  1. You should be able to transfer files from system settings. Just toil around there. I don't remember the exact settings, but I managed to change my album auto write settings to Internal memory, and shifted my game stuff into Internal Memory (my SD slot is dying), so the reverse should be true.
  2. Does it throw you a save corrupted message, then take you to the language selection screen? Or does it take you there immediately. If it's the first, you probably didn't import the save right. (maybe named the save, a .bak is there etc.) If it is the second, then maybe you imported a block from an empty save or something didn't you. Honestly there's many saves on the forums that has been started. Worse come to worse, you can spend time to slowly deactivate one raid by one..
  3. I believe if that is the case, you could just make a copy of the same version of normal_encount and name it normal_encount_rigel.
  4. Update for the most part, I finally got my head around how the bonus/drop rewards are stored. drop_rewards bonus rewards edit: If you saw what I wrote about "unsure about table_IDs", they were found in the file. They're 3 bytes after the "0x10".
  5. You may have too many activated raids. Import a raid block that has them unactive, then try again.
  6. I don't have them yet. Been meaning to do them, so I'll load them on-site when I do them.
  7. When a mon learns a TR move, the TR relearn checklist is also checked off, which I doubt you did. Press the Technical Records button in your screenshot, and check off the TRs that you want it to learn.. Obviously you need to do that, in order for it to learn those moves..
  8. yeah that. In any case, OP first hack your 3DS. everything else comes later.
  9. Your 3DS needs a way to accept hacked Pokemon. Most used solution presently is to hack your 3DS (at your own risk). https://3ds.hacks.guide/ Once you hack your 3DS, you have access to the save, which you can inject hacked Pokemon.
  10. The bug with PKHeX and HOME gifts that were previously legal are known, thanks.
  11. Are you sure? ROM Hacked raids have been eliminated. I've heard RAM hacked raids will display the stamp, but cannot be joined.
  12. Hey! It hasn't been posted anywhere because simply, I have no idea which is used. Presently, my assumption is that, both are used, and they serve a particular purpose, presumably: a) if you are hosting a raid on Galar Mainland, it's normal_encount b) if you are hosting a raid on Isle of Armor, it's normal_encount_rigel (rigel being the codename for IoA). While the file themselves have subtle differences, using Index 21 as an example, the values between both (relating to which mon is hosted, or the rewards it yields) are actually the same, even raid rewards. It's possible they have the raids separated between vanilla and DLC, as they intend to have an event in the future which will split. (maybe only DLC gains access to super special raids, where vanilla will have previously ongoing event raids, all speculation of course) Regardless, you need all 5 files in 1.2.0 onwards.
  13. Details for Index 31 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 (minor differences, in raid chance) Rewards for Index 31 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 (minor differences, in raid chance) Details for Index 31 of dai_encount Rewards for Index 31 of dai_encount
  14. Details for Index 28 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 (minor differences, in raid chance) Rewards for Index 28 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 (minor differences, in raid chance) Details for Index 28 of dai_encount Rewards for Index 28 of dai_encount
  15. probably because it's info that people would not normally see.
  16. Literally files I uploaded. Removed.
  17. Yup, the PCNY events can only be received on carts, and as we know, there's no official way to transfer the save from cart to VC. It is possible to transfer the save to VC, but it isn't via official means.
  18. @Alzeo999 your thread has been moved. You didn't mention what game these are for, nor what you want to do, and literally copied and pasted some GARC addresses (that you probably found online). I don't have time to match and check where these address are from, and I can only assume this is for Gen 6 (cause it has the name maison). GARCs are files within a ROM. They can be manipulated and replaced with extraction and injection and editing. If you don't know what these are nor what these are for, I doubt you have the initiative nor technical level to edit them. I advise you not to mess with them. [and for the records, sharing ROMs or files within ROMs are against our rules, so don't ask for it] And also, for the good love of everyone, do not create multiple threads asking for help for the same thing.
  19. thread moved.
  20. I was thinking maybe some kind of hard knock (either dislodge part of the connection or broke the internals of the chip), or maybe the chip was substandard to begin with, thus leading to it's failure. Yeah, I know nothing about flashing the chip elsewhere..
  21. I hope you're referring to the original questioner, cause I definitely am not familiar with SWSH's RAM, nor am I going to dedicate time to it ><
  22. Not that I can refer you to a specific video, but I've seen videos of repairmen dealing with circuit boards, and what they tend to do, is to place the prongs of the multimeter around the chip, to see if any voltage passes (to know if the chip is still functional), or to place them at the beginning of the chip and beginning of the where the current should originates from, to see if the voltage travels right up to the chip (no breakages in between circuits etc). However, without a specific blueprint for the voltages that should be across the board, we can't just do that haphazardly. Or course, you could do a simple compare and contrast with a working board, however I'm not certain you want to put the working board at risk (from you know, not knowing what you're doing ) From what I understood, it's not the save that you value, but the cart itself. Provided it's only the chip that's dead, and not the circuits on the board (or some other factor), someone with the appropriate tools can try to transplant a working chip onto it, but it's hard to save it'll work, and the cost and time taken will probably be high. Even if it's not you, ultimately it would have to be determined if the chip is dead or the circuit board is functional, before any decisions of what can or cannot be done be proceeded with.
  23. And here I thought it could all be explained by the presumption that you had a fake cart. The explanation honestly fits, if it were a fake cart. Not that I believe that GameStop sells fake carts, but I don't know what's their policy, especially if it's related to second hands goods. Or maybe they had some kind of mix up. Who knows at this point. I used to own a fake cart that battery ran dry (not that I knew it was fake until after the fact), and this was exactly what happened. Once the battery ran dry, I could no longer save the game. I don't know how it would be possible. I also wonder what you should do. Replace the entire chip? Check the traces on the circuit board? Run a multimeter before and after the chip to check if it's dead? It's possible the memory chip itself is dead, or unable to draw power from your battery. But here's the thing: as far as I know, on a real cart, the battery isn't for running the memory. It only runs the RTC. Maybe someone who knows what they're doing can come along and advise you, but my impression would be you should just buy a new cart.
  24. no idea how to manipulate the drops of event raids (save editing). If ROM editing, the edited raids cannot even be shared locally, so no dice.
