    @Kaphotics is there an issue with the handling of this event? For JPN/KOR/CHS/CHT it's distributed as English, but for the other languages it follows the game save that receives it.

    As a note to anyone who wants to contribute wrb8 files, do know that there are trash data that seems to occur inconsistently in those files, and their purpose, nor where they come from, are not understood at this time. So if you do wanna share them, do so at your own risk. Alternatively OP can wait for a WB8 -> WRB8 update to be finalized in the plugin. Also, as a final word: wrb8 doesn't affect ones gameplay in any way. They are purely cosmetic. Just thought I should point this out. Cheers all.

    I think all that is left is for you to update the residence. In Gen 6, the Residence info is updated on trades. Other than that what you described seems right :3

    Only if she has CFW on her Switch If she doesn’t, I’ll recommended borrowing/renting a SWSH cart. You literally just need to start the game and save twice. And just in case you have doubts, I did it for 3 of my friends back to back. Took around maybe 10 minutes.

    Incorrect reasoning. As background, Gen 5 only had differently language’d carts, no region. people do use the language to double as a pseudo-region lock, but not always the case. Wifi: language’d wonder cards were only distributed to games carts of the same language. local: for most cases, language’d wonder cards were only distributed to games carts of the same language. it doesn’t matter if you’re physically there. The exceptions would be WORLDS events (like WORLD CROBAT). If you own a JP 3DS, you can be physically outside of Japan and still receive JP events under that criteria. Those specific look for what 3DS model you’re holding, as opposed to actual physical location. Also, there are exceptions: HKTW events using Nintendo zone & serial code can be received by EU 3DS (language only English), as HKTW imports both JP and EU 3DS. So there are a limited amount of JP events that may be receivable on EU 3DS. This isn’t one of them. Someone can trade you a JP Diancie, there’s no issues there. Just make sure the region is JP, and Geolocation is updated under trainer tab. if you want to redeem the event yourself, yes it has to be EU or Region Free (for Gen 6/7).     because region info itself isn't stored on the wonder card, so PKHeX can't check for it. The event can have the wrong region (EU 3DS for example) but it would be incorrectly legal. only if the 3DS region is JP, not EU. And Not Handling OT is your name. I think the geolocation list needs to be updated.

    In Gen 6, you could start the game with any language. In most scenarios language isn’t a problem. Language is not an issue in this scenario. Since you did the entire “a person going from Spain” spiel, perhaps you’re confusing language with 3DS region. If you look at the summary image in the description, this is only for JP 3DS. (JP as in the region, not the language) If I’m not mistaken, people in Spain most commonly have access to EU units. Thus, those units won’t be able to receive this event.

    No worries. Well, create a mgdb folder in the root of your PKHeX, then place the card in it. It should work until they’ve included it in the stable build

    It’s already available in the dev build. The current version of PKHeX was released before the Moltres event, so it’s natural it won’t be recognised. Consider adding the wonder card to mgdb, or use the dev build, until a new stable build is released. Also this area is for event gallery errors, not for PKHeX issues.

    Keep this as a backup. restart the game, purely play on cart, then catch some Pokémon, then report back.

    I would think it’s the scripts. I’ve used VBA only Crystal (Japanese and English) multiple times and no GS ball. also hey, aren’t you the one with the invalid encounters for JP Crystal? I’m starting to wonder if you used a hacked ROM when playing on VBA. Also, did you play on the 3DS-VC variant? It gives you GS ball after you defeat the E4

    Ah sorry, I meant to say all your other Pokémon. They should not have event as their met location. Out of curiosity, what is their OT (show an image of the OT tab please)

    If I'm not mistaken, the met location cannot be event for an in-game Togepi. Did you inject the egg? Are you playing a ROM hack. This does not seem natural.

    You're not suppose to use the ROM on PKHeX. You're only supposed to use the save. Also make sure you save in-game, not 'saving' via save states.

    Well anyhow: I know you said Gen 4, but as long as your mons aren't hatched, using Method 1 from what this gives you should work. For example, I'll use AAAAAAAA: Using those IVs: Darkrai was legal with PID and IVs! For Pokemon caught on routes, you may have to do an extra step, to ensure Poke Finder can generate that PID for that met level and encounter slot (basically, for routes, not every PID can occur for every encounter)

    Yeah in the future if you got issues with your save, maybe upload the block that seems to be the issue, rather than the save. Last thing you want is someone using your save and getting you banned (if that is at all possible)
