If you have any European carts, then we could probably use the rom dumps. I've been in contact with someone who has all 16 US DS distro carts, and I've instructed him on methods to dump the roms, so I hope to have them by next week. However we can't upload roms here, or even link to them, but I've been helping build the most extensive distro rom compilation over on another site that is ok with roms. I can discuss it more in private if you're interested or have anything you want to contribute.2 points

Sorry about how long it took. If anyone still needs a second save for anything then here it is. sav.dat 151 - MEW - E4BE.pk12 points

The Mew contained in this Pokemon Blue save file is legit and was obtained from a ToysRus distribution in 1999. The first 1,500 customers at each Toys "R" Us store around the United States received a special 'Peel & Win' sticker card on November 26, 1999. 200 at each store contained the text "Caught Me!" underneath, which allowed players to receive a Mew from December 8 to 12, 1999. Legitimate Mews for GEN1 Pokemon games are extremely rare these days, due to the fact the save games on Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow game cartridges get erased when the battery inside the game cartridge runs out. Luckily wilykat from the EverDrive forums had backed has save game up so was able to share this rare Pokemon GEN1 event Pokemon with us. I went and boxed your mew on my 3DS, got the same as HMM's, so that settles it (I didn't know this happened, I should check how trash bytes are handled in the different games and generations, best case scenario would be that some stadium game erases them completely...). We have 3 different saves and all 3 mews are the same, alongside the fact that they used savestates (and with it, they were distributing cloned Mews), but still I'm sure someone would appreaciate a 100% confirmation of different distro consoles providing the very same Mew. Now, when is that pokebank update coming? ps: RupeeClock, I was refering not to the dump method itself, but if he had done another trade before dumping the savegame, as I was thinking that maybe trading again was what changed the trash bytes.1 point

Yeah that's no problem if you see a box full of mews it's because I cloned them incase someone wanted one aha I'll send it in a pm tomorrow for you. Thanks for the link, my childhood goal has been accomplished Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk1 point

It would be better if you could upload your full savefile from your 3DS. If you don't want to make it public, you might send it via private messaging and I'll check the mew against the other one uploaded. (For anyone wondering, full savefile is better just in case pkhex bugs out and modifies the pokemon while creating the pk1 file). Also, you are right, the link at first post is down (yet another link to repair in the new forums), here you have an alternative download (I hope this is not considered spam): https://digiex.net/threads/pokemon-gen1-legit-mew-save-from-1999-toysrus-distribution-red-blue-yellow.14648/1 point

Eh, I like buying interesting things. It has a place in my collection so if the pictures would be useful to anybody, I can share those.1 point

If this link is the said issue, it appears to be sold out. (I think it's the correct one, since the Mewtwo Card is supposedly featured. That's likely why it was purchased)1 point

I'm trying to do translations on it. Present #1 Thank you! Pokemon Mew Present!! The final of final gifts!? Get Mew on your Pokemon Software!! (Pokemon Software is how they referred to the Cartridges/Games) Big Chance! Obtain Mythical Pokemon Mew! (Can't read the portion with the black and blue words) Coincidentally, I have that very Pokemon Playing Mat! edit: With the correct volume ID or dates, you may be able to grab the entire volume at an affordable price off Mandarake (It's like a Megastore chain that ships out first or second hand japanese stuff. It has many stores across Japan, and shipping can be combined when bought from same store. Got Japanese Pokemon Cards and Gundams from there lol)1 point

I tried zooming in but it just got blurrier and blurrier. I contacted an Ebay Seller who is Japanese, lives in Japan and claims they have a lot of resources and can track stuff down. I asked them if they could track down that issue of the magezine for me to purchase. Fingers crossed. If I can get it, I can take a lot more pictures at different angles.1 point

Just download the latest compiled from: http://teamcity.skyeditor.org/viewLog.html?buildId=5674&buildTypeId=PKHeX_PKHeXBuildPr&tab=artifacts If you want to do it yourself, note that PKHeX's logic (PKHeX.Core) is now separate from the UI (PKHeX.WinForms). Compiling PKHeX.Core gives a .dll which is referenced by PKHeX.WinForms. Build PKHeX.WinForms to get the .exe (by default builds to \PKHeX\PKHeX.WinForms\bin\<Debug/Release>\PKHeX.exe).1 point

Sure First off, download a Hex Editor; the one I use and recommend is called HxD: https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ 1. Export a copy your save file via the homebrew/CFW app you use 2. Put your SD Card into your computer 3. Open your main save file in HxD 4. Copy the entire corresponding code for your character under one of the spoiler tags in this post: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/forums/topic/39433-sun-moon-stat-records/?do=findComment&comment=207145 5. In HxD at the top click search > goto... 6. Enter 42000 and hit enter 7. Highlight starting at where the cursor is at to 4256B if your using the male character or 425A7 (Must say Block: 42000-4256B if using the male or Block: 42000-425A7 if female at the bottom) 8. Right click then select Paste write 9. At the top left click on File > Save to make the change 10. Open your save in PKHeX then save it once again in order to correct what's called the checksum Now import your save back to your game and you should have a fresh inventory! Tell me if there's anything you don't get and I'll try my best to help1 point

@Soniktts Wow, you actually happen to have all 10 European carts, just what we've needed to finish off a complete compilation of all DS distro roms on another website. I'm not sure if you're even willing to dump and share some of these roms, but it would seriously be greatly appreciated if you would. We can't actually upload or link roms on this site, which is why we're compiling these on another site, but we can discuss it in detail via private message if you're interested.1 point

I can also confirm that @Deoxyz has pretty much singlehandedly revived that other site haha1 point

Hi, the imgur post and save file is mine. I have not used this name online for many many years but seems appropriate for this forum! Suloku found me and I was happy to bring all these Mews together into one save. I have no problems with distribution of these files, since at this point Mew is very easy to obtain and they were only gathering dust in my collection. Here are both the retron5 save file and one converted for use in emulators or tools Retron5 Format Save File: https://goo.gl/f2XZhs Converted Save File: https://goo.gl/tr06GS Again big thanks to Suloku and the Pokémon project forums for being such an amazing resource for Pokémon game preservation and analysis. You guys really kick ass! Trip1 point

**The first part of my tutorials is here if you're looking for it - -hacking-tutorial-part-1-File-decompression-recompression'>http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?46250-Stars-Pokemon-colosseum-and--hacking-tutorial-part-1-File-decompression-recompression** images: There are still a lot of things I haven't been able to figure out on my own so far. It is to be hoped, that with my knowledge of pokemon colosseum and hacking now available to more people we will see some progress. Some things on the list are things I've started to piece together but got stuck. Some things I just couldn't find at all. I. physical/special split Done II. Editing map scripts Done III. Editing textures Done IV. Editing models - Things I haven't been able to figure out at all - I. Where is the weakness/resistance table ?! Done It's been in the same format in all the other games but I can't seem to figure it out for colosseum or . II. I know where the sound files are but I don't know how to edit them. Their file names and magic bytes might give the formats away though. I just don't know much about music formats and its a low priority for me. III. ASM hacking Done The majority of it will be in start.dol. The gamecube runs on the powerPC architecture which is very well documented and in fact I have a hex editor on my mac that was able to disassemble the code for me without me needing to specify any details. My assemly programming isn't great though as I kind of missed those lectures in uni ... (damn!) Understanding the game's programming could allow all sorts of hacks like making new move effects (e.g. trick room or quiver dance), make new abilities (e.g. adaptability or mega launcher) increasing the walking speed or adding new battle mechanics from later generations like drizzle expiring or not switching in your next pokemon when one dies until the end of the turn (For those who don't know, back in gen III, in double battles if one pokemon fainted you had to replace it straight away meaning if you doubled up on a slot then you could knock out that pokemon and then hit the next pokemon switched in on the same turn). We could also change things like the chances of finding shiny pokemon (which is set to 0 in ) or the critical hit chances and damage multiplier like in gen VI.
