  2. you could just inject the stuff via PKHeX... Functionally the games puts the stuff immediately into the PC/Bag/Underground Bag, so it's the same..
  3. Well, you’re creating a new folder cause you’ve never backed up a save before. For the record, those folders aren’t the exact save the game uses. You’re merely “making a copy”. so you can replace the file in “the copy”, then select restore, and bababoom For VC Pokémon, just replace the sav.dat with a valid sav.dat of your choice, and restore. That’s it. For Gen 1, and save file that PKHeX can read should be valid and can be renamed straightaway to sav.dat. for Gen 2, you might need to hex edit the footer bytes; the time stamp stored by emu and cart/vc slightly differs.
  4. Yeah can use either. JKSM has a 'Reload Titles/Refresh Titles' option, which helps if certain games don't show up. While Checkpoint is more updated it seems, if installed titles don't show up, may need to perform extra steps to get them to show up.
  5. Homebrew. Use JKSM/JKSV (I forgot is it M or V for the 3DS) /Checkpoint to dump and restore saves on the 3DS. Yes, you'll be able to use it. The only thing about your 'colorized' version is that they changed the color and sprites. The save still functions as is. I know, cause I played a colorized Red and imported the save into my VC game.
  6. No, like game versions. V1.0.0, V1.1.0 etc. You can't add wonder cards anyway. since LGPE, wonder cards aren't stored in saves.
  7. This isn't a "srm" you've been talking about. This is a sav. It loads fine on PKHeX. Just rename it to sav.dat and inject it into a VC cia. It would work fine.
  8. Hmm? Even if the device is banned, it can still use homebrew and extract and restore a save. The difficulties you would face would be to officially update the game revisions; the games usually update save revisions too, and can't use a 'lower revision' same.
  9. Use PKHeX to inject the wonder card as a pb8 into the game. Given you've been around, I'll like to assume you know that wonder cards cannot be injected into the saves, since LGPE. XD
  10. You can trade it to a Sysbot. Don't need computer to trade with Sysbot. Mobile Discord is enough. For future reference you should do that.

  13. A CFW Switch is required to extract and inject save files. If you don’t have that, the next best thing is to get a Sysbot to trade the mon with you. You should be able to google about Sysbots. :3

This is just over-generalization, and won't apply to a lot of people, but people who simply "request/recruit" skilled members without showing any capabilities of doing the work themselves, tend to have an "I expect someone else to use their time and make this for free for me" mentality. People who themselves have no experience developing ROM hacks tend to not understand the challenges that face them. It may or may not be related to what I've mentioned, but these projects rarely get actual skilled people. Just a bunch of people who are "interested" and "can't wait to play it". While there is nothing wrong with having 0 contribution to the project, it is sadly against the point of the recruit post In any event, OP hasn't been here since the month they joined.   15. did you install it? did you place the file in your Switch folder? It sounds like you didn't.
  16. just dump the save first, and upload it here. (make sure it's the save, not the ROM) Let's do it step by step. can worry about it all later.
  17. as long as it is a save that PKHeX can ready, the games should be able to read it and it should be fine. You might need to jump through hoops to convert the save or resize them, but it should be fine. Most standard emulation architecture uses the same save data as it is (cause it would be too tedious for the game to read the save differently simply because it is emulated), but the sizes may vary, so gotta check and compare the files instead of blindly dumping and restoring them.

  21. In the future, can you upload the mon, as well as the images, directly to our site? Our site allows direct uploads. Togekiss can only learn Defog in DPPt or USUM, using various methods. As your Togekiss was born in SWSH, no way it can have access to that move. PKHeX is working as intended. :3
  22. Via the in-game menu, not the emulator's menu. Save twice to be sure.
  23. It is known that some max raids won't have the light, as a consequence of the player having too many active. I've yet to look at your save, but what you described sounds like that. Deactivate all of them. Let the game naturally activate the raids. In the future, only allow the game to activate them. If you gotta edit raids, only edit active ones. Edit: Looked at your save, and pretty much more than the first 10 is active. Looks like I guessed correctly.
