I've played a few Soul Link's so far and every time I start my play session for the day it's always kind of an annoying process. Loading up 2 separate emulators, 2 roms, having to rekeybind the controllers every time. I was wondering if someone would be able to make a program that could make it easier. If your unfimiliar with a Soul Link Nuzlocke, heres the rules. 1- Any Pokémon that faints is considered "dead," and must be released or stored in a specified PC box for "dead" Pokémon. 2- You can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokém

Be patient, I am super green at this. Anyway, I got this shiny Charizard I looked on RNG to generate via Pkhex on my FireRed Rom. Specs: Timid, Shiny--IVs: 31//31/26/31/30/31 (I want this to be my starter not an egg) Whenever I put the data on Pkhex, it looks like the Pokemon is legal. However, when I try to set it on my party box, it's like the program uncheckes the shiny characteristic. RNG tells me it's a shiny Pokemon with literally the exact same specs. What do I do? Here is the screenshot from RNG with the data and the shiny mark (!!!) IMG_3271.HEIC Here is whe

These are Pokemon FireRed savefiles which contain a compilation of legit event Pokemon for the Generation 3 games (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen). These savefiles have been in development by several ProjectPokemon members since April 2016, but has been hosted exclusively on another website. As of now, these savefiles will be concurrently hosted on ProjectPokemon as well. The Genaration III Pokemon games had a ton of events, many of which are extremely hard to obtain today. The Gen III games predate any sort of internet trading, and the event Pokemon from this generation- 2 comments

Hello everyone! I'm on my way to entirely decapitalize Pokémon FireRed 1.0 roms. This will not change anything else but decapitalizing all the texts, not even changing one of offset adress. The final remaked roms will be completely compatible with all the hack tools or cheat codes. The tool I work on most of progress is Advanced Text. To do so, I need to make my own list of offset addresses .ini file for the tool. It'll be the long progress cuz I have to add 10 to 20 thousands offset addresses while I have just created list of nearly 5 thousands OA for over 1 month. I also want to d

This page contains all publicly available savefiles that were dumped from original FireRed carts, which were used to distribute MYSTRY Mew by direct trade. The distribution took place at Toys R Us stores in the United States on 30 November 2006, for only three hours from 12 - 3 pm. Each savefile is credited to who supplied it online. The recently acquired savefile that provided the missing remainder of the boxed 420 Mews is credited to PP.org, for appreciation to the group effort of those that helped obtain and pay for it. The 426 individual .pk3 files can be found here.- 7 comments

OK, first of all I'm new here, first post actually, so I'm sorry if I'm posting in a wrong forum. I want to find and change the number of trades I've done on my FireRed game, which is shown in my trainer card, since I could not find a tool that does this. After reading this article, I managed to familiarize myself a bit with the file format, and managed to locate some data like the Trainer's name, the Security Key, coins, etc. Now on to the problem: I was not able to find the number of trades anywhere. I tried locating it as a string, as a "raw" 4 byte value, xoring with both the lower 2

HELP! Just injected a GBA rom of Pokemon FireRed as a VC cia to my o2DS, running cfw 11.6 and god mode 9. I've fixed the save error you get at the beginning of the game (but message still appears as per usual), and used gm9 to dump the save file to my SD card. I tried to open the save file (linked here) to edit using PkHex but I get this error message, and it just opens to my default save (pokemon sun). I've tried changing the file extension to .pk3, .sav (instead of .gbavc.sav) and even .pk7, but I still get the error. I was hoping someone would know a way of fixing this, or otherwise an

Hi everybody! I need your help. Anyone have cheats that can modify the stats of pokémon in Fire Red? I may have easily found out on the internet the gameshark code for max all stats of party pokémon in FR - LF, but which I need is code for max each stats of a pokémon. I searched out max each stats only in Ruby, but not in FR-LG. 1st Pkm max all stats in FireRed: 38A014382724 3FF453949219 => This code set HP/Atk/Def/Spc.Atk/Spc.Def/Spd of your first pokémon to 999 points 1st Pkm max each stats in Ruby: 830043B8 03E7 (999 HP) 830043BA 03E7 (999 Atk) 830043BC 03E7 (999 Def)

Does anyone know if there's a gen 3 save editor tool for firered and leafgreen which is able to view the roamer legendary beast's stats (suicune/entei/raikou)? I just thought if there's one as I'm trying to shiny hunt the roaming suicune on my leafgreen and looking for other ways of determining its stats without encountering it in the wild

So I've injected a region-free cia of FireRed into my system, and it works fine (aside from the obligatory 'save file is corrupted' message that does nothing at all) But when I go to back it up via JKSM to do some editing, I get an error stating 'error opening save archive'. I tested with a USA version of LeafGreen, and got the same result, however the cias of Yellow and Crystal work just fine. I also have a cia of Emerald that I have yet to test, but I'd imagine it would get the same result. Is it something about the GBA games that messes things up? How can I fix it? EDIT: I managed to s

I had an idea to make a ROM edit, in hope that it'll be a good one for my first try. I've almost finished the long part on Advance map, and soon when I get back home I'll download advance text. But it's gonna be something similar to what you'd call an impossible mode. There will be a storyline of some sort, which i have a brief idea of, but it's not completely thought through yet.. But there are a few problems that i came across. One of which i have posted on ROM editing help.

[video=youtube;-ws3NI-xWTo] This patch does exactly what you think it does. Every pokemon will suddenly only know metronome, and the same goes for enemy trainers. If you want to put strategy aside and just be a spectator to pokemon playing itself for an hour or two, this is the mod you're looking for. The mod is completed, though only playtested once, so there might be a bug or two. Important features: Metronome now has 40PP. Every pokemon can learn all the HMs, but beside Flash (which is now splash) all the HMs have the same effect as metronome. All gym leader battles, rival battl

All images in this post are conceptual images put together in Paint and Paint.net, not images from the actual game. Hello and thank you for reading about my concept on Pokemon Vysinni! Pokemon Vysinni is a rom hack of Pokemon FireRed. I am not a very skilled Rom hacker for the most part but I can still do quite a bit even without the knowledge of editing a Pokemon game. I am recruiting a development team to help me insert sprites and other various things. If you would like to help make the game, read about my concept of the game below! I choose Braviary as the games mascot because the gam

Introduction Hi, I'm DarkRisingGirl & This is POKEMON Dark Rising. This is my 2nd attempt to complete a full hack with a new epic story, new characters, and a new region. I've always felt the Pokemon series needed a much stronger impact with story-telling & that's what this hack is all about. Within the hack(look to features for more information) you'll encounter pokemon from all 5 generations, the newest attacks, a brand new deep storyline evolving many characters with actual emotions compelling them to move foward, and last but not least, 2 regions with 16 badges & 1 final boss
