    It would seem that way, although nothing is definite. Hope isn't all gone though. Seeing that Kaphotics and Hozu have both viewed this thread and have not given a definite "yes" or "no", we'll just have to wait and see.

    Because Windows XP is out of support, KeySAV might not be compiled for Windows XP.

    Try using a dry Q-tip or something to gently clean off the contacts of the cartridge. Sometimes that helps.

    There's a slight bug in Pokegen, where if you save your save without an extension, a backup will not be made. To get around this, be sure to save your saves as SomeName.sav

    Legal.exe is outdated. (And Pokecheck is still down for maintenance.) As long as you got the Pokémon from the wondercard, it's legal.

However, for getting Pokémon to Black/White 1/2, you either need an Action Replay, or any combination of devices discussed in this guide. As far as 2DS vs 3DS, it doesn't matter. A 2DS is simply a 3DS in a different casing without a 3D screen.

    Your source code was VERY helpful in porting editing over to these versions. If you look on my codeplex, Sky Editor -> Library -> JEditor Source -> Save, you'll find VB versions of your Java classes, along with versions that have been adapted to work with Red/Blue/Time/Darkness. Since it's based on your source, feel free to use it in your program.

    Resolved that problem through a PM. Forgetful me never posted it elsewhere. Right click on ~/resources/plugins/SkyEditor_plg.dll > Properties > Click Unblock on the message about how it came from the internet. Hope that works.

    Not that I have such a save file, I just want to make a note that this tool can inject the missions, since they're no longer available online. Also, please link to the GameFAQs save, so I can take a look at it.

    It is possible to extract, but not to re-insert, for the time being.

    1. It's only needed in Pokesav, since Pokegen is smart enough to fully edit the save with only a pcd. 2. No, legit basically means "obtained only with in-game or official methods". Save editing makes it legal, but still hacked. 3. Make sure each wondercard ID is in the Used Wondercard ID's section.

    It's the Random Access Memory where things about your game are stored. Everything from graphics to HP and other stats to the map. Action Replay codes change values in the RAM to get desired behavior (like always changing the value of lives to 99 for infinite lives).

    Certainly not in the foreseeable future. 3DS games have more security in the save file than DS games.
