  1. <p><p><p><p><p>Feh fine, I might try and start up UU again, I haven't touched it since last december. My shoddy CRE hit about 1300 with a rating of 1600 - 1700 hundred, but thats about where I stopped playing. :F</p></p></p></p></p>

  6. He's right though, you have a Mixmence ( who doesn't? ) and Infernape weakness. Anyway try this out, replace Uxie for Latias Latias @ Life Orb 252 Speed / 252 Special attack/ 6 Hp Ability: Levitate Timid Nature (+Speed -Atk) -Grass Knot/Thunderbolt -Recover -Surf -Dragon Pulse/Draco meteor This gives you a solid Infernape counter, decent special wall to take out the now popular SpecsJolt and although weak to Ice ( Ice beam/avalanche ) Latias is bulky enough even with no investment to take a Non CB or boosted attack ( If you come in on a curse, Grassknot is a OHKO, If you come in on a Non CB predicted Avalanche, you can live through it and OHKO back with grassknot. ) Or you can use Thunderbolt which helps check Bulky waters and Gyarados. This does give you a bit of a Scizor/ Tyranitar weakness however the usefulness of this can't be denied, and if you predict a Tyranitar switch in, You can 2HKO it with Surf + Draco meteor, something that Surf + dragon pulse fails to do. You also outspeed Salamence and can OHKO it with Dragon pulse/Draco meteor, however switching into it is not an easy task as any of its STAB dragon moves can OHKO Latias. The set lets you take out opposing Zapdos alternating between swords dance and roost as heatwave does 35% at max, and getting a KO with stone edge. You outspeed all Lucario bar Choice scarf variants and get a OHKO with earthquake. He can wall weaker physical hits and is relatively good at taking on Infernape ( physical variants ) Heracross and Machamp ( that like ice punch ) . He's also immune to spikes, toxic spikes and pairs up well with Tyranitar for that purpose.
  7. Pleasure to meet you sir, I hope you do enjoy your stay here.
  8. Alrighty, that sounds fine with me. Just give me a PM when you can be on, I'll need 15 minutes to get to my school's library as the Dorm internet doesn't work for trades. I'm also going to dinner right now, But I'll be back on my computer at 6pm East coast time ( so about 33 minutes from now, Thanks in advance and sorry for the inconvenience. ) Favs.sav
  9. Space Medafighter X. There is no contest.
  10. Hello there, so I was wondering is I created my own pokesav file and sent it to you, could I get those 6 Pokemon traded over? I am supposed to create a team of my 6 favorite Pokemon to fight my friends, because they find it unfair to fight my competitive team(s). You can check it over to make sure I put the correct number of Iv's/EV's and moves/abilities so that everything is legit. I just really can't be bothered to breed anymore, after 2 entire competitive teams I've given up :F I just figured it would be faster for the both of us, instead of me wasting time typing out information that you have to put into pokesav yourself, I can just send you the pokesav file. If it's not ok, I'm more than willing to put the information up, but I figured it would always be nice to ask first.
  11. Lol. Ever think about using rainmeter or rocket dock? I just redid my desktop today actually, I'm using Gaia08 Vista port, with a fairly close Dock and rain meter skin. I couldn't find icons that matched my dock though, so I ended up using an old Gaia icon, 7 times for all of them haha.
  12. Thats pretty cool haha, wings on such a furry cat !
  13. I meant "Agree with Zarfur " I'm sorry. And to clarify, I'm not saying that there will be no clashing, no tension and whatever other disputes may arise from it. I was just stating that each particular belief does not invalidate the other to the extent that people say it does, and arguments can be toned down. Saying " I believe in science" is not saying " Religion is worthless and has no place in the world. " and Vice versa. Saying "I believe in religion" is not saying " Science is a blasphemy, the greatest of all sins, it needs o be halted and replaced with gods worship " Which is how people seem to respond to debates like this one. Science supports skepticism , but just as much relies on assumptions as Religion, the main difference is that unless those assumptions are corroborated, have a real world basis for that specific claim/proposition and can then be backed up and applied to ( or in some cases rewrite ) current theories/truths they are discarded because there is no evidence for them, whereas religion puts emphasis that it is faith that is required ( over sciences evidence in this case ) in the face of doubt and evidence to continue to believe ( without proof ) in those beliefs. Most people are also attracted to religion because of the sense of community and comfort it provides. Even more so in times of sickness, death, emotional problems and social dilemma's. They no longer have to think for themselves, God created the world, If I'm good I go to heaven, the corrupt will be punished in the next life et ctera.
  14. Jiggy has addressed a large majority of what I was going to say, and was incredibly on point about it. How are different faiths and religions "disgusting" and yet at the same time you accept anyone for who they are? I really do have to agree with Jiggy on this though, science and Religion are not two mutually exclusive beings, clashing heads over specific parts of each one does not make one or the other invalidated as many people in this thread seem to think. And I really need to stress that it is not an "All out war" between the two, and should not be an all out war.
  15. Well she is 6'3, so It is very likely that she's just tall, toned and well proportioned. Since she was infused with Chozo blood!
  16. It seems like your trying to "Wall" things with one of the most offensive pokemon in the game. Tyranitar's staying power is in his ability to stay in against most of his counters and OHKO back, surf? grassknot? None of these things can OHKO him without over 115 base attack/special attack and choice specs/band. And even then with sandstream up and enough defense /Special defense EV's CB BP Adamant 252 scizor needs stealth rock down to OHKO tyranitar, and if ev'd for Hp and def, you can't even do that. Tyranitar's only real weak point is fighting attacks, if he's not hit by one he's really not going down if he's at full life. Just ask greencat, my tyranitar somehow swept his team multiple times when we battled a few weeks ago, taking hit after hit with only leftovers recovery to heal him, while I dragon danced and swept with impunity. His more popular role is a CB pursuit trapper, hes one of the few pokemon with high attack, access to pursuit and STAB on it. CB adamant 252 gets 607 attack or so, so switch in on anything weak to pursuit ( and some things that aren't. ), except choice specs/band pokemon locked into a Super effective attack ( and even some of them can't 2HKO ) and kill them, sometimes only taking 40% from an attack.
  17. What I was getting at, is although Intelligent design is clearly not a science ( and should not be taught as a science, although Journalism, Debate, American history and literature are subjects where such a topic can be taught to serve a point ) Both science and religion both use assumptions, I assume that god is real, therefore I beleive in god. I assume that the theory of evolution is accurate to a point, and put my faith in what evidence there is. The huge point I'm trying to make is, unlike religion which is pure assumption, pure suspension of reason; science does require hard proof, to the best of our current ( as a society/civilizations ) knowledge after which every law can still be dis-proven if there is evidence to argue against it. In one of wraith89"s earlier posts, it was said something like " I've seen your science, and it's going down a dangerous path" And I have to completely disagree with that. Creating assumptions that must be validated to a point to even make it to the hypothesis stage, and then extensive testing must be done after which to even give it the title of theory are of the most logical ways anyone can go about making new discoveries. If we already knew what it was we were trying to find, we would know everything already, so saying that using LOGIC to figure things out is dangerous because we initially rely on assumptions is an incorrect statement. It would be dangerous if these assumptions were pulled out of thin air ( they are not ) and not weighted or tested before being published, however there is a real basis for the theory of evolution, our advancement in biology and chemistry are proof that at least some part of the theory is valid. Almost every new scientific idea is seen as absurd once it comes into the lime light, however unlike problems of Morales and ethics which are swayed by powerful speeches, noble acts and protests of spirit; the scientific community is swayed by irrefutable evidence and real world application.
  18. All of those answer's are shallow and usually biased towards specific social norms, it's also trying to apply human mentality to made up wild animals ( pokemon ) . I'll just stick with my answer above haha.
  19. Theres a quiz haha?
  20. http://www.sxc.hu/ http://www.stockxpert.com/?ref=microsoft for some cool stock photo's, and use these for good C4D's and Fractal renders. C4d's --> http://planetrenders.net/renders/thumbnails.php?album=1 Fractal --> http://planetrenders.net/renders/thumbnails.php?album=10 Those are some pretty good sites to get renders, C4d's and whatnot. Hope I helped.
  21. Something else to note as one of the main differences between "Evolution" and "intelligent design" is that Evolution is a part of science, it is falsifiable ( IE: Falsification ) and anything that cannot, or is not willing to be scrutinized as such is not considered science. And by reading a few Pro-Intelligent design ( creationism ) essays, papers and books it's fairly evident that the authors have no intention of ever believing otherwise, they think " God exists, therefore intelligent design is right" which leaves no room for any kind of scientific method or in keeping with contemporary terminology is not falsifiable. This means, regardless of evidence against a principle or belief that the belief itself will not be discarded for a more accurate or truthful one ( IE: thats how science works ) assuming there is adequate evidence for the contrary. That said, I am not saying either evolution or Intelligent design have been proved or disproved fully, but evolution is a part of science and if it is dis-proven, the scientific community as a whole will discard it and use a newer principle as long as unbiased hard evidence is found. ( of course not accounting for one or two adamant scientists, but the community as a whole ) while on the other hand, many creationist advocates have said, multiple times; " Even if ID were disproven, it would never shake my belief in god or ID because evidence means nothing " Now while that may have merit on it's own, this however does not make it exempt from the real world application and implications it has. It is NOT a science, it may have its merits as a body of literature, American history, journalism, debate etc,. but by self definition you can't classify it as science.
  22. Welcome to the forums mate, since you got 2nd at the regional's you should battle me on shoddy, Standard 6v6 Battle though. Whaddya say? Haha anyway, welcome to Project Pokemon! I hope you enjoy your stay here. :kikkoman:
  23. :FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
  24. Love to let you down - Life of Agony ( Not an Emo/fail screamo/ "punk" band. )
  25. Haha that was ignored. I guess since I just know stats and mechanics I'll use though to determine which pokemon I'm like. Arcanine. Arcanine @ Lum Berry Adamant Nature with Intimidate; Likes to thrash about 192 HP /252 Attack /64 Speed Extreme Speed Flare Blitz Overheat Toxic So stat wise, Arcanine is the definition of "not cut for top tier" only really having passable attack. ( Hint hint ) Unlike "OU" pokemon who are good at a lot under a variety of circumstances, Arcanine is similarly good, but caps out just under whats required of "High level" play. Average not in the sense of " 70% test grades all around", But a real average maximum capacity. I can learn things incredibly faster than most people, and have reaction time on par with olympic athletes, but cannot go past that. I'm stuck at slightly above average in everything. Sure I can read 3 or 4 x faster than the average person, learn multiple languages faster than some bilingual people, bench press 280 pounds blah blah blah, but thats about where I stop. Think of me as one of the people who reside above the Average IQ, BUT LITERALLY just a few under genius. ( my IQ is between 142 and 176 By the way ) Statwise "average all around" makes me seem considerably better than the majority of people around me, as I don't have anything in particular that I'm bad at, but nothing that allows me to stand out among real stars or other equally as qualified people ( as oppose to 130 base attack/60 base speed I would have 90 - 100 all around, with one stat that sticks out more than others ), but because of a small movepool ( in this case motivation ) I spend my time excelling at things that don't matter or are only useful under extremely specific situations even though it doesn't make very much sense. ( Arcanine walling a gyarados ) I learned how to solve a rubicks cube in 3 hours, and now average 22 seconds even though I only know 12 of the 72 Algorithms used for my respective method. ( Friedrich F2L ) I learned how to play bass in about 4 hours ( like basic chords, scales and how to hold and play it properly ) Which takes some people a couple months of lessons ( although its just moving your hands fast, which isn't really a challenge if your not...slow ) In the realm of the art world, I can draw realistically, copy whatever in front of me down almost perfectly ( perspective, form and shadows et ctera ) but cannot draw creatively and have no hope of deviating from what I know to create my own style and become some art "genius." I'm stuck as some sort of assembly line artist. In my high school years ( which ended last year by the way ) I missed 27 days freshman year, 33 days sophomore year, 45 days junior year and 54 days Senior year, but still managed to graduate with an average of 86 ( A B+ for those of you who don't % ) and get into my college of choice, where I'm typing this right now. But now I'm just ranting. I really would have preferred to be something else but it seems Arcanine is the Pokemon stat/movepool wise I am closest to. among a few other average pokemon, but arcanine and his rock and ground weakness weigh him down in a metagame filled with eartquake and stealth rock, much like my own crutches in real life. Easy to get over if played right, but harmful nonetheless. Haha wow that took up 15 minutes.
