Players can revive an Omanyte from the Helix Fossil, when they bring the fossil to the Cinnabar Island Laboratory. Helix Fossil is an item that is chosen from 2 fossils at Mt. Moon, and can be acquired as a repeatable item from the sparkling spots of the 2F of Cerulean Cave. -
Hello- Many posts here have helped me a lot on my journey but I’m stuck now and hoping someone can help. (revised for clarity) (solved i think) Situation is I don’t have any GBA consoles and I’m working on a Gen III living dex. I have a DS Lite and a DS flash cart so I am able to copy and replace save files on the Gen III cartridges. I am trying to trade a second starter from Ruby onto my main playthrough, which is on Emerald. I am able to successfully copy the save files and complete the trade, however, whenever I try to copy the new Emerald save file onto the cartridge, I lose all berries. I’ve used PKHex and a DS flashcart tool to adjust the RTC, but no matter what I’ve tried the berries do not come back. I’ve tried with mGBA and vba-m, the latter with and without RTC enabled. Fortunately, I am able to revert to the save file from before the trade, and berries do come back. So if this isn’t possible it isn’t the end of the journey. Thank you for any help you might be able to give! Edit: Searched some different terms here today and found people with similar issues. I was able to fix this in the dumbest way possible: changing my PC’s time to match the battery’s time (August 24, 2001!) and then using vba-m with RTC enabled. Moved the save back to the cart and it still works! I recommend anyone starting a new game on a Gen III cartridge to go ahead and set the battery date to today’s date before starting the game. This completely mitigates the issue with moving saves back and forth from emulators and cartridges. -
So I just started a Diamond file and I'm coming across something kinda unusual. I placed a Pokémon in Box 1, but when I open PKHeX, the box appears empty (and reloading the Box by switching to the adjacent ones and back doesn't seem to work). When I load the save back up, the Pokémon is still there where it should be, so... Using the latest version of PKHeX as well. Now I'm not sure if this is just a quirk with my game since I'm very early on, or if it's an actual problem and whether or not it extends to the other Gen 4 games.

Hi there, I've been recently experimenting with Batch Editing Pokemon in Gen 7 in order to gen Pokemon from Gen 8, and I've been doing it pretty well with few errors. However, yesterday, I encountered a very weird error. When using my Batch Editor template down below to help gen my complete National Pokedex, Bank will freeze make me power cycle my console when I deposit any of the Pokemon made with it. Also, the Ability stays the exact same as the Pokemon I am replacing, despite the "$uggest" tag being present. The "$uggest" tag works with abilites on the starters from Gen 8 just fine for some reason, but nothing else. I think my Shining Pearl is glitched. After defeating the E4 for the first time, I decided to rematch the gym leaders (I've also been to the post-game island). After Volkner, I decided to talk to Jasmine and noticed she gave the TMs for waterfall (I guess I never got it from her before). Then I checked my map and it says I should go to the Pokemon league. After defeating it for the third time, it still shows on my map that I should go there. How do I fix this?

So i used pk3ds to randmoize my USUM everything works and i can run the game just fine but the trainers that I randomized have random levels which makes no sense and I dont know why... They have random pokemon names and classes which is what i checked off in the settings but my first rival battle was versus lvl 54! The game that I randomized is USUM please help!

This page will be used to document the various usages of this glitch (before it gets patched) Usages #1. Evolve mons where the species have an evolution, but those mons can't evolve due to reasons (Male Salandit or G-Meowth/G-Eevee, for example) Have the one that is about to evolve (and can evolve) in the first slot. Have the one you intend to evolve in the second slot. Have nothing else in the remaining slots. Use the last rare candy on the first slot. Right as the EXP bar starts moving, hold Down on your Joycon, at you'll hear the cursor move down. The 2nd slot would instead be the one that evolves, despite EXP going to the 1st slot. Presently, this trick does not appear to work with stone evolutions, so cannot get G-Pikachu-> Raichu, or G-Eevee->Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, Glaceon. This also means that stuff that requires Happiness can be evolved at the level it is caught, and various evolved forms can be obtained under-leveled. #2. Evolve Eggs (species in egg must match the species in the slot above) Keep in mind the one that is about to evolve be on 1st slot, and the egg be in 2nd slot. Only hold the down button once the 1st slot gains EXP. Same as steps in #1. #3. Giving an inaccurate amount of EXP Have one mon in the first slot (preferably high level) Have another mon in the second slot. Keep the remaining slots empty. Prepare to use the last rare candy on the 1st slot. Right as you click "A", immediately hold the Down button on your Joyon. (if you the Down button too late, the EXP would go to the 1st slot, like Rare Candy normally would) You'll hear the sound that indicates that cursor moved, and your 2nd slot would be awarded an inaccurate amount of EXP. The EXP is based on how much the 1st slot would have needed to level up. *Page will be updated as more information appears*

It seems to have no hack check at all or a weak one it let's permanent megas though has anyone tried to transfer pokemon that don't exist too it? Has any one tried using that version of pkhex to test this.

so how does one pull of an extrremspeed in psychic terrain ? last one i did one with zygarde and someone said i was because aura break ( which i'm pretty sure is not the reason ) and now recently someone did the exact same thing with arcanine and i'm kinda confused about this lol ? Additional info if it helps : The time when i puller it of the terrain came from psychic surge lele but not the one which arcanine pulled of was right after a genesis supernova

The Claw Fossil, Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil, Jaw Fossil, Sail Fossil and Root Fossil are showing up as illegal "unreleased items" when placed as a held item on any Pokemon. They're currently available in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon through the shop in Konikoni City (each version has a different set) and the Poke Pelago.

Thanks to GlitchCity researches we discovered in Gold/Silver an unused map called DA00 in Kanto that generates wild Pokemon. Chances of corrupting your save with it are very high and Pokemon are over lv100. Apparently another like that exist also in Crystal but it was not documented. -

I was looking for this for a bit before I just pulled it off myself. I saw other threads requesting cute charm glitch files, so here you go. This is for Pearl. Pretty sure it won't work for Platinum. Might work for Diamond, I'm not too familiar with that, someone else might be. I pulled this off on DesmuMe. After conjuring it up, I injected it into my cartridge, and it seems to work perfectly fine. My first shiny was a Kricketot, second was a Starly, and so on. Details: Trainer name: Dawn Gender: Female TID: 20101 No badges. Save is right after the assistant gives you pokeballs. Male lead. Equipped with a cute charm Delcatty in the first party spot. I have an Italian cartridge of pokemon emerald. My battery ran dry so I replaced it with a new one. Now the clock is working but all daily based events are frozen. I think it’s similar to the berry glitch of ruby/sapphire. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you !

Hello, I plan to start a new game in Fire Red, and I'd like to "shinify" the PID 8B1D95DC in order to get a shiny Suicune with the spread 0/0/0/0/0/0; so, in other words, a Suicune that should be unaffected by the Roamer's glitch, just for the sake of it. However, after some test done with PKHeX, it turns out that such Suicune is marked as illegal, while other Method 1 Pokemons with that spread are legal. Apparently, the issue is an "Encounter type PID mismatch". Is it an error with PKHeX, or this Suicune is simply unobtainable? And, if this is the case, what's the reason? Thank you in advance for your help.

Howdy guys, today I'll be presenting to you all: Poketransporter Cloning Glitch (and of course, we aren't responsible for any mishaps) What you'll need: 1. An active subscription of Pokemon Bank 2. Virtual Console version of Pokemon Gold or Silver (and potentially Crystal). Works on both JPN and ENG (KOR Untested) 3. Reached the point where you can clone Pokemon in the VC games 4. An empty box 1 (anything here will be deleted) 5. A full box of Pokemon you want to clone Alright, let's begin. 1. "Change Box" to Box 1 2. Save the game 3. Changing box to the box full of Pokemon to be cloned. When it is saving, reset the game (timing akin to cloning on VC) 4. Once the game reloads, immediately proceed to Poketransporter 5. If all is done correctly, Poketransporter will incorrectly show the Pokemon from the other box. Transfer said Pokemon. At this point, you have cloned your Pokemon from the other box! It'll be in both your VC games and your Pokebank! Known side effect: having a glitched "amount" seen in your Box 1. I characterised this as a "value underflow". Poketransporter tries to perform a subtraction on the amount of Pokemon in the Box 1, but since it was 0, it went under and reverted to values above x99, and starts showing glitch symbols (in a similar style to Gen 1, when item cloning goes above x99). If you want to prevent this, have a full box of unwanted Pokemon in box 1. here is a video doen by KrimzenTV, who chanced upon it: -

Hi, I discovered that when you check Unown as seen or caught in the Pokédex in PKHeX for a Gen2 save file, its sprite is glitched up in the game's Pokédex. I am not yet sure if this also happens for later Pokémon games. Here's a screenshot:
