  1. It keeps the Star. I've also seen people say that trading it in HOME or SWSH won't change the OT, since the star is now a character on the keyboard. I've never tested that for myself.
  2. @Chibisuke Gyarados can't naturally have Mold Breaker in-game (unless you mega it)? The ability will change when it's in Mega, so why are you trying to hack it on *before* it's mega? Are you trying to hack on illegal abilities?
  3. erm, what happens if you take 1. take not of the copy produced on your computer 2. then delete the one on your phone 3. then paste the aforementioned copy into where it should be on your phone?
  4. @paduck I'm assuming the .pkm represents a Pokemon file from Gen 5. (in older days, which in part was when these programs were made, .pkm was the name of the file format, for files that are now known as .pk4 and also pk5; I'm simply elaborating on what ".pkm" represented.) 1. Load a Gen 5 save into PKHeX 2. Drag the .pk3 into the active PKHeX window in point 1 3. Now export/drag out the Pokémon. You should get a .pk5 4. Rename the .pk5 to .pkm That is all you gotta do.
  5. Gen 6 wonder cards have their Gender fixed, even if the event is random gendered. (The gender goes from random -> fixed the moment the wonder card is saved on your 3DS) According to bulbapedia it can be random. Not exactly proof, but it's nice to know their second opinion aligns with that. Also we have the both genders on our github, so we probably don't have to worry about missing it. The wonder card on this page is female only, but the event can be random.
  6. Trade the mon to someone else that has CFW. Or trade with to a sysbot that is on a Discord server. it'll dump your pk8 that you can view with PKHeX.
  7. Provided you have the right tools, the tutorial will walk you through it, as steps are listed on it. Choose the appropriate tutorial, depending on what you have access to https://projectpokemon.org/home/tutorials/save-editing/managing-nds-saves/
  8. no need to bump threads. People who know will and are interested will answer. bump removed. 1) unsure. Test it out for yourself. The only thing I remember for sure if the value for feelings and memories for Non OT stay the same despite being transferred up from Bank to HOME to SWSH. (Tho the text itself might change, it's a little issue caused by SWSH devs) 2) Depends on origin I suppose. Gen 6 has them. Gen 7 doesn't have them. 3) Depends on game of origin. Gen 6 and above needs to have relearn moves, if hatched in prior games, makes sense there won't be relearn moves. PKHeX should flag you on this if you create a mon incorrectly.

EXPERIMENTAL! Load a Fashion Block bin into the app. Select Male or Female. Then scroll through the options. Use at your own risk. I strongly recommend you keep a backup of your unedited fashion bin. If there's bugs, report em here: https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/58291-fashion-block-tool-bug-report-thread/ Please don't PM me to ask for help etc etc.
  14. roamers have a glitch in Gen 3, where their IVs won't be proper. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_glitches_in_Generation_III#Roaming_Pok.C3.A9mon_IV_bug So when you modify the IVs, you gotta account for that too.
  15. The localization team just translated what they were given. Maybe TPCi could not find a way to properly implement the events or maybe they were worried about controversy, and just never released them. It's not like there were proper internet distributions back in Gen 3. Not easy to reach everyone. Or maybe there wasn't a real life event they could use to distribute it. Or maybe they didn't trust local distributors to not steal the wireless distributor units. No one knows at this point. [All I can do is pray Emerald would get released VC on Switch, and the Mew event is unlocked, much like what they did to Celebi on VC Crystal]
  16. (G) stands for from Pokémon GO. To be specific: Origin Game = GO, Location = Pokémon GO. As a result, only direct GO->HOME transfers have them, not GO->LGPE->HOME (GO->LGPE->HOME location ends up being Go Park Complex. As I briefly touched on above, location data also matters.) I'm addressing why GO mons have the G-mark. (Why it's important to have a visual distinction for GO mons) I don't think this was officially touched on, but I believe it's in part due to the HOME->SWSH travel restriction placed on GO mons. At a glance, you need to know what mon may not be able to enter SWSH, and why. While they do place a on the mon, to show it can't travel into SWSH, If a Mew has it, one may be confused: isn't Mew in SWSH, why can't it go into SWSH? GO travel restriction: for legendaries and mythicals, if you haven't had it in SWSH, you can't transfer that species into HOME (originating from GO). [Present day workaround, as long as the legendary/mythical doesn't bear your HOME's TID/SID combo, it can enter SWSH just fine. don't know if it's a bug that TPCi/GF will patch] (in my tweet, I did call it row, when I meant column)
  17. Presumably you can't, or the data isn't out there, or the data isn't recorded down. I say shorten the names.
  18. It appears that non-repeatable Mythicals in Pokémon GO, when granted shiny status, and when officially stated, would thus be guaranteed shiny. They've pretty much come out and said it'll be shiny. Meltan isn't a good comparison, because it's a repeatable Mythical.
  19. you could just continue the game with that working save. We can't do anything about the empty files you attached
  20. If the second save opens in PKHeX on your end, then there's no need for me to check it is there?
  21. This just looks like you never saved in-game even once, and/or you retrieved the files from the wrong folder. They're completely empty.
  22. Given that the main was obtained from your recovery, I doubt your recovery as of now. in your folder, is there a file called "backup". Could you upload that here.
  23. @malmizal55 this is your main. it's completely blank. it's not a save.
  24. not in any usable form yet, no.
