    It's easier to make a pokemon in storage anyways, since you don't have to worry about inputting stats. They will be calculated upon putting it into your party.

    Looking at the pokes posted in the OP (post 1): Aerodactyl's PID is class 1, but its ability is Pressure (change the PID to class 2, or the Lucario's PID is class 2, but its ability is Steadfast (change the PID to class 1, or the ability to Inner Focus) Those are the only problems I saw, so apparently the battle recorder checks PID vs. ability slot. I have made numerous legal pokemon from scratch and gotten them to get past the legitimacy check used by the battle recorder, so it is possible as long as everything is correct.

    The game is theoretically capable of producing any PID for an egg, it just goes about it in a different fashion.

    VBA does Action Replay codes, you just have to enter them using the Gameshark option

    For what it's worth, I can 100% confirm that a well-hacked (created from scratch with Pokesav) pokemon will pass VGC's hack checks so long as it's on a save file that hasn't been touched with AR.

    Timid is a fine nature for UU play, people often overlook its base 81 speed and 100 SAtk.

    By flipping through the journal with enough persistence, people have hit offsets of over 20,000 so it is not a reliable way to check. Hitting offsets that high is not practical, but it is possible, which is the only requirement of legality.

    Is there an IV check or 100% catch rate code for Emerald?

    I guess theoretically you could leave your game running for days/years before you actually claim the pokemon, throwing off the caught date/seed relationship, but honestly who would do that?

    I need to know which games the ticket events were given away in. For example, I know that the Old Sea Map is Japanese Emerald only, but I'm not sure if the Mystic Ticket was FR/LG only or if it was given away to Emerald as well. I know the event is programmed into Emerald, but if Nintendo didn't allow you to download it onto an Emerald game, it would still be illegal. I'm also not sure if the Mystic and Aurora tickets were Japan-only, or if the US got them as well.

    Thank mingot. He did most of it, I just used his research to get what I wanted. EDIT: I'd just like to say that Smogon's suspect test process is officially complete bull. The criteria to get voting rights for stage 3 are not even being revealed, yet they expect people to be able to qualify for them? I honestly don't believe the results of their testing should count for anything anymore, since they obviously aren't taken from an objectively representative sample.

    The more I think about using dates for legality checking, the year doesn't matter (you can theoretically get any year by adjusting your delay), but day definitely does. For example, for any year, my Manaphy was simply not obtainable between 5/7 and 6/1. For breeding, there are so many different spreads at so many different offsets, and so many ways to make the same IV combination on a baby, that I don't think it would be much use.

    I am hoping this will be cracked for wonder cards as well, if that is possible (I successfully got a 31/7/31/31/31/31 Manaphy, but that's because Manaphy eggs are created using method 1). I have been doing it a lot for legendaries. Also, date/time is now something important to account for when doing legitimacy checks on legendaries. Some spreads are simply not obtainable on some dates.

    If you are using a patched version of Platinum, it has been known to do that.

    Hopefully there will be a way to get Celebi that's actually accessible, as opposed to events that happened several years ago. Those of us Americans only got one chance to get it, and it was something very few people were able to go to. Japan got the Colosseum disc, but everyone else in the world didn't get it at all.

    Ok, I think I see your problem, and it's a simple misunderstanding about Pokesav, which seems to be worded bad. "Met in place" should actually be where you hatched the egg, and "Egg hatched at" should be 2000 (Day Care Couple). It's confusing for a lot of people, but I'd try that. His pokemon should not have hidden hex values, since they are from eggs with a hometown of Diamond. Eggs did not have hidden hex values in Diamond.

    Metalkid's program includes Ciro's Pokemon Maker, so if you just go to metalkid.info, you should be able to download it.
