Quick Ball has a catch rate of 4x from turns 1-5... it's like Dusk Ball in the caves, so usually Quick Ball's one of the best balls out there. It'll catch those generic Pokemon guaranteed. As for legendaries and others with catch rates of 30ish... it may or may not catch them.

I thought Hoenn added Pokemon to be the counterpart of the ones that were missing... but what exactly was the point of adding Aggron when there was already Rhydon? That confused me beyond belief... some Pokes that were supposed to 'replace' someone really wasn't. :-/ -

One Pokemon Challenge... it's easy to complete it with Mudkip. Mudkip is arguably the best starter of the Hoenn starters, and possibly the best starter of all 12 starters.

Anyone remember Stephen's Special Sweeping Aggron? (it wasn't even fixed in EMERALD!!) Aggron - Thunder - Solarbeam - Dragon Claw - Earthquake? I forgot the last move -
Treecko is one of the best subseeders in competitive battling. He's actually the best grass starter, although he's frail. But even then, I prefer Venusaur because of his tankiness. He's done the best job for me... even defeating a 6 CM Suicune for me one on one. And you thought Hoenn starters were bad... (do NOT look at the spoilers!)
