  1. Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your events moderator and forum manager here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their contributions and co-operation thus far! How To Contribute: Wondercard file (WC7/WC7FULL) Extractions can be done via PKHeX or using NTR method (recommended, especially for local events) Requirements for such contribution: 1. DO NOT SUBMIT EDITED/HACKED/FAKE WONDERCARDS 2. Photos of redemption, with proof of user identity (some card with your username) 3. Context: ie. Self obtained? Location? Was it crowded? Collection Process etc. Upcoming and Missing Events: Please do not submit Powersaves extracted entries. edit: table removed. We'll update when we see something. Event Files: Our individual files can be found at our on-site Event Gallery! If you know how to download files from Github (not sorted by region), an overall archive can be found here on our git page. I regularly move old posts to another thread, to prevent cluttering of this thread.

  2. Download Location Here PKMs and SAVs can be injected to 3DS games if you have any of the following: Homebrew Menu & any Save Manager App Hacked Console with Custom Firmware JP Cart+JP System using Cyber Save Editor & Dongle NO POWERSAVES. Datel does not allow edited save resigning. NO SKY3DS EITHER. Save files must be decrypted in order to load & save. Methods how to view (not inject) your Powersaves are in the X/Y Save File Research Thread. Complete list of shortcuts and update history is available within program via Options->About. 3. PKHeX for Mac Made with Wineskin Welcome to PKHeX for Mac Discussion thread! Please post here if you need help or are experiencing issues related to this Wineskin wrapper, and use the PKHeX Support forum for issues related to the program. This is a Mac App that was made using Wineskin; it is not a port of PKHeX onto the Mac operating system. With Wineskin, we can recreate an environment where executable files will launch on Mac. As far as what is known, all features in the original program work in this wrapper. There are a few differences though. PKHeX for Mac is styled with MacOS. Also, the app's icon is different from the original PKHeX program to better fit in with the theme of the app. Download Credit to Kaphotics Source: https://projectpokemon.org/home/files/file/1-pkhex/ Issues with Wine and PKHeX? 4. Following our recent hack, we’ve finally restored our infrastructure: the forums have been migrated to IP.Board, and we’ve brought back the wiki. Special thanks to our entire administration team, @xorhash, and @ReignOfComputer for helping to set things up. Invision Power Board Invision Power Board (IP.Board, IPB) is a state-of-the-art forum software with a better security reputation than vBulletin, which we used to use. As vBulletin 4 approached EOL and clearly showed its age, we were considering how to proceed: with vBulletin 5 or something else entirely. The choice, as you can clearly see, has been made. Some of you have already asked why we didn’t choose the software du jour XenForo. This is due to a few reasons: peer, our new technical administrator, has worked with XenForo in the past and repeatedly hit its (and peer’s) limits. We had an IP.Board license readily available, whereas we’d have had to purchase XenForo separately. Looking at the track record of vBulletin for security, and seeing how XenForo is mostly the old vBulletin guys starting a new project, there were security concerns. If you have any questions about using Invision Power Board, please create a thread in the Forums Feedback forum. Staff Changes Due to concerns in real life, @Alpha has decided to no longer be the primary administrator. This means he’ll still be around, but will be less active than usual. We thank him for his hard work maintaining Project Pokémon, and his absence is a loss to Project Pokémon. Helping to fill his place will be myself and @peer, who is our new technical administrator. Furthermore, we’d like to announce the promotion to super moderator for @Kaphotics, @SciresM, and @theSLAYER. Data Loss The hackers deleted a large quantity of data, including some of our more recent backups. As a result, we have lost one year of forum attachments and a up to a few hours of forum posts. The good news is that @theSLAYER, our event moderator, has stockpiled generations of events and several programs, so the situation could have been far worse. @peer is looking into setting up automatic offsite backups to prevent this from happening again. Hashed passwords are still in the wild. We strongly encourage you to immediately change your passwords here and everywhere you’ve used the same passwords. While hashed passwords are not supposed to be reversible (i.e. your password shouldn’t be able to be derived from the hash), vBulletin’s hashing algorithm is very weak, making it that much more important you change your passwords. The Future Let’s not let the data loss get us down; it’s time to move forward. With the recent release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, there still cool things to discover, technical details to be researched, and ROM hacks to be created. (Not to mention there’s some cool stuff going on in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon side of things - more on this later.) As a reminder, the User-Submitted News forum was introduced a few weeks ago to help bring attention to things such as updates to Save and ROM editors, ROM hacks, and other cool stuff worthy of the front page. If you know of anything noteworthy, post it there so it has a chance to be seen by all! Closing Statements We would like to, once more, apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our staff, create a thread in the appropriate feedback forum, or ask in our IRC channel.

  5. Hello everyone, Today I bring you a legit Celebi tour Celebi! This Celebi belongs to @Dr.Matt and he retrieved it back in 2001 in the spanish stop of the Celebi Tour; in fact he provided most of the data for it a year ago, data I posted here: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/forums/topic/13226-pokemon-crystal-version-with-pcny-event-pokemon/?do=findComment&comment=196197 This week I was able to finally meet in person with Dr.Matt. He was able to keep his Celebi from battery dying by storing it in his Stadium 2 cartridge and because he owned a Mega Memory Card which allowed him to backup and dump savegames (but not to transfer over to computer), and with that he also was able to keep multiple copies of the Celebi, including an untouched one just as he received from the Celebi Tour Truck. Unfortunately his Mega Memory card glitched long ago and he lost most of his untouched saves, so after changing the battery to his cartridge he had to restore a save that had AR codes used on it to retrieve the celebi from Stadium 2 (he didn't have the time to play trough the game to reach the point in which Stadium 2 allowed him to retrieve the pokémon), which is why instead of dumping his savegame he traded it over to mine (which is completely clean). Data-wise this should have no effect at all, since the AR codes were used BEFORE any transfer or trade took place, and the AR codes were never used in the process of getting the Celebi out of stadium and trading, but that is the reason why it is my savegame which being uploaded and not his. Only real hardware has been used for all the Stadium 2 transfer and trade process, here are some pictures (sorry for the blurry ones, we were in kind of a hurry): The Celebi as Dr.Matt had in his Stadium 2 (this picture is from a clone he fully trained). Dr.Matt's authenticity certificate, my laptop and my GBC Cart reader/flasher: Dr.Matt's certificate, his Mega Memory and his Gameboy (sorry for blurryness) A close up of the ID number on the certificate. As you can see it's 2234 and the Celebi actually has 02233. Dr.Matt thinks distribution started at ID 00000 but they wrote 1 in the first certificate they gave and they just keept adding numbers. Some pictures of the actual trade (I brought two gameboys just in case and we used mine which had full batteries): The savefile contains both an untouched Celebi as Dr.Matt received in 2001 and the same Celebi at level 100 and EV maxed. As a bonus, I also included the legit EUROPE Mew that can be found here: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/forums/topic/40508-gen-1-europe-mew-denmark-event-mew/ The savegame also contains a full legit gen 2 living dex and unowndex in the boxes if anyone is interested. Download: Gold_europe_mew_celebi.sav Note: this is a Spanish Gold savefile, but it will load in any non japanese rom. All trades have been done using real hardware, no emulators or other means where involved in the process of getting the Celebi out of Stadium 2 until I dumped my savegame. Thanks to @theSLAYER for making it possible for me to get in contact with Dr.Matt, and lots of thanks to Dr.Matt himself for keeping the Celebi so many years and being so kind to meet with me so we all can enjoy an European Celebi. This had a special personal meaning to me, since I became aware my savegames banished in 2011 and finally re-completing the 251 original pokédex by getting the two exclusive legendaries in person is like reliving that moment in my childhood when I first completed my dexes.

  6. Event Gallery Updates A few weeks ago, we introduced new sections to our Event Gallery for events from generations 1-3, and last week, we introduced the Unreleased/Beta Pokemon Data section to store files such as a Celebi that was on the Mystery Gift servers without being distributed (and was then later distributed on the Pokémon Bank), the partner Pokémon from the Diamond/Pearl Kiosk Demo, and the Totem Pokémon from Sun/Moon. Credit to @theSLAYER for organizing everything. We also could not have done this without the help of the community, so we are awarding those who helped some badges. Badges In the Project Pokémon forums, you may have noticed that some members have colored usernames and icons underneath their avatars. We refer to these icons as "badges", and they are awarded to users who have contributed something to the community. A full list of our badges, username colors, and what they mean can be found here. Today, we would like to recognize the contributions that some of our members have made toward our Event Gallery, and we are awarding them the following badges: Event Contributor @argus1963 and @BLACKBIRD have earned this badge for helping out with Gen 7 events, and @Real.96, @HaxAras, @Deoxyz, and @InsaneNutter have earned it for helping out with Gen 3 events. @ajxpk has earned this badge for providing events for legality checking. Also @Gold Ursaring slipped through the cracks and never got a badge for contributing PCNY event Pokémon from Pokémon Crystal. Better late than never, I guess. Image Contributor @HaxAras, @argus1963, @BLACKBIRD, and @katsuya have earned this badge for providing things such as photos of events and on-screen distribution text, which are being used in our Event Gallery. Game Save Researcher @ajxpk, @suloku, and @BlackShark have earned this badge for helping research the structure of Gen 3 event files (technically suloku already had it, but we're recognizing him anyway). RAM Researcher @jojo12100 and @thaleskpl have earned this badge for dumping unused and unobtainable Pokémon for our new Unreleased/Beta Pokemon Data section of the event gallery. If we left anyone out, or if you know of anyone who deserves a badge, let us know by nominating the user in the User Ranks thread or by sending me a private message. If you have badges that give different username colors, PM me if you'd like the display color to be changed. Front-Page News I would like to once again bring attention to our User-Submitted News forum, where topics you post can reach the front page to be seen by all. This is open to all topics related to Pokémon hacking, and is a great place to bring focus to things including cool research and editing program releases/updates. We also have an open staff position or two on our News Team. Look here for information about how to apply if you're interested.

  11. I cracked the PCNYabcd algorithm! It uses a variation of BACD algorithm with unrestricted seeds. PIDH is xor'd against PIDL, TID, and SID. This algorithm makes antishiny detection easier (PIDH is less than 8 before alterations) and presumably if the pokemon becomes shiny, it could be easily modified. I don't have any specimens that require antishiny though. A few factors prevented this from being detected earlier. Mainly it was a bug in my check code from 2013. The check code didn't matter prior though cause it turns out almost all of the PCNY I received from people were hacks. The pokemon from Pokemon Secure are mostly hacks too. And of course the pokemon from GameFAQs on the box save are all completely legit. This is despite Pokemon Secure and others saying they werent.

  12. Introduction Howdy all. After the nightmare that is the question-fest in the comment section of the Japanese Shiny Tapu Koko, I decided to take my time to write this, in hopes that it will shed light on some questions surrounding this, and also future events. Groundwork in terminology To ensure we are all on the same page, some refresher on the terms that will be used. 3DS region refers to the region that your 3DS belongs to, named as per seen in your system settings page. Examples inside: Game Save Language refers to the language you selected at the start of the game. Wonder Card Language refers to the language of the wonder card, identified by the distribution text and distribution title. That is how our wonder cards are categorized in our Event Gallery. Pokemon Language refers to the language of origin of the Pokemon itself. Most wonder cards are programmed to have the generated Pokemon follow the Game Save Language, as opposed to the Wonder Card Language. Region locked: Event redemption (usually code) only redeemable on that one region. Region Free: Event redemption not restricted by regions. Region Expanded: Event may allow multiple regions, but not all. Now that we are all caught up, more reading! Types of distributions in Generation 7 Right now, these are the primary types of distributions, and how they are categorized: Serial code - Region locked or region expanded Local Wireless - Region Free Nintendo Network - Region locked An example of such a scenario is the Lunar Shiny Magikarp. Also, it appears that for HKTW unique distributions, you can only receive the distribution on EU 3DS, If your game save language is ENG, JPN, KOR, CHS or CHT. (thanks @Kirzi ) [meaning otherwise, you won't be able to receive the wonder card] Region locked options The simplicity of Local Distribution events Most, if not all, of Local Wireless and Infrared Region Free events only broadcast the wonder card in one language, which is normally the native language spoken in that country. Example, events held at Mega Tokyo Pokemon Center in Tokyo, Japan usually have Wonder Card Language as JPN. Events held in some mall in South Korea usually has Wonder Card Language as KOR. And since these events are Region Free, you can go and receive them on any 3DS region. Don't get duped by the Language Tab in a summary screen Ah, that black box that is the stuff of nightmares. During the release of the JPN Tapu Koko, people thought that only one that bears the "JPN" can be legit. WRONG. The language of the Pokemon (that we know is generated by Game Save Language) isn't the same as 3DS Region. It'll show up as long as language of Pokemon is different from game save language. Here's an example of the Legal Tapu Koko. As you can see, name and language is ENG, language tag doesn't appear (because game save language is same as PKM language), and 3DS Region is JP, meaning it's completely legal. It is possible for an event to force the pkm language to match the wonder card language, but so far it's only done on Ash-Greninja. Always be aware if the event is Region Locked, and whether it forces the Language of the Pokemon to follow Wonder Card Language. PS: PKHeX isn't programmed to deal with region locked events, as the wonder card themselves doesn't show whether it is region locked. So you may have a Pokemon with the wrong region, and PKHeX wouldn't correct you on it. Conclusion And there you have it. I've imparted all the knowledge I know regarding this. Make good use of this information. I'll give you a potato for surviving this long post, but I can't. Feel free to ask questions, However, anyone who posts questions that have the answers in this, (basically giving me the impression that you didn't read this) shall be royally punished. Haven't thought of how. Do we have any form of community service here, I wonder?

  13. Project Pokémon OP GBATemp OP PokéCommunity OP Reddit /r/3dshacks OP ROM hack of: Sun and Moon (3DS) Pokémon Nova Sun and Umbra Moon are mods for Pokémon Sun and Moon. Like my Rutile Ruby and Star Sapphire hacks, their main purpose is to provide a more challenging game experience while not artificially limiting the player. The premier feature of Nova Sun and Umbra Moon is the ground-up redesign of Pokémon Trainers in the world to increase the game's challenge. Every trainer in the game has been edited, and the level curve expects use of the Experience Share, which means that the player levels up very quickly. Every Pokémon in Trainers' teams has a hold item and a proper moveset. The end-game of the main story features trainers with Levels in the mid-nineties. Nova Sun and Umbra Moon's secondary focus is inspired by Super Smash Bros. Melee's "20XX Hack Pack" which enables features for competitive players to practice and grind. In Nova Sun and Umbra Moon's Legit Build, everything obtainable is 100% legal and legitimate for real online battles or trades. In all Builds, some features are designed to make preparing competitive teams much less of a hassle. Competitive hold items are much more available, a 6IV Ditto is available through an in-game trade (holding a Destiny Knot), Eggs hatch in one cycle, and Level 100 Memento Blissey battles are available in the Battle Buffet once the main story has been beaten. (As discussed, link removed as it directs to page that host files from ROMs. Please upload files accepted by the forum, thanks )

  14. I'm sorry to burst your bubble love, but If you used codes to get the item to unlock the event, its not legit, its not legal. It's illegal. (besides, something isn't even legal, it cannot be legit) Also, with the lack of Crystal and the GS Ball event in VC right now, it is not possible to get any Celebi during normal gameplay, (even glitches to obtain the GS ball is questionable, but right now Crystal isn't even out) Important point: I'm am not denouncing your effort. I think it is amazing that people have the patience to SR something until it is shiny. But, just because you put in effort doesn't mean it isn't hacked/cheated. The entire process has to be legit, for the Pokemon to be legit. People put in a lot of effort to remove the shiny lock, to SR for a shiny Zygarde, and it is impressive, but not legal nor legit. [I put in a lot of effort to glitzer pop a Shiny Celebi, and it's illegal lol] Now, to go back to your question (on how to be legal and shiny concurrently), which I'll address from a VC point of view: 1. Even if Crystal is released, they could choose to not give away GS ball 2. Even if they decide to give it away, it may be Japan only. If your Celebi is caught in a non-Japanese game, there is almost no chance it'll be legal, since only Japan got the GS ball event previously. 3. Wait for PokeTransporter update. If Poketransporter allows a Shiny Celebi to be transferred, despite it not being obtainable, just proclaim it to be "glitched", not "legal", not "legit", and you get your wish. I mean, isn't the most important thing, having your prized possession in Gen 7 through legitimate means?

  19. The Mew contained in this Pokemon Blue save file is legit and was obtained from a ToysRus distribution in 1999. The first 1,500 customers at each Toys "R" Us store around the United States received a special 'Peel & Win' sticker card on November 26, 1999. 200 at each store contained the text "Caught Me!" underneath, which allowed players to receive a Mew from December 8 to 12, 1999. Legitimate Mews for GEN1 Pokemon games are extremely rare these days, due to the fact the save games on Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow game cartridges get erased when the battery inside the game cartridge runs out. Luckily wilykat from the EverDrive forums had backed has save game up so was able to share this rare Pokemon GEN1 event Pokemon with us. 20. Hey everyone, hope ya'll are enjoying the new and final 3DS core series games! So as promised, I spent the last 4-5 days researching UM for new data it holds, and I've gotten enough that I wanted to. Luckily, I'm kinda apathetic towards these games in general, so I didn't mind spoiling myself on anything about the story before I start my personal playthrough on Friday. Now to start off, I've updated my legal Pokedex and Item codes to include the new titles. You can check them out by clicking here (link also in my signature)! If anyone wants and can, feel free to create a program to inject them into saves, because I doubt PKHeX would. Next is what was literally the most tedious thing for me (took me a day just for one character), and that is the Player's wardrobe codes for legal, illegal and New Game blocks. I've scrutinized the codes, specifically the legal ones to ensure that they're dye-free same way the Rick and Morty staff tries to perfect their work and am confident they're ready to be posted/implemented. Of course, if you think something is wrong, please don't hesitate to say so. Male (Copy+Paste Write into offsets 42600-42B84): New Game All Legal (No Pastel/Bright/Dark variants) All (Illegal) (NOTE: DO NOT ACCESS A DYE SHOP APPLYING THIS OR YOU WILL CRASH RE-BOOT): Female (Copy+Paste Write into offsets 42600-42BA8): New Game All Legal (No Pastel/Bright/Dark variants) All (Illegal) (NOTE: DO NOT ACCESS A DYE SHOP APPLYING THIS OR YOU WILL CRASH RE-BOOT): Next up, I've re-documented the offsets for Festival Plaza, which you can find and inquire about in its respective thread by clicking here. You can shoot me a message if you want to learn how to hex edit them until PKHeX implements this. I've also re-documented the data for Poke Pelago: Next, exclusive to USUM, here are the offsets for Mantine Surf high scores for each island and the highest number the game can record: Melemele Island score: 4538 (0-999999) Akala Island score: 453C (0-999999) Ula'Ula Island score: 4540 (0-999999) Poni Island score: 4544 (0-999999) And finally, here are some USUM stats that I've posted before on the PKHeX sub-forum, but also found a few more to add: 70 - Roto Lotos 073- Mantine Surf BP Earned 160 - Pelago Treasure Hunts (Also for SM) 189- Mantine Surf Plays 190- Photo Club Photos saved 195- Photo Club Sticker usage 196- Photo Club Photo Shoots 198- Highest Mantine Surf BP Earned That's all I have to share for now, gotta finish up other personal things. Once more, if you have any inquiries, do post about it or shoot me a message. I'll try to respond when I have the time. Enjoy!

  21. For anyone on the fence with contributing I know Deoxyz has personally invested a lot of his own money (were talking $1000's) in both the 10ANNIV and Aurora Ticket Distribution then released them for free asking for nothing in return. In addition he was the one who got us a distributed set of the French, German, Italian and Spanish 10ANNIV Pokemon, along with the Aura Mew in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish for the GEN 3 event save myself and HaxAras has spent a lot of time on last year. Something we learned a lot later on that the research team here didn't even have these Pokemon. So needless to say if you value these old, rare Pokemon event's and want to see people enjoy them now and in the future it's well worth donating anything you can justify in my opinion. Sadly these old events are usually hoarded away in private collections never to be seen again, when a chance to obtain them comes up its often very costly unfortunately, Deoxyz has absorbed this up front on PayPal credit, however this and anything in the future is only going to be viable if the community comes together to make it happen. If this comes off their is also another event in the works, which has been for many months now. This is close to been finalised too, so this year could potentially be another good year for GEN 3 events.

  22. Hey all! I thought I'd share something really cool and that is... Legal PokeDex and Bag inventory hex codes! That's right! I've been working on this on the side since the PGL banning took effect, and have been researching what is out and what isn't. If you know if something is released or not that I haven't included in the Dex or inventory, do post about it. If you haven't noticed, I've not included some past gen Pokemon: mainly Mythical Pokemon with Chinese entries as it's a newly added language this gen and those Pokemon would need to be released as an event. !USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK AS GAME FREAK AND NINTENDO MAY NOT UP TO DATE WITH WHAT IS RELEASED THEMSELVES! Simple Instructions 1) First off download a hex editing tool, I recommend HxD as it's user friendly and advanced. You can download it by clicking here. Note: If you have a Mac, try running it in Wine or use Hex Fiend. (Won't be able to properly assist you if this is your setup.) 2) Open your save file (the main file) in the hex editor. 3) Press Ctrl+E. 4) Enter the following values for the Start-Offset and End-Offset listed for your desired option and press OK. (eg. Enter 2A88 for Start-Offset and 32E7 for End-Offset if you want the legal PokeDex for SM, or 2C88 for Start-Offset and 34E7 for End-Offset for the legal PokeDex in USUM,) 5) Highlight the entire block of values under the spoiler tag of your desired option and copy it. 6) Go back into the hex editor, Right-Click on the highlighted area and select Paste Write. 7) Save the file by going into File then hit Save or just press Ctrl+S. Open your save file you just hex edited in PKHeX and save it over the file you just created. (This will correct the checksum, which will allow you import your save that's been hex edited without any corruption.) 9) That's it! Just re-import your save back to your game with your 3DS save tool of choice and enjoy!

I'll try to get this decent tomorrow. There are some readme included. FAQ: Q: What's the diference between using any of these injection apps and sending my cartridge to nintendo? A: None. Q: I have a ESP/GER/ITA/FRE game. If I inject the USA Mystic ticket, will this be legit? A: All evidence suggests that the USA Wondercard distributions were compatible with all non-japanese games. Game release dates make it also technically possible to have received an Emerald Mystic ticket on an European game, and we know the USA Aurora Ticket distribution device is compatible with European games (but it only distributed the english wondercard, fully opetational though). - USA and UK games are the very same game rom, so all the english events apply to both, regarless of being European or USA. - The spanish Emerald Aurora ticket wondercard is fine, Nintendo messed up and left Vermillion city instead of updating the wondercard text to Hoenn. The event was never done in Spain, but it could be received at other countries if you used the spanish cart, so it is totally legit, so don't worry, nintendo was very sloppy with this. - Nintendo also messed up the german Eon Ticket (there is photo proof from oficial german distribution that this was already known). 25. In light of recent events, I want to reinforce this point to our users: Please do not submit hacks, fakes, custom cards, etc. Maybe you think you're helping the community out: you're not. Maybe you just want a quick laugh; do it elsewhere, preferably not at the expense of our kind users. In any case, I will like to take this opportunity to thank our users who submit self-obtained wonder cards. They are the heroes to everyone interested in event collections (except to hacker-haters, of course ;P )

  28. FYI to anyone who has the temptation to buy this cart, the rom is in possession of private collectors, and we know the nature of these GBA devcarts mean they can be rewritten (thus possible repros) if you've found the software needed to do so. Never trust a loose devcart. Also, the price is way too expensive (worth much less than 1k imo), when even with asinine overpriced roms, I could theoretically obtain the French, German, Italian, and Spanish variants of both the 10A and Aura Mew roms all together for slightly less than what the seller is asking for this single cart. But anyway, I guess it's a good time to post these images, which I've kept private for a long time.

  29. If anyone is still unsure needs clarification, these Mystery Mews were distributed by direct trade from a special savefile that Nintendo injected on standard FireRed cartridges, for use at the Toys R Us event in 2006. The reason this particular cart differs from our other Mystery Mew savefiles, is that it still contains all the remaining Mystery Mews we haven't yet been able to obtain and archive. The legitimacy was verified with the seller by comparing a row of Natures with our partially reconstructed data. For this reason, and perhaps a one time opportunity, it was worth the massive expense, which the majority of the burden currently lies on me and @HaxAras Any donations are appreciated to help us cover the expense, as the end result is something that will benefit our community as a whole in regards to event preservation and legality. To clarify, donations are to be sent through PayPal, to "deoxys04@gmail.com". Any donations will go immediately towards paying off PayPal Credit.

  34. Both Deoxyz and HaxAras provide valid points, so my contribution to this discussion is this: If you're playing solo, it doesn't matter what you do in-game, as long as you get maximum satisfaction. Legality issue comes up when you interact with other players. As long as we respect what their take on it is, then it's all good. If we don't know what their take is (such as online play), we should follow community standards, to only trade Legit/Legal Pokemon, which in this case, the Shiny Mew does not qualify, as it was distributed with 15 DVs, meaning not intended to be shiny. (It doesn't matter whether transporter blocks it or not. Arbitrary Code Execution is in the realm of cheating, as opposed to a single trade oversight [shiny Manaphy egg]) <Also I agree with HaxAras: I try to do everything in game without save editors, it's epic fun this way> edit: For any users that shadow this thread, I've uploaded pk1 and pk7 for Mews (Eng and Jpn): edit 2: Since International copies non-Japanese copies can trade with one another, and language of transported Pokemon follows game it was transported from: [I was able to trade on VC between ENG and SPA, and not ENG and JPN] (all the PK7 was transported by me.)

  36. If you have any European carts, then we could probably use the rom dumps. I've been in contact with someone who has all 16 US DS distro carts, and I've instructed him on methods to dump the roms, so I hope to have them by next week. However we can't upload roms here, or even link to them, but I've been helping build the most extensive distro rom compilation over on another site that is ok with roms. I can discuss it more in private if you're interested or have anything you want to contribute.

  37. I'm fairly certain the VBA emulator has link cable emulation support. Though I mainly uploaded it for historical preservation, and for public knowledge, especially after I saw the demand for it from our researchers. A GBA everdrive will get the job done for those who want to use it if VBA doesn't work. Anyway, i put up two more links if the first one gives anyone trouble. Note, I'm sorry if anyone didn't want this public, but I've been thinking hard about it for a while. I did pay a large amount of money for it so I understand that, but I honestly don't believe GBA distribution roms will make it that much easier to make counterfeits with than with DS distribution roms. It's 2016 and all pokemon distribution related data should be publicly available. We already started with posting our Mew saves regardless the obvious potential repercussions, so why stop now?

  38. While this is an interesting discussion and I personally would like to see a 10anniv multiboot distro in the wild, I can understand that users who purchased them have the liberty to decide whether or not they'll like to release it. When it comes to scammers and cheaters when there's a means, there's a way. If we don't release it, someone else likely will, so we may as well do it properly. We have pkhex here, despite not wanting people to cheat online, and one can argue that without pkhex, there may not be rampant cheating, but someone else (prime example is Datel, and eventually others came along) will likely find a way. Back to eBay, scammers online will remain a constant, whether they have the distribution unit or not. They just grab files, produce bootlegs and sell. While it totally sucks to be scammed, consumers really should do their research first, since scammers already exist. This thread isn't the right place for this discussion, and while discussions of roms in the past were much more strictly enforced, I believe that as long as the distribution of said material isn't within the walls of our forums or directly linked, it probably won't be a problem. If anyone wants to continue this discussion regarding whether distro units or saves should be dumped to the wild, at least do it at another thread, as this thread originally is regarding the Mews.

  39. I'll be paying serious money for any and all carts that I buy in the future as well. I don't care about the perceived value of something in somebody elses collection or the value to some seller. Information should be free and public. Any and all distribution devices I ever buy, I will be making public. The only reason I haven't dumped my DS distribution carts is because I currently do not have the means to do so. I have massive respect for Metropolis both for their Gen 1-3 conversion tool as well as their offer to dump the modified ROM. If they spent a ton of money on it and care about the value, that's their business. I'll be spending whatever it takes to get one of these ROMs and dumping it no matter what. That's been my plan since I first learned about them in 2012. The only thing I care about is preservation. If it's the real thing or a 20$ cart. I guess we will have to find out. As for making it public. I can't control what scumbags do on Ebay or uneducated people buy on that website. They should do research before buying something like that.

  41. Project Pokémon does not support or condone cheating at the expense of others. While this community contains research, information, and utilities allowing people to alter the games' behavior or create their own Pokémon, we do not agree with using them against players who are unaware that significantly hacked Pokémon are in use because they are an unfair advantage and can ruin everyone's online experience. See "Significantly Hacked Pokémon" for details about what qualifies. What we do allow using cheats or significantly hacked Pokémon for: Private Collections In-Game Use Battling with friends locally if they are aware that your Pokémon are hacked Battling with friends online if you have exchanged Friend Codes and they are aware that your Pokémon are hacked What we do not allow using cheats or significantly hacked Pokémon for (will result in infractions if you do any of these): Online battles against unsuspecting opponents Link trades with unsuspecting players Random Match-ups Trading with GTS Trading through Surprise/Wonder Trade What we especially do not allow using cheats or significantly hacked Pokémon for (will result in an instant ban if you do any of these): Tournaments (official or otherwise) Promoting activities that could potentially result in safe file damage, account, or console bans for unsuspecting players (see Dangerous Activities below) Users asking for or knowingly providing cheats or significantly hacked Pokémon for use with online play will receive official warnings, as well as users participating in such discussion. If you see anyone who's clearly cheating, please report the post, and a staff member will take care of it as soon as possible. Please help us keep everyone's online experience as clean as possible by using hacks responsibly. Significantly Hacked Pokémon Please note that when we say "significantly hacked", we mean that a Pokémon's immutable state has changed. Any illegal Pokémon (that is, any Pokémon that cannot ever be obtained using official methods) is also considered "significantly hacked". If official legality checks determine a Pokémon of yours is hacked, then it qualifies as "significantly hacked", and falls under the policy outlined above. Examples of edits that define significantly hacked Pokémon include: Species PID IVs Pokéball OT What is not considered "significantly hacked" includes shortcut-ted efforts, clones, or any edits that could be made in-game using official methods. Examples of edits that do not count as significantly hacked: Maxed out EVs (but not over the maximum) Experience Egg steps Changing an ability using an Ability Capsule Legal form changes Legal move combinations While I think the description above covers everything, if you have any questions about what counts as cheating, feel free to PM a moderator (like me). Dangerous Activities Some edits can be dangerous, and are just not worth it, as they can result in save file corruption, account, or console bans. This includes but is not limited to the following: Hacked raids Sword/Shield Egg Glitch Pokémon HOME transfers

  45. @ReignOfComputer I'm still analyzing your dumps, and something interesting happened! It seems like the entire distribution is held by the game, then chosen at random! I'm completely through it, but there are WC7FULL for Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon in your Day 2 - N3DS Dump - dump_pid2f_6. dmp (which process and offset was that again?) //----------edit----------// The dump_pid2f_6.dmp was the only dump that yielded any WC7FULL (I believe this is Niji_loc, at 0x800000 right) I theorize that this is the same process for Infrared events, and you could probably dump it using NTR by walking away from the counter, meaning: 1. Launch NTR, then Launch game 2. Queue up 3. when its your turn, get the event, but keep at at this screen and put your 3DS to sleep 4. Walk away from the counter and crowd 5. Open back up 3DS, while staying on that screen, go to NTR and dump the desired process This way, you get all relevant events at one shot (won't have to re-queue for eggs, for example) Once I get confirmation from ROC, @BLACKBIRD @katsuya @argus1963@Kirzi may wanna take note of this method, and perhaps get familiarized with it, as you guys are the most likely to get Local Wireless or Infrared events our first ever Local Wireless WC7FULL.rar

The English 10ANNIVs and Italian 10ANNIs in the zip are the same ones I uploaded previously, so they're nothing new. I just wanted a compilation zip. Note that the Aura Mews don't have unique OTs, just the origin language data differentiates them.

Since Mr. Mike and Farfetch'd caught with the Trainer-Fly glitch don't appear with correct names when transferred over, simply nickname them bad words, transfer them with Poke Transporter and then the filter will automatically revert them back to the corrected name. It's very simple.
