sub until the berry kicks in, and then sweep. Surf is for the STAB, Ice Beam is to handle dragons/flyers. Well, any comments or suggestions? This is my first team, and I would like any pointers since I am new to competitive battling.
  8. I'm making a new team, and I want it to look totally legit for the Pokemon VGC. I've ran the Legit checker, and I think everything looks okay..But I would like a second opinion on it, and maybe you guys can find something wrong that I can't. All of the pokemon have the regular name "LUCARIO" like that. Thanks for any help in advance. -Cody Team.rar

  10. Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Speculation Thread Please use this thread to discuss possibilities of things that you think might or might not be in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Please make a note of confirmed information in the thread here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?p=50138#post50138 Some information from GSC: Regarding Pokémon availability: The game will most likely use the Johto Pokédex which included all 251 known Pokémon at that time. However, not all of them were available to be caught in the games. Unobtainable Pokémon in Pokémon Gold: Unobtainable Pokémon in Pokémon Silver It's also possible that the Pokemon included in the Johto Dex who now have new evolutions from Gen 3 or 4 could see those evolutions present in the new games and possibly a newer version of the Johto Dex. Or perhaps they won't be, like FR/LG? What do you think? Pokemon that have been introduced in Gen III or IV that evolve from or into a Johto Dex Pokemon: Despite being able to travel to Kanto, these Pokemon were unavailable: Out of these listed Kanto Pokemon, the fossil Pokemon are able to be found in the Underground in DPP, the three legendary birds are found in Platinum, but the starters are only obtainable by migration from FRLG and Mewtwo/Mew are not available in a 4th Gen game yet. Also, Celebi was obtainable through an item-activated event in the Japanese version, but not American. Therefore, it could be possible that a Celebi event could be in the new games. Perhaps with a GS Ball event similar to the Member's Card or Oak's Letter. What do you think about the Kanto starters and Mew/Mewtwo? Do you think there could be something similar to Birch giving you a Johto starter in Emerald? Or perhaps an item-activated event for Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave? Legendary Pokemon in GS: I think it's safe to say that the Regi-trio Pokemon will not be included in these versions since they were already in Platinum (as well as obviously being in RSE). Obtainable Pokemon through in-game gifts Rumors: * N/A ATM Keep in mind this thread is purely for speculation as we have no actual information to go on. What do you think about this? Do you think other Pokemon will be included? Do you think Kanto will be included (or do you think it will be cut since it already appeared in FR/LG)? Do you think more of Kanto's Pokemon will be available? Do you think Kanto will be the same size? Bigger/more in-depth than in GS? What kind of legendary/event Pokemon do you think will be in the game? What kind of Pokemon do you think we'll get through item-activated events (such as Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus)? Do you think we'll see ways to obtain Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi or even Jirachi's first in-game obtainable appearance? What other aspects of the game do you think will be included? Or what do you think will be cut from the original release of GS? I'm personally really hoping to see something like the Battleground from Platinum where you'd be able to re-battle the characters from GS such as the Johto and Kanto Gym leaders (and maybe even Red, if he comes out of his cave...). Let's talk about it.
  11. Introduction All right, so I somewhat got bored of OU and I want to try UU. However, as you all know, I'm terrible at making teams that can support each other and whatnot. And most of you know that I love to make teams that are good with stalling and come out on top with indirect damage. I have other Pokemon that may replace certain Pokemon and all. Without further ado, please rate my team! The Team [sprite]208[/sprite] Luster the Steelix@Leftovers Male Impish Nature Rock Head 252 HP/120 Atk/136 SpDef (yes, it's Smogon's set, other than maxing out HP, I don't know the reason for the other two) - Stealth Rock - Stone Edge - Earthquake - Explosion Steelix is my lead, and as usual, I try to set up Stealth Rocks in the field. I realize Steelix is weak on the special side and will be promptly OHKO'd by Flamethrowers or Surfs, but the leads I've met were usually physical and therefore will have a tough time taking this Iron Snake down. Once I lay out the rocks, I either start attacking with Stone Edges and Earthquakes, explode if I think his job is done, or I switch out, saving him later for another time. He's been effective for the most part, but I have to watch out for Magnet Pull Probopasses, which like to switch in, Magnet Rise so Earthquake won't affect me, and Earth Power Steelix to death while Stone Edge does pitiful damage against him. Weaknesses: Water, Fire, Ground, Fighting Resistances: Normal, Flying, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Psychic, Dark, Dragon, Steel Immunities: Poison, Electric Accomplishments: Defeated Purugly, Solrock, Gengar, and Mamoswine [sprite]097[/sprite] Tapir the Hypno@Leftovers Female Calm Nature Insomnia 252 HP/56 Def/200 SpDef - Wish - Thunder Wave - Reflect - Seismic Toss Hypno is my main special wall. With HP/Def/SpDef of 374/190/347, she's sure to take hits, and adding reflect can help her tank physical attacks too. Wish is my main method of supporting the team with an instant recovery move while Thunder Wave hurts sweepers by slowing them down to dust (my team is filled with slowpokes). Seismic Toss is there for consistency, but I do have some problems. Hypno tends to die very often from stuff like Sweeper Clamperl and whatnot and usually I'm left with very little health to use Wish with. Perhaps I'll need room for Protect? Any suggestions? Weaknesses: Bug, Ghost, Dark Resistances: Fighting, Psychic Immunities: None Accomplishments: Defeated sweeper Clamperl, Raticate [sprite]031[/sprite] Regina the Nidoqueen@Leftovers Female Impish Nature Poison Point 252 HP/96 Atk/160 Def - Toxic Spikes - Crunch - Superpower - Earthquake Nidoqueen is my main bulky ground and can do plenty of things in UU. Firstly, her movepool is so large people won't know what to expect. I went all physical, but you can make a suggestion here to go mixed or special if you want. She can also tank hits from Fighters and others, which is really needed here. If she has nothing better to do, she can Toxic Spikes if needed, although it doesn't work too well in UU. I think her role is largely redundant with Steelix, so I'll need help here :-/ Maybe I'll go with Nidoking, I'm not sure... Weaknesses: Water, Ground, Ice, Psychic Resistances: Fighting, Poison, Bug, Rock Immunities: Electric Accomplishments: Defeated Gallade, Rampardos, and Nidoking in one battle [sprite]323[/sprite] Humphrey the Camerupt@Leftovers Male Modest Nature Solid Rock 228 HP/72 SpA/208 SpDef - Yawn - HP Grass - Earth Power - Heat Wave So here is my beloved camel of doom! He's supposed to be very efficient at walling stuff, but for some reason, he loves to get critical'd by random things every single time. Here's how he works: he yawns stuff, forces them to switch or stay and fear Camerupt's powerful attacks. Heat Wave and Earth Power are his main STAB options, and HP Grass is there for coverage against Quagsires and bulky waters who think they can switch in with impunity. But even then, I'd switch him out instead. I think I have way too many Electric immunes (I get very paranoid about electric Pokemon, but then again, when do I see them other than in OU?) If you guys can think of a replacement, please say so! But this camel's too cool Weaknesses: 1.5x to Ground, and a 3x to Water! Resistances: Fire, Bug, Steel, Poison Immunities: Electric Accomplishments: Kept on dying, kept getting Critical'd... and defeated Mothim @_@ [sprite]071[/sprite] Vicky the Victreebel@Salac Berry Female Adamant Nature Chlorophyll 76 HP/252 Atk/180 Speed <--- outspeeds base 60s - Swords Dance - Return - Sucker Punch - Leaf Blade With Stealth Rocks and/or Toxic Spikes around, Victreebel shouldn't have a hard time switching into something she resists and set up Swords Dance and start sweeping. We have STAB Leaf Blade, which unlike its predecessor Sludge Bomb, it actually gets type coverage. There's Sucker Punch in case something likes to be smart and try a priority move. Return is just there for coverage, although Body Slam might work for that chance of paralysis, but I don't know if that's worth the power drop. Salac Berry works well if Victreebel is low in health... and then she can proceed to sweep. I realize her friends Vileplume and Bellossom are more bulkier and more fit for this team (not to mention they use special attacks, which my team needs more, I think)... so do you think Victreebel should stay or go? Weaknesses: Fire, Ice, Flying, Psychic Resistances: Grass, Fighting, Water, Electric Immunities: None Accomplishments: Swept Kingler, Skuntank, Lunatone, Gastrodon... and defeated Probopass [sprite]009[/sprite] Tortoise the Blastoise@Leftovers Male Bold Nature Torrent 252 HP/220 Def/36 Speed <--- outspeeds 200 speeders by 1 point - Rapid Spin - Toxic - Protect - Surf Yay my favorite starter! This guy is what makes thing so SLOOOOOWWWW. Toxic hits things not Steel or Poison types to slowly sap away their HP while Blastoise proceeds to wall them, weaken them with Surf, and Protect for a free turn of Leftovers recovery. Rapid Spin spins away those rocks, which I really need (although none of my team is particularly weak to it), but those rocks can make a difference between a 3HKO and a 2HKO. I might want to keep him in... and I have plenty of grass and electric resists/immunes in this team to back him up. Weaknesses: Electric, Grass Resistances: Steel, Fire, Water, Ice Immunities: None Accomplishments: Defeated Probopass, Drifblim, and Gastrodon If some of these Pokemon don't seem to work well in my team, please pick one of these in this list to replace them if needed. In my eyes, these are UU for now (the classical one); I refuse to use Smogon's UU right now because it's all screwed up. Milotic and Spiritomb in UU? No way! I even have NU and some popular NFEs in this team too... If anyone wants to test out UU with me or whatnot these are the ones I'm allowing for now:
  12. Ok, I'm not sure how well this team will work out, seeing as I just finished making it. I wanted to pick an offensive team, then I think I turned it into a balanced/stalling team, but I'm not sure. So rate my first team, tell me what could be changed, don't be gentle. By GOD do NOT go easy on me. So, without further ado, I have finished my introduction now I introduce to you, my team. 13. I just finished working on a picture of my D/P/Plt team consisting of my starter Tortureign (Torterra), Tyran (Raichu), Veaesuvius (Charizard), Thanatos (Tyranitar), Neptnaeius (Garchomp), and Skorponakh(Gliscor)...Just click the thumbnail...and please comment
  14. After my old team, which was half disaster, I decided to post a new one. I'm about to go test it on shoddy. Its a variation on another team I saw with quite a few changes. Intro: The goal here is to set up rocks, then put as much offensive pressure as possible on the opponent. I use Scizor, Jirachi, and Salamence for most of the actual fighting. Porygon2 is my reliable counter to Salamence, Gyarados, Jolteon, and Heatran. Latias allows for a powerful midgame fighter to deal with things I can't effectively counter with a STAB LO Draco Meteor and provides excellent coverage with Surf & Thunderbolt. - Metagross @Lum Berry Adamant | Clear Body 252 HP / 170 Atk / 80 Def / 8 Spe Stealth Rock / Meteor Mash / Bullet Punch / Explosion Standard Metagross lead. Bulky enough to set up rocks then explode in someone's face, usually good for atleast 1 KO. Against a Taunt user such as Aero or Azelf, Meteor Mash them on the Taunt and Bullet Punch for an easy KO, then Explode next turn for 2 easy KOs. Lum Berry helps against the occasional sleep lead. Scizor @Life Orb Adamant | Technician 252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Def Swords Dance / X-Scissor / Brick Break / Bullet Punch Standard Scizor. Switch into something thats useless against it, Swords Dance, then sweep. Bullet Punch is the main attacking move on this set, as STAB Technician is pretty impressive. On the D/P metagame of our Shoddy, I'll probably switch Bullet Punch for U-Turn. X-Scissor for STAB and Brick Break for a powerful fighting attack + wallbreaking. Jirachi @Leftovers Timid | Serene Grace 252 HP / 80 SpA / 178 Spe Calm Mind / Substitute / Flash Cannon / Thunderbolt Standard Sub Calm Mind set. Flash Cannon is an unusual choice but has amazing coverage with Thunderbolt. 252 HP gives it 101 Subs. With a single Calm Mind she can OHKO most anything thats a SE, and with two or three she can sweep. Excellent against baton passers because while one pokemon sets up, she can spam Calm Mind safely behind a Sub then OHKO the switch-in and sweep the entire team. Salamence @Life Orb Naive | Intimidate 252 Atk / 36 SpA / 220 Spe Dragon Dance / Dragon Claw / Earthquake / Fire Blast Not standard. 220 Spe allows him out outspeed Gengar, his main high speed threat. I don't like getting locked into one attack, it makes prediction to easy, so I use Dragon Claw > Outrage. It lets Salamence sweep with more impunity and stay in longer. Porygon2 @Leftovers Bold | Trace 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpA Thunderbolt / Ice Beam / Recover / Thunder Wave Defensive Duck is my new Gyarados, Salamence, Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Heatran counter, all in one. BoltBeam allows for excellent coverage along with 4x damage against Gyarados & Salamence. Recover is standard, and Twave is too threatening for many sweepers to say in. Trace allows for near infinite versatility and abusage of the abilities of others. Latias @Life Orb Modest | Levitate 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Draco Meteor / Surf / Thunderbolt / Recover New Latias set suggested by Enkidu. Surf is my only water attack on the whole team which is definitely needed. Thunderbolt helps with the occasional Gyarados that I'll face and Draco Meteor is a reliable, powerful STAB that'l OHKO or at the very least seriously damage most everything. Surf is a 2HKO on Scizor and Tyranitar after SR damage, which is a guaranteed setup with Metagross unless I'm against an anti-lead. She can survive CB Bullet Punch from scizor for a 2HKO if I get Surf on a switch in. Essentially, a very useful set that I can pull out midgame.
  15. My team conists of in order: 1.Dragonite lvl100, knows Hyper Beam, Dragon Claw, Thunder Punch, and Ice Beam. 2.Darkrai lvl 100 knows Dark Void, Shadow Ball, Spacial Rend(From TRU event), and Psychic 3.Manaphy lvl 100 knows Surf, Ice Beam, Power Jem, and Psywave 4. Regigigas lvl 100 knows Crush Grip, Body Slam, Thunder Punch, and Ice Punch 5. Palkia lvl 100 knows Spacial Rend, Ice Beam, Draco Meteor, and Surf 6. Dialga lvl100 knows Roar of Time, Flash cannon, Dragon Rush, and Thunder Bolt I spent much time breeding most of these pokemon to their designated levels so please take the time to rate thank you
  16. I'm looking for some one to make me a team, I'd be very grateful if some one were able to do this for me. I'm sorry if there's to many to make. If you could do them that would be wonderful! Friend Code: 4082 2060 4363 Thank you! <3

  18. Finally have the time to start up Battle Tower. Just designed a Hail team. Basically, the difference between the Battle Tower and competitive battling is that theres virtually no switching from the opponent and generally there are few choice items. This team is based on Abomasnow setting up hail and the rest using it to sweep. Overview Abomasnow @ Big Root Rash Snow Warning 252 HP 180 SpA 76 Spe Energy Ball Blizzard Leech Seed Hidden Power (Ground) Abomasnow is my lead (obviously). His EV spread is taken from smogon. I don't really know what its based on, but it looks good. Special build. Energy Ball is a simple special STAB move. Blizzard goes hand in hand with Hail. Leech Seed is excellent for keeping this guy alive. HP Ground goes a long way with Electric types and potentially slow fire types, although thats very risky. Big Root is there to increase Leech Seed's healing, although it seems totally useless at this point. Need suggestions on a different item that isn't already in use. Froslass @ Petaya Berry Timid Snow Cloak 4 Def 252 SpA 252 Spe Substitute Blizzard Shadow Ball Thunderbolt My main sweeper. Simple Sub Petaya set from Smogon. She is blazing fast already and the speed EVs make her a monster. Substitute is obvious for activating Petaya. Blizzard is the main STAB assisted by Abomasnow's hail. Shadow Ball is secondary stab. With Thunderbolt she has perfect coverage and gives her something with at least neutral against steel types. Vaporeon @ Leftovers Bold Water Absorb 188 HP 252 Def 68 Spe Wish Protect Surf Hidden Power [Dark] Wish Support. Wish is a given on this guy and is great for helping my Abomasnow switch in. Protect is good for getting Wish on Vaporeon himself. This guy also acts as my main Fire counter, so Surf is a given and with STAB it works well as a bread 'n butter move. HP Dark is the only dark move on this team, and I think its rather needed as a Psychic counter. There you go. Any suggestions? As a Hail team, Abomasnow is invaluable and can't be switched out. I'd like to keep Froslass as its my new favorite pokemon. Vaporeon is my replacement for Gardevoir and my fire counter. No legendaries (and I mean NONE) since they can't be used in Battle Frontier.
  19. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Introduction: ------------------------------------------------------------------ I personally like offensive play as well as offensive teams, when played correctly offensive teams can end matches very quickly for me. My goal here (was) is to have immunity and resistances to: Spikes Toxic Spikes Stealth Rock In a way I have accomplished most of those, which me only having one Stealth Rock weak Pokemon and one Pokemon hit by Spikes / Toxic Spikes. My second goal is to try and have an alternate win condition, Azelf is my main late game attacker as well as my back up card in case Salamence or Scizor somehow fall early game, with this offensive team I can't really play around as one wrong move can potentially end the game for me, then again I have gotten better at playing with offensive teams. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Offensive Team Line Up ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------ My opinions plus summary ------------------------------------------------------------------ From the current line up things are looking decent for me, this team is not afraid of and entry hazards (which could screw me over) also the type coverage is excellent when you look deeper into things I tried to have as many resistances as possible while using some of my favorite Pokemon, though Swampert is not really one of my favs he does help this team out from time to time I am liking the line up, I have a lead that set up Stealth Rock reliably while dealing with most leads and common threats. ------------------------------------------------------------------ In-depth look ------------------------------------------------------------------ Jirachi @ Choice Scarf Ability: Serene Grace Nature: Jolly (+Speed, -Special Attack) EVs: 80 HP| 252 Attack | 176 Speed U-Turn Trick Stealth Rock Iron Head ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Swampert originally was here in place of Jirachi, but seeing I hate Swampert now also the fact that he is affected by Toxic Spikes means he need to be replaced. Anyways, Jirachi himself is a marvelous lead, being a lead that achieves setting up rocks effectively is a plus while having Choice Scarf means I have a great weapon against the likes of Scizor (if I decide to ditch Trick) Salamence (Ice Punch) while adding a bit of hax into the game. I made some small changes to the moveset, removing U-Turn completely and adding Trick into the mix, even though I hardly ever feel the need to use it, having it there can help at times. The EVs are borrowed from a set on Smogon, 200 Speed EVs makes it so Jirachi hits 429, which outruns lead Aerodactyl and Azelf (non scarfed), then I split the EVs in half giving Jirachi a bit of health and attack respectively. Jirachi being a steel combos well with Latias and Salamence, but also gives my team triple ground weakness, which I am not too bothered about. Though I am having problems with what to add, if I add Fire Punch then Scizor is defiantly going down, if I add U-Turn then I have some scouting, but that is assuming I have Trick here, I might go with Fire Punch as I really don't like Scizor. ------ Salamence @ Life Orb Ability: Intimidate Nature: Naive (+ Speed, - Special Defense) EVs: 16 Attack | 240 Special Attack | 252 Speed Outrage Draco Meteor Brick Break Flamethrower ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Salamence is by far the most controversial Pokemon I have used, but now he seems to be working extremely well for me. Salamence has near un-resistance coverage to everything, this helps with his great speed and nice distributed stats, Salamence on a whole is the best member here as he does not need one turn to cause hell for anyone. Salamence's moveset can go either way here, if I need the extra power then I keep Fire Blast and Earthquake, but here I am minizing risk, so Brick Break and Flamethrower is the best choice for me, Flamethrower hits the same thing but has better accuracy and brick Break hits Blissey incase I am saving Outrage for late game, it also scouts Skarmory switch ins which are taken care of by fire just incase he decides to stay in predicting an Outrage, Skarmory is not getting past Salamence. ------ Scizor @ Choice Band Ability: Technician Nature: Adamant (+ Attack, - Special Attack) EVs: 248 HP | 252 Attack | 8 Speed Bullet Punch Superpower Pursuit U-Turn ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Scizor with Choice Band is an excellent addition to any offensive team that needs a raw revenge killing Pokemon, with Choice Band + Stealth Rock you are looking at killing alot of Pokemon denting enough to be killed by other offensive pokemon. The key to this set is making sure you are not predicable, this means most of the time you are going to need to use the odd pursuit, but I mainly stick to U-Turning *** scouting is a massive help, with U-Turn I can plan what my next move is gonna be, though this does not work against his main counter that being Heatran, a well predicated Superpower decimates his ***, and if it is not Scizor I am still doing hells worth of damage providing a ghost does not come in and kill me. ------ Latias @ Life Orb Ability: Levitate Nature: Modest (+Special Attack, - Attack) EVs: 80 HP | 252 Special Attack | 176 Speed Surf Recover Psycho Shift Draco Meteor ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Credits to Panamaxis for the set. Latias has been placed here as not only does she deal quite a bit of damage but she also deals quite a bit of damage to opposing teams but she also deals with something that can screw over any offensive team, that being Status moves, PS absorbs all Satatus aimed at party members and sends it right back to the opposing Pokemon, which can win you matches. Now this is a vital member, I need some way of stopping Infernape, where according to most people, every team is weak to, Latias with her bulk and type deals with Infernape effectively, with her reliable recovery and decent special attack, she is normally one of the last Pokemon to die in battle. ------ Infernape @ Life Orb Ability: Blaze Nature: Naive (+ Speed, - Special Defense) EVs: 252 Attack | 64 Special Attack | 192 Speed U-Turn Close Combat Mach Punch Overheat ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Though this set is not as deadly as the Lucario set I had, Infernape (physically based) can still provide my team with as much offensive power checking many threats that are extremely annoying (them being Agility Empoleon) The set itself is not generally fast for my liking, but with U-Turn and Mach Punch in his set, speed is not an issue for me, the main thing about this set is that Infernape is able to take down Lucario and Empoleon with ease if they happen to switch in and set up on one of my Pokemon (Scizor is usually set up on) Mach Punch strikes first always dealing great amounts of damage to those two while U-Turn is used as my secondary scouting move if I correctly predict a flying switch in or Latias, who loses half her health from U-Turn. Infernape being similar to Lucario in terms of offensive power can function as both an early and late game attacker, in fact, even though I enjoy using Lucario I prefer Infernape over Lucario as Lucario opened me up to a fire weakness. ------ Suicune @ Leftovers Ability: Pressure Nature: Timid (+Speed, - Attack) EVs: 40 HP | 252 Special Attack | 216 Speed Calm Mind Ice Beam Hidden Power [Electric] Surf ....................... Comments & Suggestions: To solve my issue with Gyarados which pretty much sweeps my team I decided to sacrifice spikes immunity for dealing with him. Suicune acts are my only set up Pokemon, being able to deal with threats in the game while dealing with my biggest problem which is Gyarados, after Stealth Rock Suicune is able to one hit KO with or without a Calm Mind boost, this is added by Life Orb. Though Suicune is a tank, I believe this set with Life Orb is powerful, I was thinking of using Leftovers but I decided that the extra power with Life Orb was more important than recovery. The EVs may look weird but I swear it works, with 172 HP Suciune's life is prolonged while the rest have been distributed evenly to give Suicune a bit of power and speed, though I am considering going with the standard eV spread for him, right now this spread is working fine for me. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Change Log: ------------------------------------------------------------------ Changed Swampert with Jirachi. Changed Lucario with Infernape. Changed Latias spread. Gave Salamence Earthquake and Flamethrower over Brick Break and Fire Blast. Gave Azelf Flamethrower over Thunderbolt. Gave Jirachi Trick over Fire Punch. Gave Jirachi Ice Punch over U-Turn. Gave Jirachi Fire Punch over Ice Punch. Gave Salamence Brick Break over Earthquake. Changed Azelf for Suicune. Gave Suicune Leftovers. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Threat List ------------------------------------------------------------------ Green means they are not a problem for me. Orange means they can cause a bit of trouble. Red means they are very difficult to take down.

Empoleon @ Leftovers Nature: Modest Ability: Torrent EVs: my original starter, decided not to EV-train him to see how far he will get Role: Special Sweeper - Hail - Blizzard - Surf - Earthquake Comment: Hail for Blizzard's accuracy, leftovers for the effect of Hail, Earthquake for coverage. Tips: (By Illithian 8/29/09} Create your team in Shoddy Battle and hit 'Export to Text' to have it automatically formatted. Include pictures of your Pokemon. Try to ignore your favorites; it will make it much easier to create a successful team if you aren't attached to a specific pokemon. Test your team frequently! You'll have fun and be able to see strengths and weaknesses much better in practice then on paper. Also, once suggestions are posted, you can really see the difference and whether or not its worth keeping. Good luck and have FUN!
