  1. No data should change from when you hack in the pokemon, deposit it, and then re-withdraw it. Could be an issue with party data ... Since you can't do a before + after, it's hard to tell what the problem is.
  2. Hydregion has an egg move, but it was caught. Be sure to make sure the moves are legal for the method you 'obtained' the mon.
  3. Try this one. (edited in the escape seq)
  4. It looks like you don't have any escape sequence. Try not using a nickname as well, or re-nickname it in game to see if that field changes...
  5. Haxorus: PID: 76DF72ED (0/1) ID: 0 SID: 1 Wild PID correlation, check. Ability: 2 (Mold Breaker) Check Moves: Legal (level up + TM) I don't see any escape sequences after the name field / OT name field Haxorus\FFFF\0000\0000\FFFF TWIN\FFFF\0000\0000\FFFF
  6. In general, if you can hatch it it's better than a wild one. Source (RNG Research Thread) Take your PID (decimal). --> Binary. Take your ID (decimal). --> Binary. Take your SID (decimal). --> Binary. PID: AxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxB length = 32 digits (bits) ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxC length = 16 digits (bits) SID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxD length = 16 digits (bits) A+B+C+D must be 0, 2, or 4.
  7. It hasn't been tested whether or not that Nintendo's legality checker checks the 5th Gen wildPID<->TID/SID relation. You have a 50/50 chance of getting it right with any PID. It doesn't occur for eggs. As said in many places, if you catch one with the intended ability and nature naturally and then change the IVs/Nature, you are 100% safe from getting rejected. PID and IVs are from two different RNGs. Nature nor IVs have any relation to a 5th gen PID.
  8. Just going to clarify that the 0x85 encounter hex being "Egg/Pal Park/Event" always in gen 5 is due to the value not being used. 0x85 == Egg/Pal Park/Event = 00, which is zero (can also mean unused). If it has Black / White as its Hometown, it is unused, not zero (they are the same thing essentially). I haven't seen anything that proves otherwise. Codr, if thou be lurking, make it that if B/W is the hometown, the Encounter dropdown is set to the Egg/PP/E and is unchangeable (grayed out). <3
  9. PIDs and IVs are not related in Gen 5 regarding Pokemon originating in gen 5. If they have hometown in B/W, they don't need a PIDIV correlation. The RNG in gen 5 works this way. Transferred Gen 4s can have a PID/IV correlation, unless they are eggs in which they should not. 4th gen found PIDs are not naturally occurring in gen 5, so that is not the reason. If the OP still wants that stuff fixed I'm sure jasterj or someone else will find out what the problems are.
  10. Or ya can just leave the PID field blank and PokeGen will do the work for you so that your 5th Gen PKM will always have that ability, even upon evo
  11. It has to set the PokeDex. PokeSav is incapable of doing that. For 5th gen PKM creation in PokeGen it will properly change the PokeDex to indicate that you received it. Looks like this was overlooked for Transferring. Technically this is a psuedo-bug for PokeGen, thus this thread is in the wrong forum. Codr will see it eventually, so no need to repost. I'm sure Codr will correct this when he has time to do so! <3
  12. Then you don't have a proper PID-ability for the gen you made it for.
  13. Changing IVs does not change legality, or make it illegitimate. Using PokeSav to regenerate PIDs with those IVs is the incorrect way of going about it.
  14. I use this site as a distraction from other work, when it's down... I mad!
  15. Could be the directory that you have it in, with the periods messing things up? Move your gts folder to C:/Users and try again
  16. Not for a few years, more likely than not.
  17. Probably not the problem, but you have a 4th gen PID type instead of a 5th gen. You don't have any escape sequence on the namefields. Nickname is flagged (I don't know what it is nicknamed)
  18. PID: 00FADF7D TID: 57216 which is DF80. Has to be a mishmash of a bunch of values. SID: 250 (Difficulty Value) = 00FA Trainer # Is 563. SID_TID = 00FADF80. 00FADF80-00FADF7D = is 3. Huh? Is Jellicent the 3rd Pokemon for that trainer? 3 is 34*25>>8 lol. Nature is 0x17 (23 Careful), huh. That nature calc I posted can't be right then! Experience is the lowest it can be for that level. Happiness is max. Met locations are unset. No OT, no Nickname flag. Straight up Jellicent. == From what that looks like, if someone made Jellicent's Difficulty 0-7, it'd be shiny That is unless the TID changes lololol
  19. No 5th gen pokemon are obtainable with their Dream World abilities asides from Darmantian and Munna and the (pre)evos.
  20. Nope, that part is incorrect The 3rd/4th gen PID generators have the chance of causing a mismatched ability and will always match the old convention of nature/PID/ability. If you leave it blank, it will generate a random gen5 PID that suits your criteria
  21. More likely than not there is no way to set a shiny, for regular trainer Pokes at least. I don't know how the PID would be generated for the trainer's pokemon, but if the game generates it there's always the 1/8192 chance that it would appear shiny with the IDs it has (it'd have to have IDs to begin with). Catching another shiny Pokemon from a trainer would mean that you'd have to keep its IDs (nope, it'd revert to unshiny), or it'd be using your IDs all along. tl;dr, no shiny trainer pokes with these bitflags.
  22. There's 48 orbs, for 7 eeveelutions, or something like that. Amount of Orbs for each generation of eeveelutions, what it felt like. Gen1 > Gen2 > Gen4 8 8 8 > 7 7 > 5 5 maybe? If it is 42 total then there's 6 of each. Level 1 you can only get gen1's, level 2 you can only get gen2's, level 3 you can only get gen4's, level 4 you can get any of them. Ehh maybe not. Correct me if I'm wrong, I played this dumb game 3 hours ago.
  23. I love these videos, it reduces the amount of questions and reduces the amount of reading. Lots of redundant (and stupid) questions come from those who don't read, and watching a video can be much more entertaining. Because there's no reading! <3
  24. Upon completion of the 4th level, whatever orb you have most of is the one that is the one you get. You can game it to easily choose which one you want by dodging orbs.
