1. He's one of those pokemon that need to be used properly in order to wreck havoc, his main selling point is that he can switch in and take a hit, setup ( swords dance > Rock polish ) and then proceed to One shot his counters and even survive a super effective attack from 400% weakness's. He's not sturdy the way something like blissey is, think more along of the lines of a pure physical tyranitar. Modest 252 special attack Celebi's grassknot and CB 252 attack adamant Scizor's bullet punch fails to 1hko rhyperior with Stealth rocks up, while a sandstorm is in play ( assuming he has Solid rock as his ability ). After a swords dance he one shots Swampert with Earthquake, and outspeeds the majority of swamperts as well. If your not taking this thing out in one turn, chances are you've just lost a pokemon. He can switch in and setup on pokemon like Bronzong/blissey and setup once, and pose an immediate threat to the majority of teams. Even worse, all one would have to do is attack instead of setup, and you may very well have crippled your opponents best counter to him. Being able to take a hit from celebi/starmie and OHKO back is a godsend to have sometimes as well. /end rant Anyway once you make some changes to your team we can then rate it better. :F
2. This has been my favorite game series to date with the current game in popular circulation being Monster hunter: freedom Unite ( or Portable second G for you japanese players ) And I'm wondering if anybody plays it? I'm at HR9 right now, but as I currently lack any G rank equips It takes me upwards of 35 minutes to solo anything Hopefully that will be remedied as I continue though.
3. he has good physical attack, not special. The rotom formes can also be spec'd to counter just as much as Dusknoir, but they have some useful immunities that help them do what dusknoir cannot. The only advantage I see dusknoir having is his ability to beat tyranitar with a fighting attack, other than that I've got to give it to the rotom formes as "ghost of choice". Anyway if your goal is to get Swellow to sweep your going to need to bait out common steel types and priority users, and then kill them. But I have to agree with what randomspot said, the strategy isn't particularly effective when the majority of OU teams are filled with Steel types and priority users, on top of SR almost ALWAYS being up. Anyway, make some changes using randomspots advice and then we can talk about more changes.
4. There are a few problems with Aero as a lead Pro's Fast taunter Fastest non scarf'd Stealth rocker Sandstorm immunity Con's -Is 2HKO'd by all of the common leads -Can do very little other than Taunt + set up SR -Always loses to Fake out leads -SR weakness + Low def means it will not be switching in to counter very much, even more so as it lacks the power to Kill things it can switch in on. As a lead It loses to :Swampert, Bronzong, Metagross, Lead Infernape with fakeout/Priority, Gallade ( Close combat + Shadow sneak ), Scizor ) Bullet punch ), Lucario ( extreme speed ), Arcanine et cetera, the list goes on. I don't want to TELL you which lead to use, but you should find one that fits your style but also your team. Anyway, as is your team has a few major weakness's. Zapdos Salamence Scizor Lucario Gyarados Heracross Machamp Suicune each one is bulky enough to switch in, take a hit if you decide to not switch and setup or setup as you switch out and pose an immediate threat to your team. Gliscor covers Zapdos,Lucario WITHOUT ICE PUNCH, Scizor, heracross and Machamp WITHOUT ICE PUNCH.In order to accomplish do this feat you'll need the following set. Gliscor @ leftovers 252 hp/ 216 Speed/ 40 Special defense Earthquake Stone edge/Rockslide Roost Swords dance The special defense EV's ensure that Heatwave and Hidden power grass do under 35% from the standard zapdos set's. Letting you alternate between SD and roost to setup, although you can just as easily Stone edge/rockslide it to death as well. You also outspeed all non scarf'd/Speed boosted Lucario ( and of course anything slower ) and get the OHKO with Earthquake. Earthquake also allows you to finish off Tyranitar and Metagross who may be plaguing your team, just watch out for ice punch, explosion and Ice beam. Now Infernape, while a good pokemon is not fitting your needs at all. Infernape cannot switch into Scizor or Lucario as after they setup, or attack to scout for switch ins Infernape is finished off by Bullet punch or Extreme speed after a swords dance from Lucario. The only way you can counter Lucario with infernape is to give it Mach punch/Vacuum wave or Earthquake, none of which are on your set. So replace him for gliscor to provide those fighting resists that your team needs in order to help PZ to sweep. Also If I may break down your team for a second, this is what you have; Lead Spiker + Spinner Scout Mixed sweeper Bulky utility "Star of the show" as people call it. If the goal is to get Porygon Z to sweep, your goal is to remove Bulky steel and fighting types from play, and then unleash the fury that is PZ. So a lead + Scout + PZ are necessary, but you also need something to A: Absorb fighting attacks ( gliscor ) B: Backup sweeper if PZ fails that also checks threats to your team ( ??? ) and C: Create a hole or opening for PZ to use to setup and start its rampage ( Bronzong?? ) However Bronzong only has 2 attacks at his disposal, meaning any of the rotom forms/Physical zapdos/Hippowdon/Swampert/metagross and the like can switch in, setup themselves and pose an immediate threat to PZ before you have the chance to setup. Bronzong does have the added bonus of stopping tyranitar for you however, along with Fortress. The gliscor set I suggested covers some of that, but swampert, the rotom formes and hippowdon ( who usually runs Ice fang for some reason... ) are omnipresent threats that need to also be taken care of in order to get PZ out and about. And thats not even taking into consideration Tyranitar, salamence, Gyarados and Breloom who pose large threats to every team if played right. So the next switch I'm asking you to make is to get rid of Fortress for Starmie, who helps you check dragons but also acts as a rapid spinner, and unlike fortress it has access to a recovery move and decent special attack. Try out this set Starmie @ leftovers Timid with natural cure 200 hp/ 56 def/252 speed Recover Rapid spin Thunderbolt Icebeam/Surf/Grassknot At full hp, with SR in play you have enough hp to take anything from salamence and Gyarados ( if they decide not to setup ) bar Outrage and KO the next turn, and in Gyarados's case even after a DD earthquake/Waterfall/Stone edge all fail to Kill off starmie. The last move is dependent on what your team needs to counter, grass knot tears apart Swampert, Surf hits ground and fire types and ice beam gets grass and dragon types . You can also switch out Recover and use 2 attacks as well. So now you have Lead Flygon Gliscor Starmie Bronzong P ZZZZZ Even with screens up PZ is not going to be surviving any real hits and setting up, so my last suggestion is to switch out Bronzong for a mixed sweeper/Stat upper that can help your team counter the Skarmbliss, Celetran and Joltvire / dos combo's, which will help PZ sweep the rest of your opponents team. The answer!? Well your team already covers a lot of it, but play around with my suggestions before making any real changes, and then see what give yous trouble first.
5.

Nah thats not it, I said I would finish all of those sigs, but summer has really caught up with me so far. Work + friends I haven't seen in a while + Girls is not a good combo to also be productive online as well. Once I finish em I'll be out of here though, just like I said. Only 2 more left anyway, I just need to get around to them...

6. I'm picking salamence because Wraith picked dragonite.

9. My hinge has no problem at all, the back plate wasn't screwed on tight enough though so it squeaked when I hit it, but that was a quick fix with a screwdriver.
10. The reasons you listed are more than enough to explain why I hate them from my point of view. But I will elaborate! Lucario is A: Used for the most disgusting furry anthro fan fiction I have ever seen and is drawn by hundreds of thousands of amateur artists throughout the world; badly each and every time. B: Lucario is a talking steel/fighting dog that walks on two legs and tells you wapanese things about your "Aura" like a terrible gypsy's fortune or anime character with too many plot armors. The fact that little kids fawn over him is of no concern to me, they are kids, they should be allowed to like their favorite pokemon movie character. And in terms of the data, the actual code for Lucario in game, I have no trouble with it. Its what people think of or say when you mention lucario that makes me hate him. Mewtwo - Mainly the reasons and mentality also listed above. What I also hate is how people think that saying your favorite pokemon is Mewtwo will make them think you have a "darker or more evil" character" or make you more badass because your professing your love for a "bad guy" pokemon with psychic powers. Drifloon- I actually just think this thing is weird looking and physically not cute, thats all. Pikachu- A combination of all of the reasons listed above and the fact that its a Rodent that runs around shocking things. It just seemed like it was a dumb idea really.
11. Pleasure to meet you, welcome to the forums and I hope you enjoy your stay here.
12. You didn't give us any roles for your pokemon and just copy-pasted Smogon sets right out of shoddy battle. Now don't get me wrong, unlike a lot of this forum I do like and use Smogon sets; when they have a specific purpose but to me it just seems you have taken 6 pokemon you like and put 6 "competitive" sets on them. This means your entire team lacks 3 important things for any Serious team. 1: A central strategy 2: The ability to play around and take out/cripple common threats in the metagame. ( IE: synergy ) 3: The ability to get past Simple weak strategies like Skarmbliss or Celetran and the like. You have a gaping weakness to Infernape, Lucario, Salamence, Gyarados, Starmie ( once blissey is gone ), Tyranitar, scizor et cetera. Anyway onto the pseudo rate. Hippowdon is a solid lead, for stall teams, but on a balanced team like this isn't exactly the best choice as it lets your opponent set up whatever it wants or start laying down hazards or throwing powerful attacks at your team right off the bat which can lead to a dis advantage. so Switch your lead to either Metagross/Swampert/Azelf. Since you've been using the standard sets just use one of them and find out which one fits into your play style the best as they all virtually have a similar goal. CB Tyranitar is meant to A: trap and kill specific threats ans B: Meant to switch into anything that cannot KO and hit Hard whatever is switched in. With that in mind you then would need something on your team to be able to take advantage of this hole and either sweep or begin a stalling process, whatever. You lack any such strategy so Tyranitar is really not doing too much for your team. 2 choice specs users, neither with trick. No strong Stat uppers. No Mixed sweepers. This means that the old SkarmBliss combo walls the majority of your team ( that is an A-B rotation between skarmory and blissey ) Its good to have a strong stat upper or mixed sweeper that can take them out as it also helps prevent weaker A-B rotation strategy's from walling your team. These can range from CM jirachi, CM suicune, SD Scizor, SD lucario, Mix Ape, NP azelf, to things like SD tentacruel, NP Toxicroak et cetera you just need to find out which one fits your play style and strategy. So please go rework your team a little bit and I'll help you more.
13. It seems due to even more real life issues we will be postponing our leave until we can find the time to do all of the sigs in the thread. We have a couple done already but we want to post them up all at once.
14. Then why not just make a Banner and see if anyone wants to use it? You don't need a contest to show off your "creativity" .
15. Hey Ray, is there anyway I could get a big Sav job done from you? I need three full 6 pokemon teams done ( I'll be the one using pokesav and will just send you the files if thats ok, as it will save a lot of time ) As I need my last real team for this generation and one team for each of my brothers, of which I have two. Of course I won't be asking you to do this for free, Maybe I could make you a Signature, Avatar and a Thread banner for them? I'll make sure to do them to the best of my abilities if your interested.
16. Why not use the actual character ∞ instead of a picture? I think I'm the only person in this thread to still vaguely like Pikachu.;; Because my laptop doesn't have a Number pad so I can't get that character. :F
17. Before ANYTHING can be done you all first have to create a Project pokemon tier system with a clear definition of the tiers, the OP just appears to just used Smogons tier system and have moved up pokemon that are "decent" into a higher tier without actually stating how that Tier is being used or anything of the sort. He essentially made Salamence/Gyarados/Scizor/Metagross/Tyranitar all Ubers ( thats an analogy, obviously) with his new placement of the UU pokemon. BL as far as the "BL" tier anywhere is concerned is a ban list for UU, and nothing more. It is not an in between tier for decent pokemon just under OU as the OP is suggesting with his altered tier placement. I am addressing this because when I first joined it was blatantly obvious that many of the members here also felt the same about the tier list ( IE: They did not fully understand it themselves ) and should be pointed out for teh discussion to continue. So think of it this way, these are the playable, tested tiers. OU UU Ubers is a ban list for OU, which encompasses every pokemon not in Ubers. BL is a banlist for UU, and encompasses every pokemon from UU and NU Now at this point it must be understood that OU and UU are the only real tiers, Ubers/BL/NU are Faux tiers. Ubers are pokemon considered too broken for Standard play ( that is every pokemon not in ubers ) BL's are pokemon considered too broken for the UU metagame ( that is every pokemon from UU down ) and NU pokemon are pokemon with little usage/functionality outside of specific roles and pokemon in this tier can move up if tested properly and working strategies/roles/niches are found or created. NFE's can also be used, however since it is competitive battling ( using the best pokemon to fill a role ) they are, of course, passed up in favor of pokemon with higher base stats. 2 day edit * Pleas, READ this as it is relevant.
18. Well its true however, if you don't need a new banner, why change it yet? It has only been up for a week right? And if you all didn't want to use it in the first place you shouldn't have had an open poll for it then. And from what I have been able to tell very few artists wanted my banner to be chosen, but it still won the poll and was put up and it feels like that may also be the reason why people want it taken down. Not to mention that a majority of the time having a Poll solves nothing.
19. Drifloon, Mewtwo, Pikachu and Lucario hands down. I hate them all about the same, which if that could be represented by a number it would be

Thanks, well I just like learning languages, it was a hobby of mine back when I was younger. Solving puzzles, playing bass, Drawing/Painting/Photography/Photoshop, Hiking, Reading, Kendo, learning languages with the rest of my time filled with video games or hanging out with friends or going out on dates are the things I do on a regular basis aside from school and work that fill up a lot of my time. So I guess it was just one of those things that I was really interested in because I was good at it and liked it enough to be able to study it a lot on my own, and take a class for it and not get fed up/frustrated/bored with it :F
21. Well the real question is: Do you think you need a new banner?

Lets see here, 4 years of japanese : I can speak well enough to get around japan and have moderate conversations with people, I can read all of the Kana ( Hiragana and katakana ) but only know 300-ish Kanji. I also count in japanese in my head sometimes as I can do it about as fast as I can in english. 3 years of spanish, but I only remember enough to find my way once lost, ask for things and get myself into trouble. 2 years of Chinese, I learned quite a bit actually as they don't have Kana like japanese so I know maybe 300 - 350 characters. 1 year of french, Italian and Korean. I really don't remember much from them, but I can at least recognize the language if I see it and know how to pronounce tones and count, et cetera.
25. You guys have really improved, hopefully you can take your artwork a step up pretty soon, just keep going!
