  1. I hope by exclusive you mean non-important stuff. Or else it's more commercialism for the DSi- oh wait. It's Nintendo! I'm doomed, aren't I?
  2. But on the flip side, other people who have older models of the DS won't like that.

  5. No need to worry. I'm sure all DS games are compatible in ALL DS models, just as how all GBA games were compatible with all GBA models (original or SP)...

  8. Not going to happen >_< They gave Typhlosion GYRO BALL (how much more useless of an attack are they going to give?)... and since it's Gamefreak, they'll do even stupider things It's Meganium that I'm especially worried about... she'll be REALLY hard to use in-game.
  9. ... you may not like the prospect of Hoenn, but Hoenn had the best Pokemon for competitive battles. The starters were especially good for battling (no more rearrange Kanto starter's stats to get Johto starters!) and Swampert is still one of the most used Pokemon today, thanks to its typing and relatively great stat distribution. And I'll quote something I said about Johto starters before:
  10. Yeah, you know what's funny? I was laughing at the suicide fairies too My Feebas is almost guaranteed to take down at least one Pokemon though... she has never failed so far
  11. Red's roster in GSC is based off Yellow version, while Green's (Blue in America) roster is strangely based off his RBY party (without the starter). Pikachu- Yellow starter Espeon- Eevee in Celadon, Red made it happy Snorlax- the Snorlax blocking Cycling Road Venusaur- the girl in Cerulean City in the house to the left of the Pokemon Center Charizard- the guy at the top of Nugget Bridge near the Thunder Wave TM Blastoise- Officer Jenny in Vermilion City
  12. Celebi should stay an event Poke... and I kinda prefer the old GSC method better... I don't want an encyclopedia limiting my chance to get to Kanto or something. That would be very disappointing. We don't need a new Johto dex anyhow... that would screw up some people's lineup. No Charizard and Aerodactyl? Say goodbye to some integral parts of Lance's lineup. It should all stay put. Just like before, I'm hoping we're able to access Kanto even without seeing everyone. A new Johto Dex would detriment Lance's team and add unwelcome Hoenn/Sinnoh monsters in.
  13. I REALLY hate to break it to you, but... http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=706 Oh yeah, but Greencat is missing "Serious" nature... which is another one of those neutral natures anyways.
  14. Flygon... maybe, but a little iffy about that. I don't want to go too Hoenn-esque... and I'd like their teams to be mostly Kanto/Johto, but maybe. Flygon is up for suggestion
  15. Another one of my favorite types... sigh. I seriously cannot choose in this one. But if I have to... [sprite]144[/sprite] or [sprite]478[/sprite] or [sprite]471[/sprite] or [sprite]461[/sprite] or [sprite]460[/sprite] or [sprite]131[/sprite] or... just EVERYONE!
  16. It's much easier in Route 119 in Hoenn than that underground lake in Mt. Coronet... that lake is HUGE. I do NOT have the patience to fish one.
  17. Blah. There's no way they'll allow you to see Celebi or the other twin of your guardian bird (Ho-oh or Lugia) anyways... so hopefully none of that. By odd coincidence, I was thinking about those two as well. Feraligatr is the "dragon" of the Johto starters (in the same manner Charizard is of Kanto and Sceptile is of Hoenn) and Tyranitar is another pseudolegendary. I'm still pondering... but for now, his roster stays in-tact. Any suggestion for rematches are welcome. I'm thinking of Gyarados/Aerodactyl/Charizard/Salamence/Tyranitar/Dragonite as his final one... but anything is open ATM.
  18. I think they should just keep that 251 Pokemon Pokedex... I don't see the point of changing it to become D/P/P style "See all Pokemon to get national dex" criteria... Now I'm pondering if I should upload comparison videos for the E4...
  19. I had no idea something coming from a base SpAtk of 55 would destroy a Salamence in one blow -__-
  20. Arbok? For the champion? With a stat spread like this: 60/85/69/65/79/80 ... I don't think that'd be a wise idea. Stick that cobra with the Rockets Milotic is a Gen III Pokemon, so I doubt it's allowed to be included. Kingdra... I'm still thinking about that one, but Kingdra seems to be something Lance's cousin Clair can claim using over Lance. So I'll leave it Clair exclusive ATM (although FR/LG's rematch Lance was using Kingdra... could he have borrowed one?)
  21. LOL I know that the purpose is too specialized X_X But yeah, you are able to transfer them into Gen IV carts anyways, so why bother?
  22. Why not? Why would we limit the dragon trainer like that? It won't be a Johto-dex, I'm sure. It'll be like the original: all 251... even if you won't see the others. But really... no Charizard and no Aerodactyl? What would the champion have... hmmm... Gyarados Gyarados Gyarados Dragonite Dragonite Dragonite ... THAT. IS. BORING.
  23. QFT. Added comparison videos. Watch to see their original roster. But I'm using Shiny Gold, so it's not a true comparison ><
  24. I don't think that's the right word you want to use You mean to say EXTREMELY BORING I know, it's disappointing that there were only 4 types of Ghost and Dragons in GSC, but even then... I'd leave it the way it is. I only gave Morty a Misdreavus because Gastly is boring >_< This thread is only wishful thinking... but I think many people would like it this way. I'm about to upload battle videos against Shiny Gold Gym Leaders and place them in the front post (stupid critical hits for Miltank!) and show you what they originally were so you guys can compare. Just wait and I'll give you the sign
  25. Oh boy. This looks fun... Edit out the unnecessary parts. R/S/E: Q. Where do I get the HM for Cut?! A. There is a house in Rustboro City labeled "The Cut Master". It's to the left of Rustboro's Pokemon Center. To use it, you need Rustboro's Gym Badge. However, please note that Cut is NOT necessary to complete the game. Q. Where do I find Flash? A. At the cave at the north of Dewford, talk to the hiker (the big man) near the entrance and he will give it to you. I believe you need to obtain Dewford's Gym Badge first to use it. Flash is not necessary to help you complete the game, but it alleviates things in the dark. Q. AHHH! I've been looking for the HM for Rock Smash everywhere! Where is that? A. In Mauville City look for a house near the Pokemart. There should be a scientist in a house and he will give you HM06 (Rock Smash). To use it, you must obtain Mauville's Gym Badge. Q. HELP ME! I can't find Strength ANYWHERE! A. All right all right! Did you get HM06 Rock Smash? If you did, good. If not, read the above question. Now go west of Mauville to Verdanturf Town and go inside the cave. Inside you'll see a karate man and a woman separated by two rocks. Now do you have a Rock Smash user? Did you also beat Mauville's Gym Leader Watson? If you did both, good. Now proceed to smash the rocks and the karate man will thank you and give you HM04 (Strength). You'll need Lavaridge's Gym Badge to use it though. Q. What about HM03 Surf? Where do I find that? A. After beating Norman your dad, go to the house west of the gym in Petalsburg and talk to the man. He'll give you HM03. Q. Gimme Dive NAO. A. No. Q. Please? A. No. Q. Fine, can I please know where to find HM08 Dive? A. Much better. Once you surf to Mossdeep City, go to the house to the most northwest area. It is Steven's house, and he will give you the HM for Dive. You need to defeat Mossdeep's gym leaders to use it though. Q. Where do I find HM07 Waterfall? A. You will find it inside Sootopolis's Cave of Origins. Oddly, you need to actually find the item and no one will hand it to you. You will need to beat Sootopolis's Gym Leader to use it though. Q. How do I get into Sootopolis City? I've been diving everywhere and I still can't find it! A. First, MAKE sure you have defeated Tate and Liza in Mossdeep, or else you are not allowed to Dive. Surf south of Mossdeep and try going Southwest just a bit until you see white rocks and dark patches of water. Dive down in the dark patches NEAR the white formation of rocks and you will find underwater grass (algae?). If you see grass underwater, you know you're in the right place. Keep surfing under until you see a entrance similar to the one leading to Underwater Cavern. Once you get in, dive out.
