  1. Can you properly explain what the problem is? As I said, I'm confused to what the problem is. You added a Fennekin, and got a Fennekin, so I don't know what the issue is. Is it this: If I interpret right, when you loaded your game (the edited copy from PKHeX), your progress supposedly reverted to a previous save, yet your edited Fennekin is there, right? If I were to guess, I would assume that you DID NOT backup the save after you completed the trial. You only made a backup for a save which is before you completed the trial. It would explain why Fennekin is there.. In any case, to be sure in the future, save in-game twice, then perform the backup, then perform the edits, then perform the restore.
  2. I'm confused. So the issue is.. The Fennekin is there, even tho you added it there? I have a hard time seeing what the problem is.
  3. I do admit it is misleading, but "Full Natdex/all Pokémon" isn't currently possible in SWSH. In any case, I changed the title.
  4. No. Wait patiently. Or use a nightly build for at AzureDevOps for PKHeX (use at your own risk. keep a safe backup before any edits)
  5. if that's the case, it's Citra's problem. You gotta report to Citra (probably their raise an issue on their github). Without a proper save made via saving in-game, you won't be able to use PKHeX.

  7. Mouse click inside the spoiler, then hit + to add the file in. I'll take a look at them. Also don't upload the ROM here. edit: Try using this. Crystal ENG Cart (2).sav
  8. I meant the lack of spoilers. (in you refresh, you'll see I placed all the large images in a spoiler. Must think about our brethren that browses via cellphone XD) Eh, just send over the save from cart (name it cart), and send over the save from VC (Name it VC). I'll see what I can do.
  9. Then read this. It has the steps.
  10. Once again, I edited the formatting of your post, cause it was simply chaos. No need to copy over the last line, just delete that line should be enough. As long as your VC save is now the same size as your cartridge save (from trimming the end), that should work.
  11. Patiently read through our tutorials. https://projectpokemon.org/tutorials/save-editing/managing-3ds-saves/
  12. Keep in mind that this guide is for the 'main' Pokémon save type, regardless if it's played on emulator or imported using save manager. This applies to both 3DS and Switch. In the images below, Citra was used simply as a convenient way to show screenshots, do not be misled by it! Scenario 1: (can be retail or emulator, I'm just using Citra as an example) You load the game and it tells you it's corrupted, however PKHeX is able to load the save. Example What you should do: 1. Check the folder you import the save from. Your file in the folder MUST be named main (Look at the screenshot of the file folder above. Notice how my file is called main1? That's the mistake: it was incorrectly named.) 2. The files in the folder has to be exact. For 3DS: main MUST be the only file in that folder. For Switch: main MUST be in that folder. backup and poke_trade can be there, but isn't necessary. There cannot be other files in the same folder you import from, such as main.bak etc. 3. (Citra only) Also do not rename the folders that contain the main. The wonky numbers generated by Citra are the correct folder names. Changing them will screw it up. Scenario 2: Game says save is corrupted, and PKHeX is unable to load the save. Chances are, your dumped save file is indeed corrupted. Maybe there was an error with dumping the save -> redump the save, provided that you’re able to continue the game and it launches on your console. Perhaps there was an error when transferring save to PC via FTP -> if you were using FileZilla, change the setting to use binary transfer mode instead of ascii. If the steps above were not able to resolve the problem, load up an older copy of your save. Also make sure you're using latest version of PKHeX. Oh, ALWAYS keep a safe backup of your save in a completely differently folder, especially before any edits or transfers etc, so that if any corruptions occur, you always have a backup to revert to. Note: IF you played on Citra, and used the Emulation > Save state (example below) You need to properly save the game, using the in-game menu. Open this spoiler for steps. Note - If the FTP transfer process indeed screwed up your save: For 3DS - Try using this. For Switch - There's no solution. The save is dead. The Switch encrypts the save, so missing a byte is fatal. Instances of people mucking up Notable case studies: Filezilla needing Binary Transfer Mode instead Game displays save as corrupted, cause it wasn't named correctly PKHeX won't read the save, as it is empty Changing names of Citra Folders messed up the save recognition User using emulation > save state

  14. could be different versions of VBA. No biggie really. Both loads on PKHeX either way. Well the issue for all gen 2 games (not just crystal) is they all store the RTC differently at the very end Example of my VBA: (I snipped out the RTC on the save, so it loads on my VBA) Example of your save: Dump an existing cartridge save for Crystal, then check in a hex editor what the bytes after 0x7FF0 look like (if any). Then for the save you're gonna transfer, make the hex look like the end of the ones you've dumped. (use the red line as reference) anyhow: Just reread this portion. It's not this. It's due to how different systems try to store RTC, as mentioned above.
  15. So I'm guessing that means that Mareep only had imperfect in Atk, and Ledyba had imperfect IVs for every slot. @dji is this correct?
  16. I don't understand what you're asking. Can you perhaps phrase your question better?
  17. You need PKHeX and this plugin. If you're on Windows, right click on the DLL and unblock the plugin. (if the file is not blocked, just proceed on) Place the dll in the plugins folder right at where the main PKHeX is stored. If the folder doesn't already exist, just create it, then place the dll inside. Load up your save in PKHeX, go to Tools > Feebas Locator And it will tell you where your spots are (this image shows mine)
  18. @BlackShark is it too much to ask for some kind of "Done!" message after card has been injected? I've injected ME3 into the save, and without the "Done!" message I'm unsure if my file was injected or it couldn't be injected due to some kind of error. (I'm testing 2 files, and I was trying to extract them from debug roms. They both have different sizes, and none of them thew me a done or error, so I'm genuinely not sure whether I did it right or wrong ><)
  19. @JamesonTBynum I got this save from VBA. Crystal ENG.sav Try running this through the converter, then load on VC.
  20. yeah try that, and see the the save file works.
  21. Yeah probably is a server block and nothing to do with PKHeX. Just trade Shiny Finis (including Japanese), nothing can trade.
  22. that's why. Can you open the in-game menu, then save in-game? edit: For future readers, check this tutorial, scroll down to the bottom of scenario 2.
  23. I can tell you play on Citra. Quick question: how do you save in-game?
