  1. It is preserved by the collectors with all the necessary hardware. The distribution method itself is not shared to the public for various reasons, including difficulties emulating the hardware. However, all the mons have been shared publicly. The algorithm used for PIDIVs of the mons are also public, but will require some level of technical skill to understand what it means.
  2. a. Either it's not properly updated, or you didn't apply it properly, and/or b. Perhaps you're using a species that doesn't update in both the base game and the updates. A few things you can do: 1. Mention whether you can go to CT 2. Say what species you're trying to inject 3. Say what gender are you trying to inject
  3. I was disappointed to see this thread bumped, and for such a meaningless post no less. (No offense) Everything Atrius said is 100% correct.
  4. Stuff that can transfer to Sword and Shield, you can trade with someone and hopefully they can get it done for you. Stuff that could not enter Sword and Shield cannot be fixed at the moment.
  5. Is the Pokemon on the 3DS or Switch for you?
  6. Upload the files to our site. And give us a non-shiny mon with the original TID/SID. A starter of that game (or those games, if the mons differ) would probably be the mot accurate. Do be aware that the final result would be non-shiny, as your original PID vs TID/SID resulted in a non-shiny (which was why you then used the code)
  7. Probably due to differences of timestamp. Remove the last line(s) of code in the save using a hex editor.
  8. Then yeah, you can’t legally have the unevolved form.
  9. Was the event ever distributed in the pre-evolved form?
  10. No need to post the same question on another post. Anyway given OP’s original question has been answered, locking thread.
  11. You need a hacked Switch if you want to run a randomised Switch game. if you’re trying to get RomFS and ExeFS folders without a hacked Switch, welp, sounds like you’re pirating the game, and please understand, we are legally unable to assist you.
  12. I’m assuming you’re using PKHeX in it’s blank state. just load up a save that isn’t Gen 8, or have the blank state in settings be not a Gen 8 game..
  13. Just create one from the encounter database. The encounter database creates a valid one for you, you just gotta 'Right Click > View' to have it show up in the viewer on the left side. Looking at your image, you're messing up all sorts of different things. Things that can be avoided by simply not making mons from scratch. I advise people not make stuff from scratch when they don't know what they're doing.. Also for the record, you can upload images directly to our site :3
  14. Case by case. For the BDSP example you shown, I think it normally can appear there, but for the BW example I think it’s the prevalence of bad hacks edit: my bad, why did I think the first example was BDSP lol. anyhow issue addressed below.
  15. Maybe it’s also saved somewhere else in the save? it just sounds like the one you edited only changes the value changed in the PC, but doesn’t affect your actual current streak.
  16. I would also advice you to get to a point where you’ve received the Pokédex, reach a point you can trade, and have accessed the PC in the Pokémon Center.
  17. We legally can’t assist you as you pirated the games. Please understand. Have a good one.
  18. My opinion is that unless you have the skills to pull that massive undertaking off, I say don’t bother
  19. Properly save in-game twice. Close the emulator then extract the save from the emulator. then open PKHeX, import the save.
  20. For SS, each save basically has 2 save blocks. So if one save block is corrupt, the game can at least load the backup save block. In this case you needed to save in-game to have both blocks be valid.

    pikachu illegal

Certain events will require documentation to be regarded as legal by PKHeX. This is one of them. You may choose to continue with or without it knowing that.
  22. That is true. I guess the only way would be to have a plugin that number the exports in ascending box order, but also exports blank spaces, so that you can import them in as-is afterwards, but that ain't a thing.
  23. Only if you exported the mons as a pcdata.bin if so, you can import that bin, and they’ll be the exact order that you exported em as. It is not as tho the program would know what order a bunch of Pokémon were exported as, unless you export them exactly like as the bin, which retains the order info.
