  1. Wait for PKHeX to update, then use one from the encounter database.
  2. Gen 3 “Saves” have 2 blocks, a main Save block and a backup save block. So if the game tries to load the main Save, and the checksum is invalid, it’ll read the backup save. So it didn’t repair anything, it just has to load the second half of the save. It just seems that mGBA save size setting is wrong or something, so it only load one half. Still, glad to hear it works
  3. It’s possible their friendship and/or contest stats were modified as a “marker” of some sorts. While these stats are thoroughly possible to obtain in-game, it does raise an eyebrow.
  4. Just convert it to wc5 via hex editing. You said you know how to do that right? Or are you saying you can’t?
  5. Maybe clear your cache or something. I literally just checked on the go for you.
  6. If you can view these in PKHeX, and proceed to export them, you should be able to directly restore them into a legitimate game.. unless it’s not as legitimate as you think they are
  7. Just change the species down? It’s not something super sophisticated, since you don’t have to worry about memories and HT Name etc. literally manipulate one value.
  8. Out of curiosity, did you ever use the poke transfer lab to connect to this copy of Platinum?
  9. Receive your starter, receive the Pokedex, interact with the PC, then save the game a few times in game, before exporting it and trying it again.
  10. Do you have CFW on your Switch?
  11. without any kind of future development in the saves hacking department for the 3DS Gen 7 games (which seems unlikely at this point), that encrypted save is as good as junk. Just to double confirm, it is not from a Cart copy of Ultra Moon right?
  12. Hey no need to be sorry. Nah, the received hours/date is stored in the save. Only a record of receiving the gift is stored in the save. Changing that record won't make it redeemable in-game tho. Also, nah, if I'm not mistaken the meta is merely information the BCAT uses, and we won't need it for anything. Well, just to be clear, if you wanna modify the records, it's gonna be save editing. While PKHeX can view the date/time under their block editor, I don't think you can edit them just yet. (there's no plugin to edit them right now as well) I would say any date/time is likely fine, since it follow's Switch's date/time, not server's date/time. I'm under the impression you're referring to meta editing, and no, that's not what I'm referring to. The 'record' that effectively shows that you've performed the act of receiving the gift, is stored in the save. Like if you go view the Mystery Gift album now, you should see a few entries (if you've received gifts before) But it's just a record, nothing else. There's no editor for that yet.
  13. change the TID/SID combo.
  14. Little update on this issue; the changes are instead Event constants: 188: changed to 1 246: changed to 6 Then add the item to your bag and you can go get Arceus. (https://discord.com/channels/343093766477053953/631819428882808833/959235028280303637) To change them: Then Save. So for example, to change Event Constant 188: Remember to hit save at the end.
  15. If I’m not mistaken it’s possible btt it very very iffy? in any case just play on your Wii just to get past the roadblock.
  16. Typically getting the starter, gaining access to the PC, getting the Pokédex. Just check at each point (Also, I clearly don't know the checkpoints in Ranch)
  17. Using "YOSHI" is probably a play on the old rumour that Yoshi was programmed into Pokémon as a secret 152th Pokémon. It also helped to promote other Nintendo properties. The whole "RA" "RB" ""BA" "BB" is just something they did to signify the Pokémon being distributed by a different machine. Like PCNY(a-d), LINK(E,W), LUIGI(E,W)
  18. Providing documents to allege you received it for a 15-20 year old event typically isn't enough to cut it. Would probably need contributions and matching stories from other users too. Well keep your eyes glued on the various Gen 1 threads, any new info would probably be there. Until it satisfies a few factors, it probably won't get added. Cheers.
  19. Whether there's fixed PID depends on what the image says. Yeah in this case, the shown Tapu, Metagross, Tyranitar, doesn't have fixed PID. And the shown Eevee, Ash-Greninja card, Zamazenta, has fixed PID. As for rerolling the PID with PKHeX, that isn't a good idea. Some stuff have generation algorithms, so you can't just randomly reroll. It might be better to just drag the wonder card into the left side of PKHeX again, and observe if the PID changes.
  20. I made a slight edit to that post, so check it out. Anyway you have a nice day too
  21. Don't take this the wrong way, but do understand that I'm not gonna sit here and list every event that has fixed PID. You're gonna just have to take the event file you're interested in and load it in PKHeX, or load up the event gallery page we have here. For example, this is the PGL shiny koko Notice how it doesn't say fixed PID. And any fixed PID would be listed there: (Do note for Ash-Greninja's case, it can have any non-shiny PID, but once the wonder card is generated by the Demo, that wonder card's PID is locked. I'm using this image as an example of how I have it handled in the format ) We run the wonder cards through a program that would generate a HTML that our site can use. And the program checks whether the PID for that event is static or dynamic. So if there's a picture-esque summary, the PID data has been checked. Here are some other examples from other generations:
  22. They're generally random, but there's a few that is fixed
  23. Try transferring a different mon and let us know how it goes. also, let us take a look at this Flabebe file.
