  1. With current research and resources, there is no way to edit things in the 6th generation. Until there's much more, there will be no update to Pokegen, nor will there be a successor. I'm closing this thread now, both because the original question has been answered, and it started to deviate from the original topic, accusing other members of stealing work.
  2. The links died a while ago. I have mirrors of some of the things at the bottom of the original post.
  3. The EZ Flash 3in1 is a great choice. It allows playing GBA games from the R4 (more games on the same cartridge), backing and restoring saves, and backing up ROMs. For saves, you will either want this tool], or Rudolph's tool (which allows backing up ROMs and saves for older carts). (Thinking about it makes me nostalgic. If only my DS lite didn't mysteriously disappear.)
  4. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16601-NDS-How-to-Backup-Restore-your-retail-cartridge-save-file-for-DS-games Edit: mwahahahaaha, I ninja'd someone

  6. Try gently cleaning the contacts on the cartridge, maybe with a dry Q-tip. Perhaps the Powersaves left some kind of residue or something.

  8. This might solve your problem. http://us.codejunkies.com/blog/default.aspx?id=51&t=Pokemon-Diamond-Pearl-Mystery-Zone
  9. Bad eggs only happen when something goes wrong. There is no legitimate way to get one in any DS game, so it won't be allowed through the Pokebank.
  10. smitty is referring to how you are sure that the R4i Save Dongle works on Pokémon X/Y, when it doesn't. These guys know what they're talking about, so it's probably best to listen when they're prying open the game's save files inner secrets. Try to keep discussion more directly related to KeySAV, please.
  11. Updated to version 3.0.1, adding support for Red/Blue Rescue Team, and expanding support for Explorers of Time and Darkness. Check the OP for details.
  12. A friend of mine and I discussed what I could do with save editing for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, and thought how hard it would be to play as a Caterpie with a Rattata partner. After thinking about it, my friend decided to actually play the save. I'm amazed he got this far without ever being defeated (reviver seeds don't count as defeat). His biggest challenge is that Rattata's ability is Runaway, where he runs away when his health is low. Oran berries for the win. Huge image as proof. Spoiler alert. I've attached the save file if anyone wants to give it a go. It is for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time or Darkness. The only touch it may need is to change the player name with Sky Editor (or Sky JEditor) unless you want to be called "Player". Change it in the Stored and Active Pokémon sections. PMD TD ChallengeMode (Play as Caterpie).sav
  13. There's already a thread like that. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?38274-The-Newbie-s-Guide-to-Hacking-Pokemon-X-and-Y If you find a post asking how to inject, report it and we'll get to it as soon as we get the chance.
  14. It will become hacked (not legit). It will be improbable given just that data, so it would be considered legal, meaning it could have happened given certain circumstances.
  15. Now that Gateway supports multiple ROMs on the same MicroSD, you should buy the largest SD that you can, which would be a 32GB or 64GB. Smaller cards won't hold many games and really small cards might not be able to hold even one of the larger games.
  16. I'm not entirely sure what you're asking about saves, but this is what I know about the flashcarts themselves. The Gateway 3DS is the only real 3DS flashcart. All others are clones that simply copy the work of Gateway. If you want a 3DS flashcart, that's the only reliable option. The Gateway also comes with a cheap R4 clone that should run most games, so no need to quickly buy another R4 clone.
  17. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?38274-The-Newbie-s-Guide-to-Hacking-Pokemon-X-and-Y I think this should do. Of course, I doubt anyone will read it, but now I feel better about deleting those kind of posts.
  18. It's not dead! But no release yet. Here's a screenshot as proof that I have in fact been working on it (well, working on it, taking weeks for a break, then working on it some more). Unfortunately, I had to zip it because the dimensions are JUST larger than the site allows. Capture.zip
  19. *facepalm*
  20. A saved file that currently cannot be restored after being modified...
  21. Yes, hacking the 3DS is a must.
  22. Researchers are working on it. They've gotten much further than I thought they would, so only time will tell.
  23. Edited Pokémon cannot be injected onto your game for the time being.
  24. Welcome to the forums, *pKmn*!
  25. I don't know what the deal is, but WPF is much better about that kind of thing. I don't think it's worth it to you reprogramming the UI just so a user doesn't have to change a compatibility setting.
