  1. Read what I previously sent and uploaded. Do know the block keys are no longer values on the latest PKHeX, but should be easy to tell which is which. (The block keys are now named after the clothing category) use at your own risk!
  2. Piracy, so no. Dump the patch from your Switch. Our site doesn't support piracy.
  3. Depends on the encounter. Read up on the encounter. Usually either 0 or 3. Select the roaming8b option before searching
  4. Guaranteed IVs enforced by the encounter isn't the same as desired IVs you end up rolling for. Imagine you had to roll 6 die, but there's a rule that converts 3 die to the number six. You could still technically roll sixes on all of them. It's just that you're forced have 3 sixes if let's say, your roll gave you all ones. If that scenario happened, you'll end up with 3 ones and 3 sixes. That's just what it means. So you can have a 5IV Moltres, but you can't change the rule from guaranteed 3 to guaranteed 5. Once again, took me less than a minute to get a legal one.
  5. I'm assuming what I underlined. Galar legendary birds encounter come with 3 guaranteed IVs. Or perhaps you made it 5 (which you're not supposed to) I made this legal Moltres within 1 minute XD If there are specific IVs you want to be 31, have them be in the left side. Remember, what is desired by you (left side) isn't necessary the game enforced details for the encounter.
  6. Don’t flag stuff as Alpha. There are legality checks in play. Maybe import an existing fixed file, check encounter database, or catch your own.
  7. I mean I suspect the same thing for me (I modified a save to have Shiny charm just for the fun of it) but maybe it's just bad RNG. It'll be more alarming if a lot of people experience the same thing, but even then the odds could be misunderstood. For example, we recently discovered everyone has been going about shiny hunting in LGPE wrong: https://twitter.com/Sibuna_Switch/status/1492970750264979456
  8. Are you comparing yourself to people that play 10s of hours per day, and play it like a job or for the sake of content?
  9. Yeah so to avoid issues like that do very little hacking or making stuff from scratch. And when possible, do the stuff in-game and/or let the game generate it for you.
  10. Yeah, fake carts have issues dumping their saves, because their saves are actually nested in their ROMs (it is not in the save partition that tools try to dump from) You gotta dump the ROM and try to extract it, can try using this to scan the ROM file for the save. Do note that you won't be able to inject any save back into the bootleg cart. Note: Kind reminder to not upload the ROM here. Uploading of ROMs, among other things that relate to piracy, is against our rules. Cheers :3
  11. https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework Also I don't think you should be SDK
  12. PKHeX runs on Windows 10. I’m on Windows 10. Make sure you’ve downloaded all the requisite .NET framework to run.
  13. If the edits are done, and you confirm you’re playing on the edited ROM, then I’m out of ideas. Check through to make sure the trainer battle animation only appears once in the data
  14. I wonder if there’s an unused not properly programmed clothing item in shoes. Because if you hex edit the block, you’ll notice it is simple all changed to 01s.
  15. Check PKHeX’s event flags, it might be one of the options to re-enable roamer/TV script.
  16. Can you reopen with tinke (after closing the program) to see if your changes stuck? After that, if it did indeed stick, try to make sure you reimport the changes into the ROM, and actually play the modded copy. if need be, redump the edited area (from the edited ROM) then reopen in tinke to check if the edits are there. right now, it just sounds like one of the insertion processes are missing.
  17. There are multiple reports about it, hence why said ruling is in place here.
  18. Probably. But that’ll require you to dump the save everytime, which sounds like a pain. Better to get it done via RAM reading I think..
  19. Make sure they are in the /switch folder of your SD card, if I’m not mistaken.
  20. It is possible that you merely hacked the Z crystal onto the mon, but used the wrong version. They are actually two item IDs for the Z crystal: one meant to be in the bag, one meant to be held. I presume you made the mon hold one in the bag, hence Z-move option didn't appear in battle.
  21. It's a Bool, literally just bool1 or bool2. I assume bool2 is yes (and bool1 is no)
  22. Load up your save, then Use PKHeX’s Encounter database And look up a Dusknoir, then view an appropriate one, then close the database, then set to your PC, then export edited save from PKHeX, then import edited save into your game.
  23. Depends on who you ask. PKHeX doesn’t touch areas you yourself don’t touch (besides checksums) do I’ll say it’s fine. (I’m gonna assume when you say edit eggs, you’re deleting them here) but some people are more strict, and would say that as long as you’re playing on a device that can have the save extracted, it’s already not legit. anyway your thread isn’t about creative works, so I’ve moved your thread to a more appropriate spot
  24. How about don’t add impossible species, or stuff with illegal moves. In general, no illegals. In this case, it doesn’t matter whether in console or on emulator. A save is a save, and PKHeX reads it as such, and writes as such. The limitations to what you can add applies to both. This already sounds like a “you” problem. My suggestion is to not make stuff from scratch, and use the programmed encounter database. Anyhow, it’s only an issue when unedited mons or absolutely perfect legal mons for that game turn into Eggs..
