  1. Yeah in that case you should get someone who knows how to use a solder iron to remove the excess solder without frying the chip. Applying heat to the solder improperly can potentially fry the chip that’s connected to it, not to mention damage to other parts. Tho the cost to get it fixed might exceed the cost of getting a new cart..
  2. I’m not sure if bridging is supposed to happen there. I’m assuming not but just in case look for other chips of HGSS online, to have a comparison
  3. Looking this issue online, and it doesn’t seem good. Here’s a few things you can try at your own risk: - Blowing into the cartridge slot of your device. Maybe some dust got in the way - Attempting the key combination on that blue screen to delete save - Restoring a functional save via Checkpoint/JKSM. You can find functional saves on our site. - (Super risky) maybe apply very slight heat to targeted areas on the chip of the cartridge. Maybe some solder broke and it’ll be good to have it flow back into place. Really at your own risk. Try to visually inspect the chip first to identify if such spots exist. - Give up on it. It might have died.
  4. Did you try the in-game method to delete saves? It’s the button combinations at the title screen of the game (I forgot the combination but I’m sure you can google it)
  5. Upload the corrupted save, if you still have it.
  6. Have you heard of necroposting? It is frowned upon in most forum etiquette. Additionally, it is bot-like behaviour to just jump on and reply irrelevant content in modern day standards to old threads. Those accounts tend to get removed as spam, so maybe don't do stuff that could get yourself mistaken as a bot.
  7. Interesting information, tho I do hope people in 2022 know that. Still, why you quoting a 2009 post?
  8. We don't maintain JKSV. If you revert back to the previous update does it work? Also are you launching HBL via the Albums applet or from a game?
  9. That's exactly what you did wrong. Many Pokemon, especially in Gen 8, have their EC-PID-IV-Nature-HT-WT correlated. Meaning they're all generated from the same value, and can be determined to have been generated from the same value. If you change one haphazardly, the program can tell that it doesn't match the generation protocol. TL;DR: You changed something that should not be changed.
  10. Nothing to do with us. They need to update their trade bot. We don't host their trade bot.
  11. @Kaphotics I think I've recently experienced this. Pokemon with dual abilities in later gens gets mismatch in Gen 3.
  12. @Kaphotics any opinions about this?
  13. It is preserved by the collectors with all the necessary hardware. The distribution method itself is not shared to the public for various reasons, including difficulties emulating the hardware. However, all the mons have been shared publicly. The algorithm used for PIDIVs of the mons are also public, but will require some level of technical skill to understand what it means.
  14. a. Either it's not properly updated, or you didn't apply it properly, and/or b. Perhaps you're using a species that doesn't update in both the base game and the updates. A few things you can do: 1. Mention whether you can go to CT 2. Say what species you're trying to inject 3. Say what gender are you trying to inject
  15. I was disappointed to see this thread bumped, and for such a meaningless post no less. (No offense) Everything Atrius said is 100% correct.
  16. Stuff that can transfer to Sword and Shield, you can trade with someone and hopefully they can get it done for you. Stuff that could not enter Sword and Shield cannot be fixed at the moment.
  17. Is the Pokemon on the 3DS or Switch for you?
  18. Upload the files to our site. And give us a non-shiny mon with the original TID/SID. A starter of that game (or those games, if the mons differ) would probably be the mot accurate. Do be aware that the final result would be non-shiny, as your original PID vs TID/SID resulted in a non-shiny (which was why you then used the code)
  19. Probably due to differences of timestamp. Remove the last line(s) of code in the save using a hex editor.
  20. Then yeah, you can’t legally have the unevolved form.
  21. Was the event ever distributed in the pre-evolved form?
  22. No need to post the same question on another post. Anyway given OP’s original question has been answered, locking thread.
  23. You need a hacked Switch if you want to run a randomised Switch game. if you’re trying to get RomFS and ExeFS folders without a hacked Switch, welp, sounds like you’re pirating the game, and please understand, we are legally unable to assist you.
  24. I’m assuming you’re using PKHeX in it’s blank state. just load up a save that isn’t Gen 8, or have the blank state in settings be not a Gen 8 game..
