  1. Have you tried using the save on the other as-is? In my brief testing, they use a similar, if not the same format.
  2. Looks like that's already a feature, albeit one that's not obvious.
  3. Unfortunately, sharing a direct download link would be illegal, as Pokémon Omega Ruby is copyrighted by Nintendo. What trouble are you having with decryption?
  4. It's possible. Are you asking so you can use Ram2Sav? If so, there's another option for editing that requires the same setup. First, follow this guide: http://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-installing-patched-rxtools-cfw-start-to-finish.390867/ For the cia manager, I recommend looking up FBI. Once that's all set up, you can find and install SaveDataFiler to be able to import/export your Pokemon saves.
  5. First, launch the Gateway browser exploit (works without a Gateway). Make a NAND backup, save it to your computer. Then launch it again and Format Emunand. This will erase all files on your SD, so make sure you have a backup. Now you can use RX-Tools to go into RX Mode. See this guide for details on how to update: http://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-update-emunand-via-rom-current-max-9-4-5.388692/ Because you don't have a Gateway, you'll need a cartridge with a 9.2 firmware update on it instead of the ROM. I'm no expert, but before going to all that trouble, see if you can use RAM2Sav on 7.2. After all, the browser exploit works for firmwares before 9.2. If you can, you wouldn't have much benefit besides being able to play games that contain a 9.2 update.
  6. When importing into DeSmuMe, be sure to tell it the save size should be the size of the imported save (second radio button).
  7. There's a way to make a save viewable in PKHeX, but no edits can be made.
  8. Please upload the save from File -> Export Backup Memory, and maybe we'll get an idea of what's wrong.
  9. If you set everything up properly, you'd be able to use RAM2Sav. If also set up a CFW (or Gateway), you'd also be able to use SaveDataFiler to make edits easier.
  10. In DeSmuMe, use File -> Import/Export Backup Memory.
  11. Try comparing two save files, one saved immediately after changing what you want to change. If only one thing changed, th differences you see will be what you're looking for and a checksum, which varies by game and needs to be recalculated before edits can be made.
  12. I've made ok progress on figuring out the checksum for PMD: Gates to Infinity, but haven't 100% figured it out. I've decided to post my findings so if any other researcher out there is interested and wants to can help. Things I know about the checksum: For game_system and game_header, the checksum is a sum of all the 1 bits in the entire file (excluding the checksum itself) For game_data, this is also true, but something else is added. In several cases, it is the binary 10111101 The checksum is 8 bits long, meaning if the bit sum is 0x9B80, the checksum is 0x80, with the exception of game_data. The checksum is located at the very end of the file. Things I don't know about the checksum: Where the exact bit-wise location is. If the checksum representation is less than 8 bits long, it can take a little guess-work to find this. The exact value that's added to the checksum in game_data, why it's added, or how consistent it is. I'm currently working on re-writing Sky Editor, so I probably won't do more research until then. Once I've done that, I'll release some tools to help with the checksum research, like my tool that sums all the bits excluding the checksum.
  13. Which game do you want to edit? If it's gen 6 games, you can try Mass Editor. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?44994-Mass-Editor-for-all-PKHeX-supported-files
  14. What version of DeSmuMe are you using?
  15. I posted these devices because they can backup raw save files, but some methods can also back up the game itself, so it can be used on flashcarts (two advantages are that you don't need to download it for ROM hacks, and you can have more than one game on the same cartridge).
  16. Export, edit what you just exported, then import.
  17. Which file did you open? If you opened a dsv or dss, try using File -> Import/Export Backup Memory in DeSmuMe instead.
  18. That's odd. Everything you did should have worked. Here's an idea, turn off wireless, clear your cookies, navigate to the exploit url, then turn wireless back on. I think that helped me in the past. I personally downgraded my system so I can use the profile exploit without the web browser, but be aware that there's a chance of bricking your system if you do so. Make sure you have a nand backup before even considering this.
  19. Right. I was thinking Gateway.
  20. Saves for 3DS games are encrypted, and because no one fully understands the encryption, an R4i save dongle can't be used.
  21. Unfortunately for the time being, the maximum firmware that injection can be used on is 9.2.0-22.
  22. @Pinkolol Looks like one of the files was corrupt. The latest update should (hopefully) make things work now.
  23. @Pinklol I've updated it once again, so hopefully an error message will show this time. Also, so I know if the program actually gets far enough for error messages to show, do you see the attached window momentarily when running/updating the program?
  24. When dealing with R4 clones, it's hard to say. Just make sure Wood R4 runs on it. Also note that the only thing a flashcart like this would do for backing up your Soul Silver save is let you use a MicroSD card with storage from 2GB to 32GB. The card itself does more than the ARDSi, but little more for this particular task.
