Also waiting for details on other mons (like BDSP wild encounters) The old PKHeX wasn't checking the mon's PID against the fake Trainer's TID (criteria for shinies for Roaming8b) [The RNG generation actually generates a TID/SID combo, to determine if the encounter can be shiny.     Based on the work done by giants, I've implemented PIDIV data searching for Overworld8, Max Raids, Max Lair. In my tests, my preliminary testings shows that Roaming8b is working for me

    Not that I know of. For now, probably have to manually edit/replace personalinfo entries, and add in the models

    "Claimed Mew Icon"? are you trying to receive another Mew on SWSH? You won't be able to if you use the same save. Multiple redemptions allowed, you can just redeem it again..

    What Wolfie said fully applies. It just so happens that I'm in the process of updating my plugin, so just testing things out. I may or may not follow them; it depends on how ridiculous they are. An example of what they look like:

    Yes. Since the 3DS, file name matters for the file you're reinjecting.

    File name incorrect. It has to be only SaveData.bin

    Send the save over from your Switch using FTP. Very important, I want the save that you restored to your Switch that is causing issues, that is on your Switch. I don't want a fresh download. Also, I want a screenshot of the files in the folder that you're going to restore. As much as that is a sure fire way, repeated usage of taking out and placing back the SD card can kill the SD card adapter on the Switch (which is replaceable) and that part of the motherboard connecting to the adapter (not replaceable). I won't recommend it. I know it happens, cause it happened to me.

    Try setting the transfer type in FileZilla to binary instead of ASCII, then try again.

    maybe you restored the save incorrectly. (the way it's named, the presence of other files in the folder etc.) or perhaps your FTP (if you're using it) is shedding bytes from the transfer, resulting in an invalid save being sent back. What are you using to transfer your save to your Switch?

    Your game version is probably 1.0.0 and you restored a 1.1.0/1.1.1 save. The saves track game revision and you cannot restore downwards.

    To reinforce what Shady Guy Jose said: just because they are online, doesn't mean they are legal. Remember the original question asks for a legal Shiny Mew. There's presently no way to obtain a shiny Mew in-game in BDSP without the use of external devices, glitches, cheats etc.

    It's what we were talking about. However that is not permanent; it's missing ownership. Which we also talked about.

    There are moves that don’t exist in the game. The prompt you described fits that category. you can use something that doesn’t exist. The text and typing is there, but the effects and animation aren’t.

    There’s presently no legal shiny Mew for BDSP.

    BDSP has no HOME presently. But when it does, you can do that. 3DS > Bank > HOME > BDSP (if/when the support is officially added by TPC) you’ll require an active Bank sub to deposit mons into Bank. you’ll require an active HOME sub to transfer from Bank into HOME.

    Dev build is usually more ahead than stable build, and compiled frequently. It’s just no recommended for general usage cause there’s a chance a bug was introduced, and those tend to get fixed for stable. Yeah, I’ll take a look later when I get back.

    Always safe to ask. Some people stay fully legit, then later tell us they used a cheat code. Eh, if it is still illegal on the latest dev build, you may have to share the file.

    Look at PKHeX documentation, figure out how it checks the checksums, then do it manually. In all seriousness, I don’t know if it works in a Chromebook. If you can find a way to load windows apps, the feature to unlock it is in the latest PKHeX

    Regular Origin Giratina but the game script pulls a special model. Tried to RAM dump it, and it showed up as a regular Origin Giratina. Tried checking the form ID, and it's just 01 (Origin Giratina).
