  1. Hmm, I'm not too sure about a GBA flashcart. It may work but I'm unable to test it because I don't own one. The way I do it is by restoring the save file back into the e-Reader itself because I bought one a few years back. I've been debating in my head whether I should classify the Lati@s obtained from this method as legit or not. I suppose the method still doesn't it make it legit but it's closer to legit than any other of the current methods to get to Southern Island without the e-Card.
  2. I uploaded a Channel Jirachi I obtained myself in the Upload Bin a few months back. I wonder what happened to it.
  3. As long as you have a slot-1 flashcart and an e-Reader, you should be able to have access to all e-cards that were ever released. All the e-Reader was was a chunky GBA cartridge. It has a save file just like a normal GBA cartridge. In a DS Lite (not original or DSi), have the slot-1 flashcart in and the e-Reader is slot-2 and start a homebrew called GBA Backup Tool 0.2 by Rudolph. It will let you restore e-Reader save files containing the stored data that the e-Reader can keep. I have access to the Eon Ticket without the actual e-card because of this. If anyone wants the save file or can't find it on the internet, feel free to ask me.
  4. I've decided to make a Negaiboshi Jirachi. From the Readme that comes with the Legality Checker, it is type 4; restricted or unrestricted. I've attached the Jirachi with everything I've done to the best of my ability. There are three things I'm not completely sure about though. 1. The Secret ID of the Pokemon. 2. If it was a Fateful Encounter or not. I currently don't think it was a Fateful Encounter. 3. The gender of the trainer. Bulbapedia has it as half male and half female. What does that mean? I have two quite reliable sources. One states that the gender is male while the other says it's female. Another source also tells me that it can be either. If you find any other errors with it please tell me. negaiboshijirachi.pkm
  5. This is pretty much my first competitive Pokemon team so don't yell at me if I have some really obvious mistakes. This team is focused around Guts Activation Swellow. Please help me improve it. The team consists of three UU and three OU Pokemon. The Team Spiritomb Anti-lead/Rapid Spin Blocker @ Leftovers Pressure Careful 252 HP / 140 Atk / 116 SpD - Taunt - Pursuit - Pain Split - Will-O-Wisp Spiritomb's job is to mainly shut down some common leads such as Azelf and Gengar who pose a threat to the team. It also helps block Rapid Spin if it survives for whatever reason. Rhyperior Tank @ Leftovers Solid Rock Impish 244 HP / 184 Def / 80 SpD - Avalanche - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Stealth Rock Stealth Rock is a key move on Rhyperior in order to support Swellow's Facade and that small amount of damage from Stealth Rock may help to ensure the kill. Swellow Physical Sweeper @ Toxic Orb Guts Jolly 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe - U-turn - Facade - Protect - Brave Bird Swellow is my main sweeper. If it's in trouble against a Pokemon that threatens it with a high Attack stat, I can use U-turn to switch to Gyarados or Hitmontop depending on the type. Hitmontop Spinner @ Leftovers Intimidate Impish 252 HP / 72 Def / 184 Spe - Toxic - Rapid Spin - Stone Edge - Close Combat Hitmontop helps counter Steel and Rock types. It's also a Rapid Spinner which helps Swellow out the next time it switches in. Stone Edge is there to counter the common Rotom who try to block Rapid Spin. Gyarados Physical Sweeper @ Leftovers Intimidate Adamant 156 HP / 108 Atk / 100 Def / 144 Spe - Taunt - Waterfall - Stone Edge - Dragon Dance Gyarados works similarly to Hitmontop. It weakens Physical threats with Intimidate and is good for type coverage. Common counters to Swellow are Rock and Steel and Gyarados can handle the former. Rotom Rapid Spin Blocker @ Leftovers Levitate Bold 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spe - Thunderbolt - Shadow Ball - Will-O-Wisp - Overheat Rotom helps block Rapid Spinners and is a great counter to Scizor and Metagross. Rotom is also an essential Pokemon on the team because of the Nintendo Connection Tour. They are giving out the Secret Key there and I'd like to suit the theme. Personal Opinion I probably don't have enough special defence and I may need to replace a Pokemon with a something more special based. Metagross seems to completely obliterate my team because of Clear Body which makes Hitmontop and Gyarados less effective. >.< Heatran ruins Rotom-H when it tries to counter the said Steel types so I need something to solve that problem.
  6. Download the Platinum version from Project Pokemon. Run the program and open your save file with it.
  7. I'm a little confused with what can and cannot be done with Mystery Events. I'm going to the Australian Nintendo Connection Tour on the 18th or 19th and plan on getting my Secret Key there. Will it still be possible if I download the European Wi-Fi Secret Key right now and still be able to get the PCD of the other one later? Thanks =)
  8. It depends on your interpretation of the words. I believe the Pokemon would be legit but the way you got it isn't.
  9. Mine aren't like that. I have many Pokemon that came from unhatched eggs from Diamond that hatched in Platinum also. The "Met in Place" value for them is where ever the Pokemon hatched. The "Egg Hatched At" value is 2002 which is "Link trade (met)."
  10. I believe that Suicune is illegal. The roaming dogs from FR and LG had a glitch where their IVs were ridiculously low. Also, they have a special PID if I remember correctly.
  11. Mine does not squeak but the two screens can be moved a millimetre to the left and right. =\
  12. No, as far as I know, having a PID that says unknown does not make the Pokemon legal in this case.
  13. I suppose no one has ever bothered mentioning this because most people simply make hatched Pokemon where the PID does not matter.
  14. I'm not sure exactly why PBR is rejecting it but there are multiple problems with your Rayquaza. PID doesn't correspond with IVs. Date Met can't be 2005 because D/P/Pl weren't out then. TID and SID are very unlikely. It has one or more ribbons it shouldn't be able to have. e.g. Classic Ribbon There may be more but that's what I found from my 2 minute analysis.
  15. I'm pretty sure whether they're legit or not is indeterminable. Remember, Unknown GBA Pokemon is shared by hacked ones.
  16. Erm... no. I'm pretty sure that isn't how it works. A secret ID is unique to the original owner.
  17. Yes, they are a little unfair but if you have a whole team of sweepers (without Choice items) up against one using them, of course you're going to get obliterated. You can counter Choice items using different kinds of Pokemon.
  18. Not necessarily. You can always use tools to backup the save data from the genuine game cartridge, edit it then transfer it back. It's easier for Diamond and Pearl because all the tools I know don't exactly handle Platinum well because of its 1 mb save files.
  19. My favourite is grass partially because green is my favourite colour and I also like using underused types.
  20. I've known that Ash was voiced by a female before the year 2000.
  21. You wouldn't believe how many times this question gets asked. And the answer is yes and you would've easily found the answer if you actually did a bit of research.
  22. Supercard DS One, CycloDS Evolution, EDGE (which I'll be giving to a friend soon) and Acekard 2i.
