  1. it really isn't all that shocking for women to do the voices of young boys. Boys grow up and their voices change.
  2. Will Pokemod implement some form of system to help forgetful hackers like myself in remembering to edit the Hidden Hex values selection?
  3. I don't even know what he's saying either.
  4. This looks shooped I can tell by the pixels and haven seen many shoops in my days ...I had to say that, sorry.
  5. Lets say I make a Flygon and do everything perfectly to make it "mine." Since Flygon is not available in Platinum, one has to hatch an egg in order to make it "their's." Now lets say I make it so its Hometown is Diamond. Will it still treat me as its original trainer?
  6. Lets see if I can take a stab at this... First, in order to make a legit-looking Pokemon, or as we here call "legal", It must have these things. If you want it to be YOUR'S, it has to have these 4 attributes match with your's (the trainer) - Trainer Name - Trainer Gender - Trainer ID - Secret ID On to the pokemon itself. - No more than 510 total EVs - Must contain a legal EV spread - Must be hatched (if applicable) or found in real in-game locations - Hex values must match those two locations. This is tricky, but this guide helps http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?p=5929 - Unless its an event, no Pokemon can be caught in a Cherish Ball - It is best to leave the Ribbons selection unchecked - Language setting must be set for whatever game you're playing - leave Fateful Encounter unchecked unless it is one (like riley's egg) - Do not use illegal moves - Do not use illegal abilities - Make sure you set the Hometown to the proper game (most of the time you'll want to set it to Platinum) If the pokemon is FOUND, not hatched - Use the PID/IV button instead of GENERATE. Certain IV spreads are illegal with certain natures. For example, a Zapdos cannot have perfect IVs and be bold. If the selections are not to your liking, alter the IV spread. - Make sure the "met at level" and "met in place" boxes are legal. If the pokemon is HATCHED, - You may use the GENERATE button instead of the PID/IV - Keep the "Met at Level" box at zero - The Pokemon must be caught with a Poke Ball and nothing else I THINK thats all... And after you'll all finished, be sure to use the Legality Checker on the homepage to ensure your Pokemon is legal.
  7. Ghost, Dark, Ice, Electric and Rock. That sort of outweighs Earthquake and the never-used Normal type : /
  8. Good. I'm afraid the Hex values will be the most-missed details. I wish the next version of Pokesav or Pokemod would automatically set the Hidden Values to their proper locations, but also have a setting where you can change them. But having the Legality checker ensure things is good as well.
  9. so-so movepool? The available moves Garchomp has matches that of Lucario's. He too suffers from reverse-movepool syndrome.
  10. I like Drifloon because he's weak to 5 common move types. oh wait, that's why I don't like Drifloon Though I keep her as an HM slave. I'm doing a... NO BIBAREL RUN. I don't even have one!
  11. Is Fenzo was liar... THEN WHO WAS PHONE? ¯\(°_o)/¯
  12. primarily, the first thing every person needs to think about are the Pokemon they'll most likely have to face. Scizor, T-tar, Heatran, Latias, Salamence, Gyarados, Lucario, Infernape, Zapdos basically everything here http://www.smogon.com/dp/tiers/ou Then you need to create a team that can not only counter those Pokemon, but can assure a victory. There are typically three types of common teams: Offensive: All offense. Pokemon go in and fight to the death. They mostly rely on speed and physical/special power to get the job done. Salamence, Scizor, etc. Usually use items like the Choice set and life orb. Stall: Imagine a team that barely attacks, yet is able to own. Thats what stall teams are. These teams rely heavily on synergy, utilizing moves like Stealth Rock, Hail and Toxic to the fullest. One main problem with these teams is that they allow the opponent to set up unless they can roar/whirlwind away. Sometimes all it takes is the defeat of one of these Pokemon to determine the match. All Around: This style is what most people use. It counters threats while using those same (or similar) threats to fight others.
  13. Quick question. I was curious if the PID/IV algorithm mumbo jumbo applies to Pokemon who have been hatched. Every time I run them through the legality checker it just says "Hatched" so I assume everything's fine when I use the Generate button instead.
  14. Preston, this guide is perfect. Perfect in making me afraid of every single Gamefaqs hacker! But seriously. This helps me a lot in my hacking. I feel like a superior hacker now. Most Gamefaqs pokesavers will overlook this stuff.
  15. I can give proof of my rating experience. I'm on gamefaqs all the time helping reshape Platinum teams and yelling at posters about how they can't use Garchomp in competitive play.
  16. In terms of availability, I have to say the third one. There is a great lack of Pokemon wiith Dark/Ghost moves around that time. Most people use Luxio with Bite, but besides that there's not much choice. Cranidos helps a lot if you can FIND him of course. Zubat gets bite, but Mismagious has psybeam. Noctowl gets Confusion which helps against the Gastly family. But that was the one I had the most trouble on.
  17. Random question. A long long time ago, I remember reading something about how Nintendo attacked Pokesav.org a while ago (Before I was here). Something about how they wanted you to remove their events or something. What happened? Because obviously we still have them. And yes, I just remembered this.
  18. ah, so you obviously can't download the wondercard then... seeing as they didnt exist. But still, I don't see any up there for any Japanese pokemon. wait, I just realized something. This is the first Tanabata event where most people will be using the DSi. Nintendo wouldn't make this a DS Lite exclusive.
  19. a letter? You mean one of the ingame letters, or an actual letter you send via mailboxes? Also, how did we get all the past Jirachi then? Or did we? Actually, come to think of it I only see 2008 and 2007 up there.
  20. Keep in mind that Garchomp is banned in competitive usage. You may still use him in-game, against friends and in the Battle Tower though.

Ah, Nelvins, he's a really good gamefaqs hacker. I know him over there. Its weird. Its like he combined the no-miss attribute of a move like Aerial Ace, the protect-penetrating attribute of Feint and the OHKO status kill of Sheer Cold. And yes, it is very very real. It existed back in Diamond. I think it actually existed back in Emerald if I remember well...
  22. creepy. In that case I'll do it with just my flashcart then. If they check to see you're using platinum, ill try using a savsender. I dont see why they'd do that for a festival though.
  23. oh, snap. That would be impossible then. But wondercards are given via wireless... How do you restrict wireless to certain people? Ok, lets say that there's no lottery. I will try to grab it with my original game and my flashcart. Should I recieve the Jirachi on my flashcart, or get it from the pokemart guy? Or does it matter as long as the wondercard is one of the three cards on the flashcart?
  24. I'll also be very close to a Pokemon store. Hopefully. In other words, I might be the one to upload projectpokemon's 2009 Tanabata Jirachi (gleee!). Random question. If I accept it with my real cartridge and transfer it to my flashcart, will any data be lost? inb4 "why not just get two, one with the real cart and one with the flashcart?" Just in case its a one-per-person deal and they shoo me out as soon as I get it.
