I like scizor Because he's cool, Even when he was a terrible pokemon in G/S/C and you had to use Steel wing/Quick attack/Swords dance or Agility/Hidden power Rock or Baton pass, and even that was sub standard at best he was just so cool looking I couldn't help it. ( he looks like an orbital frame or Armored core haha ) Diamond and Pearl also have the coolest Scizor sprite by far. Oh and Johto was by far the coolest region to date. Scizor @ Life Orb Adamant with technician 200 Hp/252 Attack/56 Speed Bullet Punch Swords Dance Super power U-Turn Now if I had a team made up of my 6 favorite pokemon, this would be that team. Either the Lite or DSi, the phat is just a waste of money. Both of them have their quirks, so it totally depends on what your gonna use it for.

Pursuit traps pokemon in who would die to it , even with its paltry 40 base power. While night slash lets you hit things like cresselia who can come in and wall you if you only have pursuit. Night slash is also just good STAB, while pursuit counter very specific threats. Also, now the OP has 2 leads, a ditto still in his team so I'm confused as to what his strategy is . " ??? "

Electric types are weak to EARTHQUAKE, one of the most used attacks in the game. Electric types have no immunity, and aside from zapdos are all frail enough to be killed by bullet punch/surf if they've taken even 15% of their hp. As for the pikachu thing, Lucario is just as much a mascot as pikachu , Look at that things Unique typing AND grossly unfair move pool. Thunder vs Fireblast/Hydropump is a matter of accuracy. 70% vs 80%. Blizzard is a different story. In rain, Thunder only gets 100% accuracy. \In standard play ELECTRIVIRE isn't that great of a pokemon. Even with a motor drive boost he's still not fast or strong enough to do much to any well built team, and it walled far too easily. Having low defense and being weak to ground is also incredibly problematic. After he's taken around 40% of his life, a NON choice band scizor can finish him off, if your Lucario/Infernape hasn't already. Magmortar gets Thunderbolt/Flamethrower/Overheat/Focus Blast/Crosschop/earthquake/flareblitz/IronTail/Psychic AND seismic toss meaning the only reason he's in UU is because of his Stealth rock weakness. Electric - 1 weakness, 3 resistances. Electric as an attacking type is really subpar at best, as it can only score super effective hits on water and flying types is resisted by 3 types, and is immune by one. Meaning there are 4 types that electric attacks do literally nothing against ( one of them being dragon ) Electric types were obviously given improvements because gamefreak thought that they needed to "Check" bulky waters and the like as our metagame is so centralized ( well was ) around defensive water types. And even then, the improvements only really helped zapdos very much. 1: Ground 2: Steel 3: Bug Yep.

The entire starting point for everything said on this website is " God exists, the bible is truth" how can this even pass off as evidence ( objective in nature ) for anything? The main argument is literally, because we believe in god and evolution leaves no room IN OUR minds for a divine creator, evolution is wrong. I'm not even going to say they have evidence because the majority of what they are saying is quite out of context and in some cases flat out wrong. Out of everything said in this entire thread, I find this the most insulting. I could actually write a ridiculous essay in response to this, but as I'm working on one right now for class I would rather not write two. Instead I will ask that you go look up Immanuel Kant and maybe research the other side of the argument a bit, because is nothing more than a Kent Hovind argument. And explaining the idea of social contracts, the realm of the spirit and all that other moral related jazz is not something that can be done without a serious essay or 30 paragraph post. I agree with you,hm... Metagross@ occa berry makes a decent lead. Even though it cant touch swampert outside of explosion, you are able to take out so many other common leads it's a contender for that lead spot. 220 hp/252 attack/32 speed Earthquake Bullet punch Explosion Stealth rocks Earthquake takes out infernape, heatran ( although you only win if he sets up SR first turn and you attack ) and a few other things, Bullet punch takes out Aerodactyl, weavile, roserade and way too much in 2 hits while explosion lets you take out swampert and other bulky leads after you SR up. The only problem with it is that you cant kill off bulky leads who resist or are immune to earthquake with bullet punch. But all in all its a solid lead. Swampert also works, but unlike metagross too many things can switch in and use it as setup fodder.

I said that Thunderbolt does as much as HP fire to metagross and lucario, if scizor is stuck on bullet punch Magnezone doesn't even need hidden power fire, and can get the 2hko with thunderbolt. If he does not want to use HO's at all, Flash cannon AND signal beam work. Scarfgar vs Sash gar ? haha, the only way sash gar wins is if Stealth rocks, sandstorm or hail isn't on the field and the omnipresence of those is impossible to deny. Poryz and weavile are worse choices for revenge killers for a few reasons, Neither of them are immune to spikes and toxic spikes, Porygon 2 is slower so even with a Choice scarf some things still outspeed him and weavile takes 25 % of his life switching into stealth rocks and has a 400% weakness to fighting meaning even mach punch picks him off. Gengar has 3 immunites to common attacking types, Normal, Ground and Fighting isn't touched by toxic spikes or spikes and has more speed than porygonz and more raw power than weavile. Or late game sweepers? once you know your opponents team, taking out one pokemon and weakening the others can put an entire team into kill range for scarf gengar provided no pokemon is immune to one of his attacks. The same cannot be said for weavile or Porygonz as Weavile just doesn't have the power or type coverage to pull that off, and porygonz's STAB attacks are resisted by a huge portion of the metagame.
