  1. 128KB is the proper file size, but the game can still work with 64KB. Try using this to convert the save from Raw to Raw (128KB), and see if that works.
  2. Updated to version 3.1. It's a big changelog, so forgive me for not posting it in this post. You'll actually have to go to page 1. Gasp! Anyway, try it out, tell me what you think, report bugs, etc.
  3. Legal = Could have been legit, but there's no way to tell if it's legit or hacked with just the Pokémon data alone. However, some hacks that aren't completely obvious may get through.
  4. It's against the policy of Pokecheck to use it to try to make hacks appear legal. Hacks do not need to be strictly legal to function in the game.
  5. Sorry, it's against Project Pokémon policy to help put hacked Pokémon into the Pokémon Bank.
  6. Out of curiosity, would this be enough, in addition to the GTS hack, or is more still needed?
  7. Sorry, can't help you there (I'm not too familiar with iOS devices). Maybe make sure you have the latest version of the emulator?
  8. What won't let you select dsv files? You don't need to mess with dsv files, just load your ROM and use File > Export Backup Memory, open that file in Pokegen, save, and in DeSmuMe again, use File > Import Backup Memory to load the edited save.
  9. The Pokebank is pretty good a weeding out hacks, and this would be a pretty obvious hack. There is currently no way to edit 6th gen Pokémon, so you'll have to settle for legal 5th gen Pokémon in X and Y.
  10. I fixed that in the latest beta. Try out Beta 5 on codeplex (link in my signature). It's actually pretty stable compared to the other betas, but I'm being more sparing when it comes to official releases now.
  11. Unfortunately, no. Saves for Pokémon X and Y can't even be edited yet, and there's a whole bunch of people working on that, with a lot more experience than me. If they succeed at decrypting then re-encrypting the saves, it might be possible, but will more than likely be impossible for at least several more months.
  12. Can you save as a save file, restart the game, and load the actual save?
  13. Posting said key would be illegal under US law, so I'm going to go ahead and close this thread.
  14. This is what each probably means: Tile: static image that will appear beside a bunch of other static images (like the tiles in dungeons) Sprite: character that moves around on the screen Frame: individual image that's part of an animation Image: static image that appears by itself (like a Pokémon's headshot)
  15. sbin is exclusive to Blue Rescue Team, and I haven't seen any in any Explorers game. Anyway, I'd guess the data in between the tiles has something to do the size of each tile (not every Pokémon is the same size).
  16. It's great to see progress in editing this game. Good luck with your sprite tool. Based on what I saw in YY-CHR, it can't be straight forward. It displayed tiles side by side, and two tiles needed to be on top of the next 3 tiles..... yeah, can't be fun. Besides the packing format, this might also be applied to Blue Rescue Team, which appears similar in YY-CHR. (Not to rush you or anything. I know this isn't easy.) Now that I mentioned Blue Rescue Team, here's VB code to unpack the sbin files. Not that it's really related to the topic, but it's better than sitting there in the deep dark depths of my hard drive.
  17. Welcome to the fourms, psy_commando! It's always nice to have another Mystery Dungeon fan here. I look forward to your tool; there's a lack of ROM editing tools for that game.
  18. You can't. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16601-NDS-How-to-Backup-Restore-your-retail-cartridge-save-file-for-DS-games
  19. Try putting it into Documents > Datel > Action Replay DS(I) Code Manager > Local_Codelists, and restart the code manager.
  20. Pokesav or Pokegen can make AR cheats based on what you put in.
  21. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16601-NDS-How-to-Backup-Restore-your-retail-cartridge-save-file-for-DS-games For editing Pokémon and the Pokedex, you should use Pokegen.
  22. What are you playing it on? If you're in an emulator, you're limited by the speed of your hard drive. If on a flashcart, you're limited by the speed of the micro SD card (in which case you'd want to reformat it, because it should be faster than the legit cartridge).
  23. Welcome to the forums, shadow666! Out of curiousity, what language are you learning to program with?
  24. You can use Pokegen to make your own, fully customized code.
