These values also may be used to modify your Multiplayer Avatar for the Union Room and Wi-Fi. The sprite change will only occur between two Copies of either Heart Gold or Soul Silver. Details on this can be found in the Third Spoiler. Progress: As I did with Pokemon Platinum, I've taken the liberty of deriving a list of values to be used to modify your character sprite to that of another sprite in the game. The following code was created by the hackers on GBAtemp, whom I thank alot for their hard work. The code will work like this: Due to the lack of a calculator in the game, the alteration of the code is neccessary to change you character. Also note using multiple character altering codes at the same time has a high potential of crashing your game, so please refrain from attempting it. Here is the code: 62110DC0 00000000 B2110DC0 00000000 10025D90 00000XXX D2000000 00000000 First start by finding the desired value that you want. All you have to do is replace the Red X's with any of the following values and presto. You have yourself the desired sprite. It should be known, however, that although the walking animations for each sprites work perfectly fine, the only sprites capable of having a working running animations are the Hero Sprites for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver. Values 000~00F: Values 100~1FF: Values 200~244***: I will update this thread as I finish more lists. Also, here are some working codes that some of you may enjoy: Play as Red: Play As Platinum Male: Play As Platinum Female: Play As Team Rocket Hero (Male): Play As Team Rocket Hero (Female): Personal Favorite Values: Pics of Modified Sprites: Sprite Set #1: Sprites #2: Sprites #3:

I am not going to continue trying to complete this game as I got lazy. Since my mom crashed my computer (along with my backup saves) I haven't had any ounce of motivation left in me to complete this save completely. By now the game should be at least enjoyable to those who've already played and lost their save as I have. I don't feel like taking this save I've uploaded and completing that for real either, and according to the save its less than 79%. Plus this should be more than enough to more easily 100% complete it yourself soo... have fun!... The percentage next to the title is how much is actually completed ■□REMEMBER TO CHANGE THE TRAINER ID, NAME & BASIC ETC STUFF SO YOU AIN'T ME WHEN YOU PLAY□■ The listed below is what I've done in my previous (deleted and gone) save not the one currently uploaded ■ Trainer Card ■ Badges/Elite4/Red ■ Pokedex ■ Items/Key Items/via Dousing Machine □ Trainer Rematch/Gifts □ Gym Leader Rematch □ In-Game Trades (Gym Leader Trades) ■ Gift Pkmns □ Pokegear (Blue's # via Massage) ■ Legends/Sinjoh/Celebi/Spiky ■ Ruins of Alph ■ Safari Zone ■ Pokewalker □ Daily Events (SS Aqua Kanto to Johto/Indigo Rematch Mon-Wed/Clefairy Mt. Moon) □ Pokeathelon (Hurdle Dash 80.0/Pennant Capture 50) Battle Frontier ■ Tower (Single 105/Double 7/Multi 0/WiFi Rank 1) □ Factory ■ Arcade ■ Castle □ Hall I am recommending you download this save file ONLY if you've already gotten all the badges (which pretty much sums up the game) and are too lazy to 100% complete it yourself. NOTE:: All of MY pokemon will be removed except for one in party & 2 HM slaves in storage. Pokesav/Pokegen your own or trade/breed legits. I worked hard on my pokemon and I feel that the accomplishment of having your first kickass team(s) should be gained individually and not just handed to you. SavFormat: Action Replay Max DS (.duc) CONVERT YOUR SAVE IF NOT USING ABOVE FORMAT PKMN SS 60%.rar

Hello everybody, today I will be showing you how to determine your Secret ID in Pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver. You can also hack your game using this method, but I won't go into detail about that. 1. Go to your NO$GBA BATTERY folder and copy your save file elsewhere in order to back it up in case you make a mistake. 2. Open NO$GBA.ini in Notepad, and scroll down to the line: SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed ...change this to: SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed ...and save the file. 3. Open No$GBA (make sure your save type in NO$GBA is FLASH 512 kbytes) and continue your game. Save the game, and quit NO$GBA. Check the size of your save file in the BATTERY folder. It should be over 500KB (mine was 512KB). 4. Download the following program. You will use it to convert your save file: No$GBA --> VBA Battery Converter To use it, click the "Configure" button and follow the instructions by clicking on the buttons in order. In the text box named "New .SAV File" enter a name for the new file you will make. Now select your Pokemon save file and press convert file. It will create a new save file with the name you typed in. 5. Now open up your Pokesav program for Pokemon HGSS. Click the button that says "open", and select your new converted save file (the one you made in step 4). Your ID and SID should appear in the text boxes corresponding to each. That's all folks! If you have any questions/concerns, please post a reply.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this but I'm requesting that someone replace the Pokemon Platinum male sprite with the Male sprites of Soul Silver What sprites I want changed are HMs (when using surf and fly and when taking out the pokeball. anything that has to do with it) Overworld (walking, running, biking and whatever else there is) Battle Sprites (throwing the pokeball) Trainer Card (the pic of hero in that) Color? well, i don't think i really care about the color of the sprites, but as long as it looks normal and not... how do i put this... "not natural?" i dun kno... basically everything that has to do with the male sprite (aside from the intro vid, the credits vid, and when the character runs upon selecting the character when starting a new game) Honestly I despise the look of Platinum's character (No offense to those that like his style). I've had to bear with it through playing through the entire game... yeah... A Pokemon Platinum (U) with Pokemon Soul Silver (J) Male Sprites to wrap it up

With the recent confirmation of the long awaited Pokemon Gold and Silver remakes a question came to my mind when they announced the names, are they good names? Fire Red and Leaf Green go very well together, but Heart Gold and Soul Silver? I get the Heart Gold cause people say you have a heart of gold sometimes, but Soul Silver? Your thoughts?
-
When I saw that there was going to be a remake, I was excited. I got up and just, was excited. The questions simple, how did you react when you came here and saw those two beautiful remake logos staring you in the face? Were you happy? Did you yell? Say it here!

speculation Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Speculation Thread
Guested posted a topic in Generation 4
Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Speculation Thread Please use this thread to discuss possibilities of things that you think might or might not be in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Please make a note of confirmed information in the thread here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?p=50138#post50138 Some information from GSC: Regarding Pokémon availability: The game will most likely use the Johto Pokédex which included all 251 known Pokémon at that time. However, not all of them were available to be caught in the games. Unobtainable Pokémon in Pokémon Gold: Unobtainable Pokémon in Pokémon Silver It's also possible that the Pokemon included in the Johto Dex who now have new evolutions from Gen 3 or 4 could see those evolutions present in the new games and possibly a newer version of the Johto Dex. Or perhaps they won't be, like FR/LG? What do you think? Pokemon that have been introduced in Gen III or IV that evolve from or into a Johto Dex Pokemon: Despite being able to travel to Kanto, these Pokemon were unavailable: Out of these listed Kanto Pokemon, the fossil Pokemon are able to be found in the Underground in DPP, the three legendary birds are found in Platinum, but the starters are only obtainable by migration from FRLG and Mewtwo/Mew are not available in a 4th Gen game yet. Also, Celebi was obtainable through an item-activated event in the Japanese version, but not American. Therefore, it could be possible that a Celebi event could be in the new games. Perhaps with a GS Ball event similar to the Member's Card or Oak's Letter. What do you think about the Kanto starters and Mew/Mewtwo? Do you think there could be something similar to Birch giving you a Johto starter in Emerald? Or perhaps an item-activated event for Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave? Legendary Pokemon in GS: I think it's safe to say that the Regi-trio Pokemon will not be included in these versions since they were already in Platinum (as well as obviously being in RSE). Obtainable Pokemon through in-game gifts Rumors: * N/A ATM Keep in mind this thread is purely for speculation as we have no actual information to go on. What do you think about this? Do you think other Pokemon will be included? Do you think Kanto will be included (or do you think it will be cut since it already appeared in FR/LG)? Do you think more of Kanto's Pokemon will be available? Do you think Kanto will be the same size? Bigger/more in-depth than in GS? What kind of legendary/event Pokemon do you think will be in the game? What kind of Pokemon do you think we'll get through item-activated events (such as Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus)? Do you think we'll see ways to obtain Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi or even Jirachi's first in-game obtainable appearance? What other aspects of the game do you think will be included? Or what do you think will be cut from the original release of GS? I'm personally really hoping to see something like the Battleground from Platinum where you'd be able to re-battle the characters from GS such as the Johto and Kanto Gym leaders (and maybe even Red, if he comes out of his cave...). Let's talk about it. -
not completely... I can't edit rival name, the Pokedexes you can get, Events, Accessories, Pokegear stuff, seals, pal park, and poffins? The thing that edits the pokeball the pokemon was caught in wont change when you load the save, it will just say "Pokeball" instead of the name of the ball you used like the Dive or the Moonball also, the locations are Sinnoh region when editing where my pokemon are located, any johto areas like route 17 and etc are called "Faraway Place" when the save is loaded... These issues probably have already been noted but i cant find and don't feel like putting anymore than the hours I've already put into trying to find anything on this... yes I am a really bad searcher, if there's anything that can help with like the hex/dec values of the above said, please send me a link so I can make AR changes w/o needing pokesav, might be a bit more complicated but as long as it works, I'm okay w/ it
