    Congrats Zmaster! I have yet to beat the Battle Frontier though. I'm sick of all the hacked Pokes. I think my streak on the tower was 20ish and got swept by a Quick Claw Guillotining Crawdaunt which NEVER failed to activate/hit!

    Erm, you sound just as cocky as anyone else. And our beliefs are at polar opposites, so of course I'd have to go on the polemic side. Sue me, but at many times, you sound much more cocky than anyone else here. You're mocking me by saying that I don't know science? Oh, believe me, I study science, but evolution is no science. Your modern science is filled with faulty assumptions and is going on a dangerous path. There is NO basis for evolution. So if you have many things that have the same DNA or whatnot, you'd say "oh they're related!" But it can also suggest the case for a common creator. *gasp* You mean... God? Yes, an absolute! What's the matter? Can't face the fact an absolute being exists? Honestly, I can't stand all the hostility against my belief. It's not that I have no respect for what others believe, but if they keep playing offensive on me, I'm inclined to do the same.

    That's nothing. Shoddy's random battles give me Black Sludged Sentrets and Metapods against the opponent's Lugia >_< It's all basically luck, I guess. And I think it's affected by the Pokemon's natures on which moves they are liable to select.

What exactly would paleontology, archeology, and geology prove? My biggest beef against modern science is that they FIX the FACTS to match their THEORY rather than do the logical: fix the THEORY to match the FACTS. If you could show me specific examples, I'd be glad to oblige. It really is. There's also time's mother, nature, who does the selecting. I guess we have two deities working through evolution. What exactly did they observe? Has anyone seen a pine tree become a dog or something? We need observations: it's not exactly working out. Mutation is taking away genes or substituting an existing gene for another. There is no addition in mutation so it's not going to work. You won't change a fruitfly into a hummingbird no matter how much genes your goddess Nature and your god Time will do. Oh yes, Water is H2O, right? Why is it that two Hydrogens and one Oxygen only results in mixture but not exactly water? Something's missing here, don't you think? Some stuff in science you can't prove. Dolphins have sex for pleasure? How do you know? People give me this explanation: "because they do it for a long time". So? What if they needed longer time to procreate? It's not going to explain the level of pleasure at all! More baseless assumptions really. Yes, science MUST try to falsify their own ideas... but this evolution thing is being taught as FACT when it is NOT. That disturbs me... it's this ONE thing they won't let go! When will these people give it up?

    I think they'll add in a move relearner so you can STILL get both Aeroblast Lugia and Sacred Fire Ho-oh. The D/P/P movepool has Lugia and Ho-oh learn their signature moves at much higher levels, so even without a move relearner, it may still be possible to get both of them with their signature moves. Sacred Fire Ho-oh in the Johto League was OVERKILL

    As in Bonsly and Munchlax and the likes? Probably. They did that in FR/LG... and it's Gamefreak we're talking about. Anything could happen. The fact that you need incense to breed the newer baby forms means they'll just put the incense out of reach or something.

    The fossil records only exist in textbooks. You won't find it anywhere on Earth. Claims that it is found is usually spurious. And I'm glad someone made a distinction between macroevolution and microevolution. It's micro that I know exists... but macro takes HUGE faith to believe in spite of all the evidences against it. I'm of the belief that evolution itself is a religion. It isn't a fact because it requires people to "believe" in it.

    I don't know if this goes in Competitive Battling, Zmaster. I'll ask randomspot about that. Aren't Dahlia's Pokemon supposed to be randomly chosen? Correct me if I'm wrong. And yes, I HATE Zapdos >.< It is weak to Rock and Ice moves, so try stuff like Abomasnow as long as it doesn't have Drill Peck or Heat Wave.

    I'm glad you're trying to understand what I believe. People should tone down the cockiness in this thread because it gets nowhere. I tend to respond cockiness with cockiness... so maybe it should stop. I think it's very possible that dinosaurs coexisted with birds. And every animal breeders know that there are limitations to breeding. For example, you cannot breed a dog with a horse... but a horse can breed with a donkey, for it is its own kind. Dinosaurs and birds are FAR off.

    Ask in the official help/small questions thread next time I'm only in the first phase though. I believe it depends on how many you've defeated the E4. I believe 20 times is the number.

    Then why don't we make it so that HP Electric will be a guaranteed 2HKO? If you raise the special attack power, then you'll have to forfeit some defensive power. Suicune LOVES his defense... although + 1 HP Electric can OHKO Gyarados, but will you have time to set up? Even with no SpA EVs, Suicune will do 55.88% - 65.59% to a 36 HP EV Gyarados (that's the one I run btw), so pump those SpA EVs into HP and Defense if you want. I think it might be better that way (although I THINK those given EVs were made with Calm Mind in mind, let me check). EDIT: 96.08% - 113.25% with 120 SpA EVs + 1 HP Electric on 6 HP EV Gyarados. With Life orb recoil, that thing is as good as dead with Calm Mind. Even without Calm Mind, that thing could die with Stealth Rocks and Life Orb recoil. I guess that's good, but I'm just concerned about Suicune's defensive capabilities on that set.

    Wouldn't the standard defensive version be able to roar away Gyarados so that one of your teammates could finish him off later? I just did some calculations... and... against a 6 HP EV Gyarados, that Suicune will do 64.76% - 76.20% damage with HP Electric. Is it really worth it?
