Is there way to tell if an event on a Generation 3 game cartridge was received from the event itself (versus being hacked in, injected from third party flashcart, etc.)? If so, what is that method and what are some signs it is legit? Thanks.

Hello its me, MasterKirby1982 again. It's been a long time since I posted something on this Pokemon site.. Anyways, I am going to teach you how to obey Mew and Deoxys in Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen. Well... let's get started! How to obey Mew and Deoxys in Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen. 1. Open a Hex Editor. 2. Search your Pokémon FireRed or LeafGreen version that you have and open it in your Hex Editor. 3. Here I put a list about the regions of Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen except for the Japanese version. ---------------------------------------- For FireRed/LeafGreen - USA/English 1.0 version: For Mew, Go to the offset: x1D402 And change the 97 byte to 00. Then save it. For Deoxys, Go to the offset: x1D3EC And change the CD byte to 00. Then save it. ---------------------------------------- For FireRed/LeafGreen - USA/English 1.1 version: For Mew, Go to the offset: x1D416 And change the 97 byte to 00. Then save it. For Deoxys, Go to the offset: x1D400 And change the CD byte to 00. Then save it. ---------------------------------------- For Rojo Fuego/Verde Hoja - Español version: And, Rouge Feu/Vert Feuille - Française version: For Mew, Go to the offset: x1D372 And change the 97 byte to 00. Then save it. For Deoxys, Go to the offset: x1D35C And change the CD byte to 00. Then save it. ---------------------------------------- For Feurrote/Blattgrune - Deutsch version: And, Rosso Fuoco/Verde Foglia - Italiana version: For Mew, Go to the offset: x1D386 And change the 97 byte to 00. When you putt these values and save your game of Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen in the Hex Editor.. Now you just have to play the game and try to meet a wild Mew or Deoxys. The codes are ordered with their respective region in which game version or language you are playing. But hey... If you want to catch them... you have to have a Master or Ultra Balls if you want to catch them. Well.. here I end my explanation. Okay, I delved into Pokesav Plat for the first time and made myself an almost-legit Gamestp Deoxys. I say almost legit because I'm having a hard time getting the 46h and 47h values correct, I ran the PKM file through Legal.exe and it said the Pokemon's Country of Origin was invalid. Can someone help me fix this problem? The file's attached (you'll need Pokesav Plat to look at it). EDIT: Updated the file. The Country's been set, but the Legality Checker's still giving me trouble because of invalid trash bytes, which I know nothing about. GameStopDeoxys.pkm

Ok, so I've downloaded the Wonder Card package in the Event Contributions thread. There are some events that weren't shared, though, and that I'd like to get. These are the following: I alerady got them over Wi-Fi from people who went to the event, so take all the time you need to get them. The reason why I'm trying to get them is so my friends and my sister can have them. I think this should be the right place to post this, according to the warning message randomspot sent me.

To get straight to the point, the form selection for creating a Deoxys using Pokesav is incorrect. Take this Deoxys for example. It is Level 1 and of a bashful nature meaning there are no changes in its stats. It has absolutely no EVs nor IVs, either. Now here are the results I get from maxing out the stats in the "Stats Edit" for each Deoxys form. Keep in mind that this Pokemon is completely fresh without any stat enhancements whatsoever other than the different (incorrect) form bonuses. I would like you to notice that every single form yields the same stats. All the stats are the equivilant of what the "normal form" should yield. For instance, the "defense form" *should* yield stats with both defense and special defense of 8 or more at level one as opposed to its attack and special attack being around 6. I would like to know if there may be a value I am entering incorrectly or forgetting to add. Either that or I would like to know how to have this problem fixed if it is in fact a program error. I'm going for a defensive Deoxys, so I do not accept these "normal form" stats. EDIT: It may be important for me to mention that I am using the Pokemon Platinum Pokesav.

hey i down loaded the space c deoxys and editd it in pokesav to make the game it came from emerald instead of ruby and changed it to speed form then i uploaded it on to platinum and is the ot suposed to be pink or blue because this one is pink and i have another one that is blue i got it in a trade or does the ot color not matter because i went to the event but my emerald got started over by my little brother and like 3 years later i still dont know what a ligit one looks like can some one tell me?

I was originally intending on posting a poll but the poll would include 34 choices so I decided against it. My favorite legendary believe it or not is NOT Shaymin. My favorite legendary would definitely have to be Ho-Oh or Celebi respectively. What is yours? Post it here

I'm not really sure where to put this .. but well since this sub-forum concern "legality" so I will post this here >_< anyway I got feeling that Deoxys in the PKM DB in GenIII =-= is hacked i know the PID-IV relation matched each other .. but lets see the other things 1. it has invalid trashbyte (checked with latest legality checker) 2. see the value of 85h, it shows 02(tall grass) instead of 00 for "pal parked" pokemon so i feel that there is a possibility that this "deoxys" is hacked in a program like pokesav or using hex editor... I also attached the "fixed" version of deoxys from the DB but still it won't change the facts that .. somthin is not right with this deoxys =_= deoxys[fixed].pkm
