Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Sky - The Story of Team Kirby
ZeroModernDay commented on ZeroModernDay's file in ROM hacks
This update is simply... to say sorry. So... It seems like yesterday I messed up bad and pushed out a release, thinking that an experimental new feature was going to work perfectly, and it didn't. (pain) I apologize for any inconvenience, I should have done a third beta test before releasing. This new update remedies that, Jirachi returns to its original place, and includes a few new fixes for dialogue and portraits. Game Saves should be alright to transfer over. You should update to this ASAP. -

I have divided them into catagories. Caught & Breedable - These are mons that can either be caught in game or transfered over and bread. Shiny WISHMKR Jirachi Save (Use For Colosseum Bonus Disc)
SKABMAN commented on Kelz1015's file in User Contributed Saves
Hello, I am a little confused on how to utilize this file. Is this a Ruby/Sapphire save file with the shiny jirachi on it? Or is this a Ruby/Sapphire save file that I inject into a cartridge and and then send the Wishmaker jirachi to that cartridge with my bonus disc and it will be shiny? Or none of the above? Thanks for the help. Upon rereading the original post, I believe that the second interpretation I had is the correct one. -
This is Awesome! A Rom hack of my favorite game is just amazing! It's nice seeing how many Pokemon you can get compared to the original game, now you can get Legendarys besides the birds and more shadow moves! this is awesome bro. also my 100Lv Lugia from vanilla Named Master says hello! (uhh I don't have any images of him sorry) (I like Black Pearl because she's like Shadow Lugia, plus she's beautiful)

A very dumb, scrappy hack of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon based off the Pokémon H hack for Pokémon Red made by IoIxD (and conquered by Saltydkdan), made with SkyTemple. you can download the original Pokemon H hack on IoIxD's site here: https://www.ioi-xd.net/pokeh Custom H Sprites made by Me, Mudkid The purpose of the hack is that it replaces almost all of the Pokémon with the letter H, along with most of the digits in the font, making a Pokémon experience which is just like playing in a foreign language while also being half blind and hopefully not insane soon enough. I'm not too experienced with SkyTemple as I began learning how everything works for the purpose of this hack, and the hack might be rough around the edges (namely custom cutscene specific sprites still showing Pokémon other than H), but almost everywhere it really matters (especially where its random) info is obscured. many animations are weird too since of how the game handles animation slots (you'll see this in how most of the Pokémon use the sleep animation for a lot) I put this together mainly because I thought the Pokémon H experience would be so much more stupid in Mystery Dungeon, with things like the heavy item usage, Belly, PP management and even random Pokémon like Drifblim spamming moves like Ominous Wind which you now wont ever see coming nor understand your first time The files include the hack as a delta patch, with the delta patcher included for ease of access. the hack is suited for a US rom of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. if that doesnt work try something else maybe, that's all i really know. If anyone wanted this to exist then here you go I guess, enjoy H. Non H Pokemon; Bellsprout: Replaced with I (I believe the original hack did this) Kecleon: Replaced with J (based on the idea that its impossible to catch an I in the original hack, maybe recruiting a J could be a nice challenge wink wink) Dialga: Replaced with Luigi (Luigi is important in this series) Palkia: Replaced with Mario (Mario brother) Luigi and mario both use sprites from Super Mario World, i chose not Mario RPG sprites on purpose don't go to my twitter or other external sites, I probably don't deserve it, follow someone else https://twitter.com/OnePunchMudkip -

There is no more convenient tool like PPRE to edit gen4 pokemon stats. However PPRE1(0.14b) is unable to saving moves edit and PPRE2 is just unable to saving any changes. To be honest both of them are hard to use compared with other similiar tools like prc_bw1or2 and pk3ds. Moreover, Their code on github is about 11 yr before last committed, the code dependencies are obsoleted (python2+pyqt4+other python libs) . I've upgrade origin project with bug fix, refine code and simpilfy user logic make it useable to edit gen4 (and gen5 maybe) pokemon\move stats and text. download from github or from my attachment (windows) ppre2.zip

Sorry, I was confused, due to the way it was phrased. This event cannot be shiny. No Celebi originating from Gen 3 could be legitimately shiny. Heck, there’s no legitimate shiny for Celebi all the way from Gen 3 to Gen 6. Hence why it was a big deal (during Gen 7’s time) that Virtual Console Crystal was released and could be connected to mainline games. (You can shiny hunt for Celebi in Crystal)

I know you aren't working on this anymore and it has been like 3 years but it would be cool if you could somehow fix a couple of things with it because honestly it's pretty good. -Can't go to route 10 during frozen opelucid city -Cannot use bike on route 10 -Maybe put some of them items/hidden items from the original route 10 there from the first BW Idk figured I'd leave this here because I really like this patch and want to see it be better. Keep up the good work!

Ah, thanks. Lol on a related note, is there some type of database that has all unreleased Pokémon and whether or not they can make the journey through Home? IE gen 1-2 event pokemon (I guess that’s just GF Mew), AGATE Celebi, English E-Reader Colosseum Pokemon, E Faraway Island Mew, DPP Hall of Origin Arceus, and more… -

Observation of the Level-Exp Bug Around June 15th 2023, 10am (UTC), it was noticed by players on mobile, certain Pokémon being sent from GO to HOME has the Level of 1 with a Level 100 moveset. It was subsequently discovered that in HOME on the Switch, they appeared to be Level 100. It was also discovered that if you were to transfer such a Pokémon to Scarlet & Violet, viewing the Summary Screen would cause the game to crash. It was around June 15th 2023, 3pm (UTC), that players noticed that this issue (level-exp bug), as well as issue where XXS from Pokémon GO becomes random height (XXS-Height randomization issue), were both fixed. How the Level-Exp Bug works According to a message left on Discord by Matt (@sora10pls)(Mattyoukhana), depending on a species' experience growth rate, HOME applies an incorrect experience value to the Pokémon upon transfer, with only the Medium Fast experience group being affected. An example to look at would be Mythical or Legendary Pokémon. They are in the Slow experience group, and they got 0xFFFFFFFF written to their experience. As such, they appeared to be Level 1 or 100, due to how the device deals with the value of experience. (Pokémon data don't have Current Level as a data point in the data structure; it is instead derived by the experience stored in it) As such, it is dubbed the GO->HOME Level-Exp bug. A 'fix' on the user end As described by Matt, move the affected Pokémon into a compatible game, do not view the summary, and send it into a battle. The experience it should have would then be fixed by the game, and it will become a regular Level 100. Conclusion The prevailing theory is that when attempting to fix the XXS becoming random height issue, Pokémon HOME borked the code for handling experience values to match the GO Trainer's level, thus creating this secondary issue. It is currently unknown if HOME will revert or fix the levels of Pokémon that were already transferred. (Pokémon that were sent into HOME during the buggy period currently continue to have bugged levels in HOME) Additional info: Background for the XXS-Height randomization issue With the launch of HOME v3.0.0, Pokémon from previous games could be transferred to Scarlet & Violet. In Scarlet & Violet, if the size of a Pokémon is the smallest or the largest (in terms of scale), it qualifies for a Mini Mark or a Jumbo Mark respectively. Thus, players would want to transfer the XXS or XXL Pokémon from Pokémon GO and obtain these marks. In the initial weeks of HOME v3.0.0 launch, players have noticed that their XXS Pokémon from Pokémon GO were average sized when transferred to Scarlet & Violet, thus being unable to qualify for the Mini Mark. As it turns out, Pokémon HOME has been rerolling the Height and Weight values of any Pokémon that had 0 in both stats (explained in Route B on this page), and XXS Pokémon from Pokémon GO were caught in the crossfire. Files and contributors The files uploaded here are contributed by @theSLAYER and @sora10pls. They have been dumped in HOME format (PH2) and converted to PKX via PKHeX for usage with the games. The OT, TID, and SID has been changed for privacy purposes. As these files stand, they'll be similar to a player transferring a Pokémon from GO and leveling it up to 100. In some sense, the only 'special' copies would be the originals (those that have the GO stamp), with the bugged levels, in Pokémon HOME. It is also important to note that the bugged originals in HOME cannot be traded via HOME. -
