1. I have yet to get a shiny besides that red Gyarados in Gold.
 2. I'm glad someone said this, its not video games fault the way you were implying in the title, but a separate issue that really doesn't have much to do with what you were talking about Floot.
 3.

Thanks guys.

 4. Your scizor doesn't have bullet punch, its only real way of dealing with common threats. :F Try this double priority set than. Scizor @ Life orb 200 hp/252 attack/56 speed Adamant nature with Technician Bullet punch Quick attack Swords dance U-turn +1 Quick attack lets you 2HKO offensive gyarados with SR up. ( SD on the switch = +2, gyarados's intimidate = -1, +2 -1 = +1 attack ) However a scizor without superpower means that Steel types wall you to death ( OU anyone? ) so take caution with that. My favorite scizor set happens to be Scizor @ Life orb Adamant with Technician 200 hp/252 attack/ 56 speed Bullet Punch Superpower U-turn Swords dance +2 super power 2HKO's skarmory even after the attack drop. ( SD up on a switch to skarmory, Superpower + Superpower kills it ) Without SR you have a pretty large Gyarados and Salamence weakness,Spikes, stealth rock, weakness to not only SkarmBliss but also Celetran et cetera. but I'm sure someone here can tell you about that much better than I can as I'm sorry but I don't have the time to give you a full rate. Just please take note that Venasuar/Arcanina/Weavile and gallade are all outclassed by other pokemon in OU. You also don't have a single ground immunity or spikes immunity. This will hamper your teams effectiveness in OU as SR +Spikes is common. It will quickly wear your team down and with only immunities to psychic and electric on your team, even resisted hits will take their toll.
 5. It would be like the pokemon comic?
 6.

No problem thats fine. Thanks for the SID today, I'll try and be on 2 hours before now tomorrow so your not on too late. Anyway have a good night.

 7.

Even your visitor wall is swamped with requests, :F

 8. It kicked me out of the Wifi room, can we give it one last go? Thank you for the SID by the way. Edit * Thanks.
 9. Not a problem, I've no rush so take your time with whatever your doing. You get way too many requests here.
 10. Hey Ray I was wondering if I could trade you two pokemon of mine, and you could give me their secret ID's? One is mine, one is my little brothers. Also just to avoid confusion heres a mini form: Gyarados [ CHEOL ] @ [ 41317 ] [ Secret ID GOES HERE ] Shellos [ Jun ] @ [ 18204 ] [ Secret ID GOES HERE ] my FC is 2235 - 3473 - 0778 . Thanks in advance if you can do this.
 11. Well I demand you read it, true to its nature its like a weekly story published in a newspaper. Anyway I don't really watch too much anime but I happen to like FLCL, Gurren lagann ( why are there two N's? Usually the romaji using two of a letter denotes a gutteral stop using a small "tsu" but its not pronounced that way ), Eureka 7 and Cowboy bebop . I used to be a huge gundam fan, as per my Giant robot roots ya know, and have watched all of the series. Although in all honesty Wing,Seed, Destiny and G were TERRIBLE. But ah that was a wasted youth. They don't even hold a candle to 8th Ms team, War in the pocket, 0083 stardust memory or the struggles of Armuro ray and his rivalry against char. Wing did have some cool mech designs but other than that it was fairly lackluster. I prefer books and sometimes comics though, Right now I'm reading the myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus as I just finished the Plague ( a rereading though ) and want to check out this book which is often paired up with the plague.
 12. Adding onto what random spot said, Alakazam does not make a good lead and you should consider changing it. As you've actually posted a reasoning behind your team I'm just going to point out some flaws that I'm fairly confident that you can fix yourself and make a few suggestions and I'll leave the major changes up to you. 1: You lack any time of priority move, this means Choice scarf users like salamence/flygon/jirachi will have a field day with your team, and revenge killing a DD dos/mence is impossible. Lacking a restistance to Steel is a huge disadvantage for any Offensive or balanced team and number 1 is the most dire concern for the success of your team. Because of your teams offensive nature ( Infernape, alakazam, Jolteon and weavile ) it surprises me that you do not have a designated revenge killer and designated priority user. Common ones to consider are Scizor/Lucario/Metagross/Azumarill/weavile/Gallade/Dusknoir/Emploeon/Infernapeand Breloom. The one you pick depends on the role you need it to fill on your team of course. 2: Shared ground weakness and only one immunity, After gliscor is gone a Choice scarf/+1 speed earthquake pokemon will run through your entire team. :F This is a huge problem as pokemon that commonly EV to outspeed your fastest pokemon after a DD are Gyarados and Salamence, both also commonly carry earthquake and to even further add to that weakness you don't have stealth rock on the field. 3: You lack any way to counter any of the popular special attackers or dragon type pokemon that commonly runt through teams. what really worries me is how Gyarados weak your team is, he can come in one three of your 6 members, setup with 1 dragon dance and then proceed to sweep your entire team from their with only Earthquake + waterfall. This is partially remedied by using a steel type to take those powerful Outrages and draco meteors that the metagame is filled with. Metagross gets special mention as he gets priority, has high physical defense and is a steel type. 4: I can't tell what your central strategy is, Jolteon sweep? Late game infernape clean up? Each of these pokemon are both capable of taking out a weakened team on its own, however together its like playing a match only starting with 4 pokemon, 3 if your lead dies early. Which seeing as how scizor can switch in on any of the attacks you have listed and OHKO him with Bullet punch as you retaliate I foresee happening more often than not. So my suggestion here is get what your team is trying to do straight and then come back with some changes, even if your goal is simply to counter a large portion of the metagame I feel that you need to rework your members.
 13. I would argue that. Hidden power, while useful on Jolteon, isn't even necessary for the most part. Thunderbolt/Shadow ball/Signal beam may not have " BOLT BEAM COVERAGE" but it hits enough and makes use of what resistances jolteon has to its advantage. Being the fastest useful ( because as we all know, ninjask is not useful in real battles ) Sub/Baton passer in the game can catch even good players off guard. Subing up and baton passing to something that is immune to whatever attack your opponent picked can sometimes be good game right there. Blinding fast speed ( 130 base ) means jolteon can revenge kill a majority of pokemon, without the use of a choice scarf and can continue to wreck havoc assuming it's gotten in safely and its 110 base special attack should not be ovrer looked either as it has just enough power to score useful 1 and 2HKO's on a variety of pokemon ( Rotom, Gengar, Dusknoir, Celebi, Gyarados, Skarmory, Metagross, Suicune, Vaporeon, Tentacruel, Alakazam, Gardevoir et cetera. ) It's ability and , although overlooked, special defense allow it to be a decent counter to zapdos as well as STAB thunderbolts on physically defensive zapdos will take it down eventually. Now while Vaporeon is good, the fact that Toxic and toxic spikes ruin its staying power makes it a much less viable choice for a lot of things as with its low defense it can't take too many hits while enduring poison, meaning Scizor who vaporeon can usually wall and kill off, will have no problem setting up and wiping vaporeon out. While vaporeon may have its uses as a "bulky offense" with its 130 base hp and 110 base special attack, its meager 60 base def and 65 base speed mean many things can take advantage of it as well. I would go so far as even saying that Vaporeon is a Niche pokemon, filling a very specific role on teams, much like Ludicolo or Weavile.
 14. I hate breloom, its not hard to counter or anything but fighting 10+ people with it makes for 10 + boring games where I do the exact same thing.
 15. Haha, well if you've got a psp or a Wii I would pick up either the latest installment ( Psp ) or the one coming to the US soon ( Wii )! The series is wonderful, and its by far my favorite series to date. Incredibly fun to play, but not addicting the way things like Ro/WoW are. When playing with other people, your sitting right across from them and when your with friends playing games is never the only thing you do ( for most people who play MH thats the case anyway ). So its just like hanging out with friends, but with hardcore fast paced gaming thrown into the mix too. But it stays " thrown in" and doesn't make us slaves to the game like other things do, so to us it has a huge advantage over other games.
 16. My 5 favorite pokemon are..... 1: Ever since his Gold/Silver release he's been my absolute favorite pokemon. Scizor @ Life Orb Bullet punch Superpower U-turn Swords Dance 2: Scizor has the color, now this guys got the drills! Rhyperior @ Leftovers Megahorn Earthquake Swords Dance Substitute 3: A scorpion, bat, crab, antlion thing? Cool. Gliscor @ Leftovers Earthquake Stone Edge Swords Dance Roost 4: What did everyone like as a kid? Godzilla! Oh the nostalgia... Tyranitar @ Expert Belt Crunch Thunderbolt Ice Beam Dragon dance 5: One of the first pokemon I thought looked cool back when I was 13. Cubone @ Thick Club Earthquake Double Edge Fire punch Stone Edge Hows that for formatting?
 17. I see you guys have finally moved onto using smudge effects and incorporating high quality focal points into your work! However I think that you guys should try to incorporate using layers when doing stuff like that, don't smudge the original render, but create 3 or 4 copies. After you've done this smudge the COPIED layers and simply change the opacity and layer filter settings to get a desired effects, starting with the top layer and working your way down back to the original render, which should remain at 100% opacity whereas the other layers should be at 60% and under. This lets you add amazing depth to your work, but you don't lose the original stock image ( However you must remember that this is of course assuming you change the opacity on all of the layers, which is a must otherwise you will only see the top layer anyway. ) Also, its good to note that smudge effects used on a render to add whatever it is you want the piece to express should be separate from what the background to your signature is. If you want to use a smudge background, use layers underneath the render you want to be the focal point of the sig. Even if the render is going to be smudged into the background and then reused as the focal point, do not try and do both with the same layer, you lose depth and clarity on your render which takes away from the piece unless incorporated properly. Here are some examples ( NOT MINE, taken from Planet Renders forums. ) Examples : Don't be afraid to experiment with the techniques you guys are using, incorporate what you used when you started and what you use now. Simply learning new styles and shedding your past failures is no way to get better. Even the basic, "noob-ish" stuff you used to when you started is important with stuff like this. Think, you did those things for a reason, now that you know better you can go back and alter those same strategies and add to them, using what you know now to get an even better effect. I guarantee you will get some great pieces of art this way. Anyway good luck and I hope the best for everybody trying to improve. Edit* Ah also, I'm already assuming you guys are doing this but, Remember that when you want to make the image really pop you should create a new layer, go to "apply image," which will condense everything you've been working on into that new layer, without touching the layers themselves ( literally a carbon copy of everything you've been doing, but in a high quality 100% opacity form ) and use Color balance/sharpen/ add text on that as it lets you mess around with the "final product" but leaves the layers you've been working so hard on intact and unmodified in case you do not like where your taking the piece near the end.
 18. 7/10 Illithian, Its good, but you've used the smudge tool a bit too much and it took away any focal point that the original image had and just makes it look a little flat. It also seems like It could use a small 1 or 2 pixel border, but that's just my preference. The original image itself is also a little centered, but the use of two layers of text remedies that a little bit.
 19. I don't understand what you mean by obscure at all, in Ubers Shiftry has been used to a lot of success and has even been a staple on peoples teams, while adversely Ludicolo has its uses in OU and Ubers on rain teams, he also makes a great sponge due to his unique defensive typing. The duck I feel is also better as its more versatile then shiftry. STAB on grassknot with decent special attack, an ability to boost its mediocre speed ( albeit in the rain) , unique defensive typing and a decent movepool back up what is also a neat looking pokemon, and I feel that it pushes it ahead of shiftry in a lot of ways. Ice beam Surf Grassknot/Energy ball Hydro pump Leech seed Protect Toxic Substitute Swords dance Focus punch Waterfall Seed bomb Fake out along with Swift swim or Rain dish gives him enough options to be a potent threat for more than one role. I agree.
 20. I started on MH for the Ps2, but skipped MHF entirely and started back up again on MHFU. Its really a great series and despite its huge online fan base, theres only ( conveniently I guess ) 3 other people from my school who also play it. Right now I just finished Farming Crimson fatalis and made his blademaster set. It's gemmed for Fury (Adrenaline +2 and Survival in one skill ), Artisan, Sharpsword and Evade +1 ( Unfortunately also with def - 20 and -15 REC speed, but since after a while you just don't get hit its negligible. ) Anyway sorry for the late reply, I don't come on much anymore.
 21. This could be a fun strategy, you could abuse the rain to remove sandstorm or hail, reduce the power of fire attacks and use pokemon like Toxicroak/Ludicolo/Parasect along with your team to further abuse their unique abilities and typing. With pokemon like that you would also not need to solely rely on moves that are only effective in the rain, but use the rain to gain the upper hand, or take it away from your opponent as well. Rain dance + poison type + Sleeper is a valid strategy, and something like Venusaur is a necessity here as it can absorb that annoying toxic spikes, which may hamper your teams SleepSeed strategy, and also serve as a great special wall to things like zapdos which plague the majority of teams. Good luck with your team.
 22.

Not really back, I just have not left yet. I get a little bit of free time to use the computer every so often so I check Facebook, my email, Project pokemon and another forum I frequent but its not enough to finish all of the sigs since I want to have them done as best as they can be.

 23. Not at all, Its not really custom skinning in the sense that it overlaps with your default settings, it just replaces it entirely. ( and you can switch between other custom skins and the default ones whenever you want. ) Rocket dock + Rainmeter takes up about as much space as Xfire, which is less than MSN or AIM with no chat windows open. So running the programs all at the same time has little to no effect on your computer. On that note, I'm also running that stuff on my Laptop which has lower specs than yours ( 2gb of ram series ) and everything happens to run just as fast as it does with the default settings and skins applied.
 24. Here's my current desktop, I happen to like this one the most.
 25. Here's the link to a more High quality version of that banner by the way; http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/8372/bannercopy2h.jpg Anyway I've only got one last sig to do! So close! I don't know when I'll have time to get it done though.
