Archived Sticky: Event Contribution Collection
Sabresite replied to Sabresite's topic in Event Contributions
Thanks Grovyle that helps quite a bit! I will redownload the dutch shaymin and look at it again. Also the some of the stuff in the contribution archive are not proper, however I haven't had time to finalize what is proper and reacquire good copies of the missing wondercards. If someone has time to do that, please go ahead.- 1164 replies

I fixed the NoK pokemon problem, which will be available in B54-22. Regarding platinum trash bytes, I don't have time to record the trash byte patterns, therefore non-english/japanese platinum pokemon will always come up as invalid, since they are missing from the program. Your pokemon box pokemon, which were palparked, should have a valid gender check. I will post the fixed version as soon as I can.
-
I tested the Deoxys and it should work. I fixed the NZ Jirachi. I will release it tonight after I make some adjustments, and go christmas shopping.
-
Hopefully I fixed the bug with every mystery gift. If some of them error out, its probably the location support I added, meaning I missed a mystery gift. Simply list them out, and I will go over them again. I also fixed ARIO pikachu, which was not coming up legit when it should have. I also fixed a bug with DP/Pt/HG/SS supported wondercards that have Diamond as their hometown instead of Gold. And fixed DP/Pt supported wondercards that have Gold as their hometown instead of Diamond. If the trainer's name is RUBY, then its probably legit.

A = first RNG call B = second RNG call C = third RNG call D = fourth RNG call the order is PIDlowbits-PIDhighbits-IVs1-IVs2
-
There is no jirachi you can obtain with an OT of the recipient. Therefore this one is an obvious hack.
-
I removed B-A-D-E... you must have been using an old version. I would suggest that you send the Jirachi to me, but ONLY if you are 100% sure its legit.
-
BADE should not exist for Jirachi, although it is theoretically possible... As for the unknown GBA type, it depends on how the pokemon was acquired. Some will always be unknown, and others might have been hacked. Also regarding the Pokemon that were emailed to me. USA Platinum was used, and I do not have a "full" pattern for it. Thank you for sending it though, I updated the USA pattern. It will be up with the next update of Legality Checker. ---------- Post added at 12:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:44 AM ---------- Updated to B54-20. I fixed the trash byte problem Rosalie was having. I fixed the mystery gift problem I also added the missing wondercard pokes from HG/SS.

I am looking into possible bugs. PLEASE EMAIL ME all of your pokemon which are you KNOW are legit and FAIL trash bytes. Keep in mind that trash bytes is not science... we do this by simply palparking a crapton of pokemon and recording the patterns. I am still waiting for someone to do pal parking of non-english, non-japanese Platinum, and HG/SS. If anyone has time to do the ROM editing and pal parking, please contact me. Email is Sabresite [a@t] projectpokemon.org

All of those codes are explained in the readme file. Normal NDS/GBA is the most common, which can be seen on various in-game, wild pokemon.

There is a flag in the game sav itself, not the Pokemon, which determines the ribbon text. This flag existed in the GBA sav file too. And yes it is true that AR codes, for some reason, change the flag.

The ribbon text is NOT kept on the Pokemon itself. Its somewhere else in the save file. I suppose its possible that a bad PCD could change the text of the ribbons. I will do hex comparison with the different mew PCDs that I have. Also, I never use AR codes, so I cannot vouch for how accurate the codes are. Yes I will. That will come with the update to everything else. I will probably do this tonight or tomorrow night.
-
I didn't add mew to legality checker. I have been busy with school work. As soon as I get time, I will make a nice update to Legality Checker

I am sorry, I was not aware of this, I thought it changed. I thought it changes based on the hometown it was gathered from. I assume then that the 0x44 is set in Platinum/HG-SS and is the same as the normal location based on whatever the WC is. Can someone verify if 0x44 is set or not, because I haven't checked any WC pkm myself and I am not home now. I used a program to generate the WC information, so as soon as I get home, I can rerun it and it will fix it all.
